Yup. It was stolen just a couple hours ago. Here’s the last photo I have of the bike, dated three months ago. I know it kinda sucks me lich-ing the blog just for this when I haven’t posted in ages, but... yeah. I haven’t really been posting anything anywhere, so it’s not personal, it’s just... life has been really rough for a long time and this is just one more blow.

So the motorcycle @askstalkerloo had been working on for the past 3 years was stolen tonight/this morning. We’ve filed a police report and gave as much info as we could. Just seems like when we start to think we’re moving ahead, life reminds us that we’re nothing.

I highly doubt we’ll get it back or if we do, back in one piece.

Is, is this blog still alive?

Yeah, the mod’s just really busy with real life stuff still. Vehicle repair, job hunting, preparing a move, working to get out of debt, that sort of stuff while doing the unpaid in-home caretaker gig and being a general handyman too.

I do plan on wrapping up the story - which the script is already mostly done for -  but I haven’t really had the opportunity to draw it because putting food on the table supercedes drawing horses online for entertainment.

I'm not Tumblr Famous. I still smile when I gain a follower and get upset when I lose one. It makes me happy seeing that there are other people on my blog than just me and when someone reblogs something I posted it makes me feel warm inside. I love and appreciate all of my followers. Only a bit, because I have to do a lot of commissions and other stuff to make a living. Drawing pony blogs for free doesn’t pay the bills.

My wife @noodlefreak88 just lost an aunt and three cousins in a fire a few days ago, and we need to get money together to go to the funeral this upcoming saturday. To clarify a little... 

Not really sure what I’d categorize it as, think if Lovecraft and Giger were in charge of the concepts and visuals of Dead Space with the body horror (I already hinted at it a little in prior updates, I just want to push it to its logical conclusion.)

That and while the story and concepts are going towards the dark, I’m not doing dark for dark’s sake, horror for horror’s sake, or grim for grim’s sake. It’s all intended to drive the story, and not planned on being overly gratuitous or a major theme. (I’m not gonna just go off and show the grisly murders of a bunch of teens in a cabin just for fun, or even at all, if you catch my drift.) If it’s not core to the storytelling, if it doesn’t drive the plotline, it won’t be shown. Allusion is far more fun, and I like letting you wonderful readers put the pieces together. When you guys predict stuff or figure out some of the things I’m planning, or solve little mysteries I leave in background clues, that’s really fun for me.

The body horror is actually integral to the storyline at a couple points. If it’s decided I should avoid it as much as possible, I’ll tone it down a good deal.

I could go more in depth, but that’d be spoilers, and oh, do I have some fun lined up.
