ex fairy kid returns Underhill to retrieve something that belongs to him. Although the sword he carries burns his skin as much as it does the fleeting world around him, the child it holds it tight. He’s brought iron into the fae world. He’s not here to mess around.

//There’s something I’ve been meaning to say for a while so here it is: I’m cutting Dylan away from being a Vocaloid character.

He’s got his origins but at this point he’s branched off and is unique. That being said I’m changing up his outfit and design as the Loucetios design belongs to mecchi and momocashew. I feel like Dylan looks different enough from Oliver that he can stay as is but I’ll still probably ask Amy if this is something she’s comfortable with (and at the end of the day “Oliver” does belong to VocaTone but I don’t think they’ll care.) Dylan’s been in this in-between state for a long time. He has his own original world and story and cast of characters that I’ve built. I want to start over and make characters without the restraint of having a vocaloid counterpart. I really want to create something original! Like a webcomic!

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while. And what to do. I’ve had a hard time committing to packing up though because I really enjoy the Vocaloid askblog community. The people here and their work have gotten me through so much. You’ve all had a tremendous influence on my art and who I am. This place feels like home. I’m extremely grateful to everyone who’s sent in an ask or expressed any kind of interest in what I was making. You’ve helped and inspired me to continue making.

I’m not entirely sure what to do. I enjoy the community here and interacting with you all but at this point Dylan isn’t Vocaloid. He started from Loucetios but he’s grown and changed and so have I. Vocaloid was a starting point. Kinda ready for more.

Here’s what’s what, though: This blog is going to stick around (and the name will as well for archives sake.) Anything here will exist as an AU of the canon story. It’s like a square vs rectangle thing where Dylan fits the role of LoucetiosOliver but Dylan isn’t Oliver and LoucetiosOliver isn’t Dylan. If that makes any sense at all. Basically Lleu, Dylan, and their world isn’t Vocaloid. They’re an original project. If you will allow me though I would love to continue (on and off as I have) to interact with the Vocaloid community and take questions.

The story’s development from here on out will continue on my socials. You can ask me about it there if you want. Not gonna lie I’m excited to answer questions about Dylan and the story as myself! If you have any questions about this blog you can ask me here as well.
