#english afrikaans xhosa and mandarin #english fluently and nigh pretentiously #gotta flex that maximum word count vocab that numerous essays instilled in me #afrikaans fluently too because i continued it till graduation #bit rusty now though because no one outside of south africa actually speaks it #“dead language” rip #half fluent in xhosa because we had to choose which one to graduate with and i went with afrikaans #but i always know when a bitch talks shit #can watch black panther without subtitles tho and that's a decent flex #especially since i stopped in eighth grade #mandarin was a separate school on weekends #still rubbish at it #much to the chagrin of my traditional taiwanese grandparents lmao #also know all the bad words in french danish and spanish #but that's just from travelling and acquiring a my harem of european roommates
