Baekyeol Fanfic - The Moon Keeper and The Sun Soldier Part 7
Baekhyun sat on the grass with knees folded into his chest. He stared at the shy stream in front of him and moved his eyes from side to side, causing the tiniest of waves to form and break at his command. He hadn’t been in his mind, though. Thoughts came and sent him into a spiral of regret and deep guilt. He had spent most, if not all, of his afternoon that way.
“Wow… are you doing that with your eyes?” He heard an unfamiliar voice say from behind him, so he turned around and found a man standing with hands to his hips, eyes reaching brows.
Baekhyun stopped the motion and nodded, “Who are you?”
The man walked forward and prompted Baekhyun to stand up. “Oh, sorry. I should’ve started with that.” He scratched the back of his neck, “People call me Weion, but my name is Jongin. I’m here with princess Kyul of the Zarthains.”
Baekhyun looked around as if to see the truth behind his words, “Who is princess Kyul?”
Jongin blinked, stunned at his ignorance. “She is the heir to the Zarthain throne, as well as prince Chanyeol’s suitor.”
He hadn’t known why, but Baekhyun felt a murky sensation cloud his chest. It was heavy and hard, and he didn’t like it at all. How come Chanyeol never told him?
“Prince Chanyeol’s suitor? How come no one is talking about it within the kingdom?” Baekhyun figured that if it was such grand news, then it would have made it to the tongues of all the workers around him.
“They had kept it a secret. It was a backup plan in case the convergence failed, and when it did, Prince Chanyeol avoided any meetings with the Zarthains. So no one had a chance to suspect anything.”
Baekhyun's lips opened. “Oh…”
“But Jongdae tells me that he’s planning an artificial convergence, so I’m here to help.”
Baekhyun looked up at him, realizing then that he had been standing at quite the height compared to him. “How?”
Jongin shone a simper, revealing pearly whites. “I am also a descendant of the moon. I wanted to give you some pointers about water enhancement, but you can move the stream just by the flick of your eyes; I can’t even do that. But you are the moon keeper, so I shouldn't be surprised.”
The corners of Baekhyun’s eyes dragged down, dubious. “Don't think too highly of me. I’m not much of a moon keeper.”
Jongin waved a hand at him, brushing the comment away. “You're still very new to this title, so don't sell yourself short.”
Baekhyun hadn't believed his words, but he couldn't say much as he heard the low faint voice of none other than the prince himself. He turned in expectation, but only saw the grass and the tall bark of trees. He then realized the voice came from inside.
It had been so loud it felt like he was right next to him.
“Can you not realize how rash this is? You have to wait until the artificial convergence at the very least!” Chanyeol sounded beyond furious, and Baekhyun glanced over at Jongin, who happened to turn to him at the same time.
“It’s about the arrangement with the Zarthains, I presume.” Jongin explained, and Baekhyun pulled his lip down to the side, eyes planted to the grass below. He felt utterly terrible. If things had gone the way they were supposed to, none of this would be happening. What a mess he had created.
“How can my own son be so foolish? That is a mockery to our ways and our people! The convergence failed, Chanyeol, and you can’t just summon one at your command!” That snarky voice had definitely been the queen, Baekhyun noted. It made the hole in his stomach expand.
“That’s not good, the queen doesn’t sound too pleased about the artificial convergence.” Jongin stated, brows cut in a line.
“If marrying the heir to the Zarthain throne will end the war, then why is that a bad thing…?”
Jongin gave him a firm look, “Because once The Prince seals his fate with another, you and him will no longer be bound by the sun and the moon. The linkage between the two of you will cease to exist.”
Wind poked his eyes as they widened, not expecting that. “Would I lose my abilities as the moon keeper?”
“Not quite. You will no longer be able to connect with The Prince like you do now. All of the qualities that intertwined you will come to an end.”
Baekhyun felt his shoulders deflate. “So… we won’t be able to heal each other anymore?”
“Not only that-- you two are intertwined in so many different ways. The power you give to each other is very complex, healing is not even half of what you’re able to do for each other. Oh my… I don’t think you know what you two are capable of. ”
And for some reason, that also managed to rip through the mess from within. He hadn’t even discovered these qualities that bound him and Chanyeol together, but they already seemed to be splitting apart.
“I can show you if you would like.” Jongin suddenly offered, and Baekhyun didn’t really care. He was helpless at this point.
Feeling guilty and utterly diminished, Baekhyun decided to see how Chanyeol was doing at such a stressful time. If he had felt that terrible, he couldn’t imagine how Chanyeol was feeling.
The door had been shut when he got to his chambers, and when no answer came after knocking on the hardwood, he turned the knob slowly to peek inside. The room had been empty, so he stepped all the way in and let the door come to a light close.
With furrowed brows, he walked passed the bed that hugged the room together and to the other side of the room, where he opened the double doors into the balcony. There laid a lake that seemed to be… boiling.
Taken aback, Baekhyun approached the strange phenomenon with careful, measured steps. How could a lake boil-- it was something he had never seen before. But he knew one thing: if there was heat, then there had to be Chanyeol. So, he rose his hands and with it came the roaring waters of the lake. The boiling hadn’t stopped as he lifted the liquid, but that didn’t stop him from moving more and more until he reached the dirt of the earth.
Just as he suspected, there had been a latch waiting to be opened. It slowly began to ascend the closer Baekhyun got, so he was able to climb down the latter after it began to close once again. Only then did he let go of the waters of the lake.
Of course this had been a cave, and as he walked down the barely lit path, he wondered why Chanyeol hadn’t showed him this cave as well.
He knew he had been close when he began to hear grunts and the flicker of a flame. When distance was no longer an issue, he came face to face with a steaming Chanyeol, literally. He had a flame pulsing in his hand, arms dusted with ash and flesh reddened to the core. He threw the flame onto the steel wall in front of him, only to conjure up another to give it the same fate as the one that just flashed before his eyes. Over and over again.
His veins had become lava red, shining through the burned skin like a trail of gems. They shone each time Chanyeol formed the balls of fire, and needless to say, Baekhyun was aghast.
“Chanyeol! Stop!” Baekhyun marched over as Chanyeol whipped his body towards him, shock dawning his brows.
“Baekhyun? What are you– how did you get in here?” He was breathing heavily, chest protruding in and out in a quarter of a second.
“Why does that matter?” Baekhyun looked over him in concern. “What are you even doing? You’re hurting yourself!” He took a moment to inspect the burns scattered all around Chanyeol’s skin, something stinging against his own skin the more he picked out the burns.
He reached a hand out to attempt to heal him, but Chanyeol grabbed his wrist before he could make contact, causing him to flinch. “Don’t. I don’t deserve to heal.”
Baekhyun’s eyes turned down in sadness, “Of course you deserve to heal.” His hand slipped down from his grip, “How can you say that?”
Chanyeol looked away, head hanging. “I'm not fit to be a prince, or a ruler, or whatever these people need me to be. I can't do anything right.”
Baekhyun felt something stab him deep into his insides. It was hard and heavy and piercing, and watching Chanyeol like this only elongated the hurt.
Picking his hand up, he slowly moved it over towards his cheek, where he was relieved that Chanyeol hadn’t swatted him away. Baekhyun picked his head up and made him look at him. “Don't say that, you're doing everything you can. Sometimes you have to be what you need to be, not what everyone wants you to be.”
It was silent for a moment as they took one another in, Chanyeol skimming past the features that made up Baekhyun’s face while he couldn't help but do the same. It was as if their eyes had been doing the talking for them. “Maybe you could think of a plan–”
Chanyeol suddenly grabbed Baekhyun by the small of his back and swept him deep into his embrace, where he dropped his head down against his shoulder and held him tightly. “Can we just… stay like this? Just for a little while?” A low rumble ensued from within Chanyeol’s throat, passing into his ears.
Baekhyun felt something spring throughout his body at the closeness. It had seemed like the flame that blazed throughout Chanyeol’s veins crossed boundaries over into him. Being held by him like this, it was something so liberating and unexplainably tranquil. It felt so right.
So Baekhyun wrapped his arms around the burnt flesh of Chanyeol’s back and leaned into the crook between his neck and shoulder, eyes closing as the beat of his heart took over. Of course, he had wanted to say, but he couldn’t quite use words at such a moment.
Baekhyun felt himself go adrift, a lightness circling about him the longer they held onto one another. It was truly amazing, he thought. How suddenly being inside Chanyeol’s arms transported him to a place far off the ground, to a place of freedom.
He hoped that Chanyeol felt the same way, and by the way he kept tightening his grasp onto him, Baekhyun thought he just might.
Then something unexpected happened. Just as Baekhyun buried himself deeper into Chanyeol’s chest, he felt something… come out of his fingers. It was warm and fluid, like water. He sensed it moving up and onto the surface of the sun soldier’s back.
Having felt this as well, Chanyeol stiffened slightly and pulled back, their lower halves still pressed together but their upper halves having separated. Baekhyun didn’t quite like the feeling of him moving. He almost groaned, but caught himself.
“Wait are you… healing me?” Chanyeol asked, something different having gleamed in his eyes. He had went from angry frustration, to innocent freshness.
Baekhyun blinked and looked at his hands, and found his veins glowing in the color of what seemed to be the ocean. He glanced back up at Chanyeol, dumbfounded. “Am… I?”
“Yes, you are. You’re finally doing it awake.” Chanyeol smiled and his whole demeanor managed to change. He didn't know if it was because he was one with the sun, but he could see the flame fizzle through his eyes. The determination was loud and clear. But what he was determined about, Baekhyun did not know.

Baekyeol Fanfic– The Moon Keeper and The Sun Soilder Part 6
Chanyeol moved his head up and down, nose brushing against Baekhyun's in a slow manner. He kept their foreheads pressed together and simply stayed that way, breathing each other in.
Baekhyun felt his heart grow, if that was even possible. But he didn't feel anxious or nervous, it had been a settling feeling. The only thing giving him an unnerving sensation was the sudden need to have Chanyeol even closer. Despite that, the tranquility that sprinkled through his mind could not be topped.
Therefore, he closed his eyes and cherished this present moment. He would lie if he said he hadn't waited for Chanyeol's plush lips, but instead he received the warmth on the middle of his forehead.
Fluttering his eyes open, all Baekhyun could see was Chanyeol's chin while the man pressed the kiss onto his skin. He looked up at him when he pulled away, the warmth of his lips lingering even then.
"No matter what happens, I want you to know that I'll always be there to protect you." Chanyeol said as he swiped Baekhyun's fringe to the side, finger tracing down to his cheek, then cupping it.
He leaned into his touch. "I know... I will try to always protect you too."
Chanyeol let out a grin, a crinkle about the ends of his eyes. He was going to say something, but a noise of feet stomping harshly onto the ground above them echoed and cut him off. Darting his eyes up, he furrowed his brows, "Did you hear that?"
Baekhyun had also been looking up, "It sounded like feet... how could anyone be walking on water?"
"They can't."
Then the next thing they knew the latch flipped open and down came three men with chucks of ice floating around them, and it took Baekhyun a moment to realize that they had been controlling them. He was all but surprised. How is that even possible?
"Baekhyun, get down!" Chanyeol shouted out just as the men launched their blocks of ice at them. They had jumped behind Heiwa in the flash of a second, who roared up and literally blew the men away.
"Stay behind Heiwa," Chanyeol spoke and tried to move towards the men, but Baekhyun grabbed his wrist before he could even move. Heiwa has released yet another roar as blocks of ice and water crashed into the wall in front of them.
"N-No! You can't go out there, they're not normal!" He was all urgency and fear, which had been clear in his shaking irises.
Chanyeol held his hand and squeezed to reassure him, but the alarm had swallowed it up. "Don't worry, just stay behind Heiwa, please." He gave him a look and bolted to the side, where he dashed off. Baekhyun took in a gulp as his whole body tensed up, shoulders and legs trembling.
He dared to look beyond Heiwa's back and watched as Chanyeol's hand glew in an orange-red color, a flame growing out of it. Baekhyun's lips parted.
He had battled with it as the men cooled his flames with their water, and Baekhyun tightened his fist as he hoped for Chanyeol to prevail.
Baekhyun has been watching Chanyeol so intently that he hadn't noticed one of the men sneaking up behind him, which had him jolt when he was pulled into a chokehold.
Panicking, he ran his foot through the shoes of the man and caused him to loosen his grip on him as he bent over with Baekhyun still in his hold. Baekhyun's limbs had been shaking, but he heard a voice in his head that sounded a lot like Chanyeol. Use your elbow.
And so he connected the dots and jammed his elbow right into the other man's ribs, which made him fall to the ground. When he thought he was free, he felt a huge wave hit him from the side, knocking him hard into the wall.
Baekhyun slipped down from the sudden impact, the room hazy in his vision. He tried to look around, but it was to no avail. He could make out the blurry outline of the man, though, and it took no perfect sight to see the sharp, thick iced knife in his hand. It raced against the air to prick him in the heart, but a body swam in front of him and held the arm up and pushed the man away roughly.
The room stopped spinning and he held his head as he lifted his back up, where he had a view of Chanyeol's backside. But something had been wrong as the material on his body suddenly began to light on fire, the flames raising out of his skin like it was a part of him.
Chanyeol spun his head around and created a giant ball of fire; Baekhyun coughed as the heat blocked his senses, but it didn't stop him from watching as he beamed it at them, the fire burning them to death.
The flames around Chanyeol began to decrease bit by bit until he was left completely naked. He turned around and hurried over to Baekhyun nonetheless, getting into his knees to look him over.
"Are you hurt?" He put an arm around his shoulders and helped him sit up, all the while Baekhyun groaned at the movement.
"I'm okay.." he touched a hand to his head and closed his eyes for a minute, attempting to gather his bearings.
He looked over at Chanyeol from behind his shoulder and woke right up when he saw the burns covered all over his naked body. Baekhyun turned on his knees instantly, eyes scanning him from head to toe. The stinging rang in the back of his head at the quick movement, but he pushed it to the side.
"C-Chanyeol! You're burned!" He reached out to touch him, causing Chanyeol to grimance. He pulled back immediately, eyes rounding in worry.
"As long as you're okay then it's fine."
Instead of his body, Baekhyun touched Chanyeol's cheeks with the slightest fingers. "No it's not, Chanyeol.." he shook his head and tried to brush the ash and dust off of his hair.
Taking off his cloak, he drapped it around Chanyeol's back and made sure to tie it firmly. Baekhyun continued to look at him with pain in his eyes, pain that he felt for him.
"You can heal me when we get back, I'm already feeling better because you're by my side." Chanyeol tried, but it didn't supress the sadness or guilt that lurked in his sides.
He frowned, but grabbed Chanyeol's hand and held onto it as lightly as he could, before helping him up and leading him out of the cave.
Days passed by after that, and Baekhyun had been by Chanyeol's side 24 hours every day. Although Chanyeol never once asked for anything of him, he still came through for the sake of being there for him. His heart was more at ease when he saw him, rather than just hearing how he was doing.
Baekhyun knocked on Chanyeol's door and entered not a beat too late, finding the sun soilder bent over his chair, working on yet another peace treaty.
"Can you stop with these? The first one you made 7 days ago is just fine." He laid the plate of rice and stew on the side of the desk. "You should eat."
Chanyeol sighed, "Thanks, but it has to be perfect if it's going to end this 67 year old war."
There he went again. The fact that this war had prolonged for so long blew Baekhyun's mind. People were so stubborn, so selfish to put others in danger for the sake of power.
He walked over behind Chanyeol and began massaging his shoulders, rubbing them and squeezing them just the way he liked it. When Chanyeol let out a pleased "hmm," he smirked. "It's getting late now anyways... come to bed. You know it's the only way I can continue to heal you."
Unfortunately, that had been true. Baekhyun couldn't heal Chanyeol unless they were asleep. He didn't know why, but he thought it was better than not being able to heal him at all.
"That sounds pretty tempting. I don't think I can say no." Chanyeol grabs Baekhyun's hands and tugs him over to the side, where he wraps his arms around his back and lays his head on his flat stomach.
Baekhyun fiddled with his tinted locks and stroked his back with a gentle touch. "Then come on," he whispered, "I'm tired."
Chanyeol peeked up at that and stood up to swing Baekhyun into his arms all of a sudden, catching the man off guard.
"Chanyeol! Your wounds could open up if you stress them like this! Put me down!" He yelped, but Chanyeol had only been staring at him, a grin sent from one lip to the other.
"As you wish." He walked over towards the bed and laid him down softly, then whisked over on top of him to place a kiss onto his forehead.
They laid side to side with fingers intertwined, shoulders pressed together and heads occasionally sharing one. Baekhyun smiled himself to sleep at the fuzzy warmth that he felt whenever he shared a bed with Chanyeol. And he hoped Chanyeol felt the same way.
The next morning, Baekhyun and Chanyeol sat on the dining table for breakfast. He looked over at Chanyeol and laughed as he read over the peace treaty he has written 1000 times. Shaking his head, he reached for a grape and took one into his mouth.
Everything had been normal until the royal food taster had a coughing fit. It seemed usual, but then he splurged out a line of blood onto the floor, where he crumbled down and began throwing up more and more blood. Baekhyun gasped and threw a hand over his mouth as he watched in horror.
"The porridge has been poisoned!" Yelled out one of the sevents, who quickly came to swipe it away as the queen showed up at the door.
"What is the meaning of this? This whole kingdom is to be searched right now! I want every room inspected! There is a trader lurking within our walls!" She bellowed out angerly, sending the servents into a frenzy.
All Baekhyun could think about was the possibility of loosing Chanyeol. And although he's faced such a change before, it felt even more terrorizing then.
- END -
I don't think I'll put in any options anymore since not many of you are participating, but I'm obviously gonna continue writing it ^-^ As for parts, I don't know how much parts this will end up being, but the more the merrier! xD

Baekyeol Fanfic– The Moon Keeper and The Sun Soilder Part 5
Treading back to his room, Baekhyun sat on his bed with knees drawn into his chest. He knew that running away would only create more problems for himself, and that staying here would be even more difficult to avoid them. He shut his eyes and laid his head against his hands, folding them across his knees. He had to make this reawakening happen as soon as possible, or else he'd be as good as dead.
The next morning, Baekhyun headed to the garden and began practicing on the water. After getting a hold of it yesterday, he was able to take control more easily. He had wanted to ask Jongdae about the reawakening and what he had to do in specific to make it all work, but the healer was no where in sight.
Therefore, he decided to continue pulsing the water through the air, manipulating it the way he had preferred. The size of the water he could move was thin and long, which wasn't much to his liking, but he emphasized practice for that reason as well.
"Hey." He heard the same voice that sent an echo about his chest, but it was lower this time. More enclosed and tight. Baekhyun turned and saw Chanyeol coming towards him, a cloak hanging down his arm.
"How are you today?" He naturally touched his cheek and then allowed his finger to slide down the side of Baekhyun's face, ending at the tip of his chin and caressing softly.
"I'm... alright."
Chanyeol held the cloak up and wiggled it around a couple times. "You and I are going out today."
Baekhyun blinked and looked back and forth between the cloak and Chanyeol. "You're not serious... are you?"
"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?"
I don't know, because everyone I pass by will probably try to kill me?
He wanted to voice his inner turmoil, but decided against it. Talking didn't even feel safe anymore.
"I don't feel good about it Chanyeol..." he decided to say instead.
Chanyeol's brows met at the top of his forehead in an instant, the concern was clear as day. "Is it because of Minseok?"
Baekhyun nodded, the tips of his mouth pulled down into a frown. "It's too risky."
"But do you trust me?" Chanyeol said flat out, and put a rock into Baekhyun's throat.
"Of course." it would feel wrong to say otherwise, and he knew he would be lying regardless.
"Then put this cloak on and come with me."
Taking in a breath, Baekhyun reached out to grab the cloak with hesitance. "Can you tell me where we're going?"
Chanyeol smirked with a crinkle to his eyes, but Baekhyun was no fool, there had been something clouding the sun that used to shine through those brown eyes. "You'll see." And that was the response he was not anticipating.
Thinning his lips, he slipped through the cloak and jerked the hat up to meet his head. Chanyeol had also been dressed in one himself, and when he put his own hat on, they were off.
They took a horse, Baekhyun sitting in front of Chanyeol so he was secured in between his arms, and started down the trail that lead to the village. Baekhyun had his head bowed so that he was hiding well below the hat of the cloak, but his eyes wondered for all that it could grasp as they passed by stands that sold fruit, vegetables, grains, silk, and other items he couldn't quite see.
Baekhyun thought they were going to get off there, but Chanyeol only kept the horse going until they reached the woods, which set off an alarm in Baekhyun.
When they reached a waterfall that streamed down a long height, Chanyeol let go of the reins and jumped down. Baekhyun looked at him with uncertain eyes. He let a hand out for him to take.
"You're going to be fine, I won't let anything happen to you." His words softened him over and he bit down on his bottom lip. Taking his hand out of the cloak, Baekhyun slowly extended it over and placed it inside the heat of Chanyeol's hand, which clasped over his as soon as he had touched it. Assurance found its way through their tied hands and into his murky chest.
Chanyeol helped him down and grabbed his waist when he was on the ground to steady him. Baekhyun looked at him through his lashes and reached over to reclasp their hands together, the need to keep him close overpowering all else.
Chanyeol eyed their woven digits and softly rubbed circles on the skin of Baekhyun's hand with his thumb, before starting to walk over towards the river. Baekhyun analyzed his surroundings and saw a familiar tree in the backdrop, and right next to it was a cave. This was where he had first woken up.
Why would Chanyeol bring him back here?
"Can you move the water out of the way?"
Baekhyun appeared stunned at the question, "All of the water?"
Chanyeol nodded and he was still staring at him like he had seen a ghost. "I'm not that experienced yet! I-I can barely move more than a few pounds... it's like lifting weights."
"It's okay. Here." Chanyeol let go of their hands for a moment and sent warning signals throughout his system.
He came behind Baekhyun and rested his hands on his shoulders. "Can you move as much as you can right now?"
Nodding, Baekhyun moved his arms up and watched as the water rose at his command. He had wanted to ask what to do next, but then he felt something warm and soft stick on the side of his neck. It had been Chanyeol's lips.
With widened eyes, Baekhyun felt like he was going to lose control and before he knew it, both halves of the river separated in half. Chanyeol pulled out and their eyes met, and although it had shaken him up, there was something peaceful about the feeling that made him want more.
"See? You could do it. You just needed some excitement." Chanyeol chuckled and began walking down to the wet soil. With crimson cheeks, he kept the water apart and followed down with him.
"At l-least warn me next time!" He spoke out as he tried to gather his messy emotions.
"Oh, so you want a next time?" Chanyeol looked back at him with a smirk, but this time it was more genuine, more him.
Swallowing, Baekhyun adverted his eyes away and continued behind him when he started walking again. He was worried that he should have said no.
The reached an opening in the middle of the ground and Chanyeol lifted it open, "I'll go in first and spot you since you have to keep the river apart." Baekhyun nodded.
After he had went down, Baekhyun heard Chanyeol say, "Jump, I'll catch you."
"Jump? You never mentioned that!"
"Just trust me!"
Baekhyun let out a huff. He had been tired of trusting this man. But regardless, he chewed on the inside of his cheeks and gave out a small, "I-I'm coming!" With eyes closed, he hopped through the circular opening an the latch closed as soon as he had been through.
When he landed, it had been in Chanyeol's arms. He grunted and wrapped his arms around him as if by instinct, and when he heard a rough laugh, he knew he was alive. "You can open your eyes now. You made it."
Baekhyun reeled back slowly, uncurling himself from Chanyeol and looking around at the place in discovery. This cave was completely enclosed as the only opening had been that secret latch, so the only thing giving them light was the candles spaced out within the cave.
All was well and calm until he spotted something moving in the far corner, and as it slithered free, he realized he had been looking at a dragon.
His hands wrapped around Chanyeol right away, the man still carrying him. "T-That's a d-dragon! What t-the hell Chanyeol!"
"It's okay, she won't hurt you."
Baekhyun shot a horrific look at him, "How can you say that?! It's a dragon!"
"Because she's not just any dragon, she's my sister."
Baekhyun took a moment before saying anything, "Your sister?"
"I'm born from the flame, and so is she. We're related like the moon is to you. Come on, she can't even hurt a bug." Chanyeol walked over to the large animal and Baekhyun visibly shook.
"I-I don't think so."
"She likes you already, look." Baekhyun turned over and found the dragon right by Chanyeol's feet, where it laid down in peace.
Chanyeol slowly let him down. "Just pet her." Baekhyun played with his fingers and bent down beside the creature, but touching her was going to be a challenge.
"Here." Chanyeol took his hand and guided him towards the fluff of the dragon's mane. It had been a silky dark, whereas the rest of her body was a mix of maroon and silver.
Baekhyun let out a small smile, "She's actually kind of cute." He began fluffing the mane more, watching in awe as the dragon wrinkled its nose and took out its tongue only to slip it back in.
"Her name is Heiwa." Chanyeol said while also fluffing her, all love and care.
"Nice to meet you Heiwa." Baekhyun laughed to himself as Chanyeol watched with fond eyes. He looked at him with the softest gaze.
"I really like it when you smile and laugh." Chanyeol spoke randomly, without a filter. It slipped through his mind, and it happened to make its way out of his mouth. "It's beautiful."
Baekhyun stopped his movements and shifted over towards him, the heat making its way back to his face. He looked away as soon as he found Chanyeol's eyes and went back to stroking Heiwa. He couldn't focus after that, though, and with Chanyeol scooting closer to him, he felt his heart giggle.
A slender finger turned his head and he found himself looking back into those gleaming brown eyes. "I feel so at peace when I'm with you." Chanyeol admitted, his words pure sincerity mixed with genuineness. Baekhyun could feel it in the weight of his glance.
He couldn't rip himself away from his eyes, a beat starting up in the pit of his stomach. "Me too.." he chose to say, because it was only the truth. Being here with Chanyeol distracted him beyond repair. It made him forget about the war and everything else that was threatening them. It made him want to have hope.
Chanyeol slid his hand back up Baekhyun's cheeks with both hands, holding him with the most delicate fingers. He could only look at his soft, feather-like lips.
Chanyeol leaned in closer to lay his forhead against Baekhyun's, noses brushing against one another and lips begging to be sewed together.
- END -
1) Chanyeol swooped in and claimed his lips with his own, tasting all of him with his tongue. Baekhyun leaned his head back as he allowed Chanyeol inside, mouth folding over his in each kiss. He felt a sensation like no other sizzle around his body. It felt electric, and it grew more and more as they touched and felt each other. He couldn't say anything other than he simply loved it.
2) Chanyeol slowly shook his head and pulled himself out of Baekhyun's space, his touch now a ghost to his hot skin. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be doing this." He moved further back and didn't have the courage to look at him, all the while Baekhyun ached for the lips he never received.

Baekyeol Fanfic Game– The Moon Keeper and The Sun Soilder Part 4
Baekhyun continued worrying his lip as he descended down on the sheets, where he turned to face Chanyeol. It just felt... right to do so. Their bodies hadn't been pressed together, but they were close enough to feel the heat of each other's breaths. Chanyeol laid out his arm vertically against the mattress and opened his his hand. Baekhyun took a while before placing his own hand inside of his, and enclosing it in a perfect fold.
Baekhyun glanced into his eyes and felt virtually little to no pain anymore. It was so magical, he thought. How a simple touch could wash away the poison within.
"This is the part where you're supposed to sleep." Chanyeol burst through his bubble, causing him to blink out of it.
"S-Sorry..." he looked away and Chanyeol let out a small chuckle before reaching for the blanket with his free hand and draping it over them. "Thanks..." Baekhyun murmured in a hushed tone.
"Sleep well." Chanyeol squeezed his hand and it gave him some type of reassurance. Then he began to feel lighter as the mattress warmed up all of a sudden. And just like that, he found himself drifting away. However, for the first time since he got there, it was in relaxation, not fear.
Baekhyun woke to the light stir of the body next to him. He focused his eyes on the man, and dipped back when he found him way too close. It wasn't a rash move, so Chanyeol continued sleeping, but his chest had still been pressed to Baekhyun's.
He felt their fingers still intertwined, squished between the mass of their bodies. He also noticed that Chanyeol's free arm had been drawn over his waist, which is what seemed to have brought them together.
Strangely enough, he didn't feel panicked or embarrassed. It was soothing, in a way, to have Chanyeol so close. His heart was at a pleasant ease and there was an open space surrounding it that he hadn't sensed before, as if it had been a cages that was locked for years and he only now found the key.
This sensation lead him to observing Chanyeol's resting face. He noted that he looked so tranquil and at peace, free of the chains that wound up his mind on the daily. It hurt him to know that he had the chance to free him even when he was awake.
His eyes traced the outline of Chanyeol's disheveled locks, the ends of his eyes that he hadn't seen crinkle, and his pink plush lips that he didn't see smile as much as he realized he would have liked. He thought his smile must be stunning, if he looked just as handsome asleep.
His eyes stopped their travels when they landed on the clear length of his slender neck. A sparkle danced within him as he peered closer, seeing that the wound that was once there had disappeared. A small grin broke out on his face– he had done it!
Reaching out in a tentative pace, he stroked the skin with the tip of his soft fingers. It made him feel good to know that he had done something to benefit Chanyeol, even if it was just healing a wound.
Baekhyun stopped grazing the area when Chanyeol began to stirr again. He completely froze as he slid to the other side, separating their woven fingers.
Letting out a sigh, Baekhyun looked down at his hand. It felt cold to let go, but he suspected it had to do with Chanyeol being the sun soilder.
A knock then echoed throughout the room, and made him flinch. He instinctively looked at Chanyeol, who was still sound asleep. Baekhyun smiled to himself; he must have been a deep sleeper.
Moving out of the sheets, he took gentle steps towards the door before opening it.
He found the healer standing on the other side, arms folded against his chest. "It's time for your training session. Come with me." He stated in an orderly manner, not giving Baekhyun a chance to say much of anything and walking off, expecting him to follow.
With a crease resting between his brows, he shut the door with minimal effort and strode after him. When he caught up, he asked "What training?"
"For the reawakening." The healer replied simply, continuing down the trail highlighted in his mind, which lead them to a vast garden. There had been an ovular lake humming in the middle, a bridge perking above it in an arch, surrounded by the greenery of light grass and dark bushes tinged by flowers of sorts. It has been breath taking.
"I'm assuming Chanyeol told you about the oneness?" He asked whilst staring into the lake, lids covering his irses as if he his mind had been transported elsewhere.
Baekhyun shook his head, even though the man couldn't see him. "No..."
"Well then, I have much to teach you." He then reintroduced the world to his eyes and lifted his hands up, and what happened after that had stopped Baekhyun's heart from pumping, his loud gasp filling the air.
With the motions of the healer's hands, the water of the lake also followed with him as if he could control it. Baekhyun watched in utter awe as he flowed his hands through the air and commanded the water to do the same. It felt like it came right out of a science fiction movie.
"H-How... how are you doing that?" His head moved along with the movements, captivated by the man at work.
"This is called the oneness. Only those who are one with the moon can preform this sacred art. Because like the astronomical body, we can also push and pull the tides at will." He preformed the pushing and pulling motions with his hands, and just as Baekhyun had thought, the water came and went, in sync with the gestures. "You are also a moon inhabitant. And this will give you the potential to restore peace, if used to complement the sun star inhabitant."
Chanyeol. Baekhyun was almost 100% he had been talking about Chanyeol.
"So this could end the war?" He had to ask, hope tied to his tounge.
"I want to create an artificial convergence. And if it works, then yes, we could end the war."
Baekhyun came forward in a beat. "How do I... do it?" He stood at the head of the lake, wonder vibrating throughout his body.
"You must clear your mind. No thoughts should occur, as they build a buffer between you and your experience as a being of the moon. Just like water, you must allow yourself to slide through any boulder or obstruction and go forward." He allowed the water to return to the lake and turned to Baekhyun. "Now you try."
Taking in a breath, Baekhyun closed his eyes and attempted to paint his mind with a coat of clear white, spaceless and void. He then lifted his arms up as he remembered the healer had done.
Peaking through his eyes to see if he had succeeded, he frowned when he saw nothing happening. The water was just as still as he left it.
"You have to keep trying. It won't happen in one stroke. Just empty your mind. You are water and you're trying to move through the stream. Nothing more."
Baekhyun tried again, and again, and again, and again, but the outcome was just as displeasing. By the time he was on his 20th try, the healer dismissed himself as he had prior engagements to tend to, and left Baekhyun to complete the task on his own.
His shoulders deflated. This didn't seem like it was going to work.
"So, this is why I woke up deserted." Baekhyun visibly shook as the sultry voice entered his ears. He found Chanyeol leaning back on the door that lead to the garden, head crooked in amusement. "I wanted to be the one to tell you, but Jongdae beat me to it."
Baekhyun protruded his lips in a pout, "I don't know what I'm doing wrong."
"Maybe it's your form?" Chanyeol questioned as he began to walk up to him. He held him by his biceps when he was close enough and turned him back around to face the lake. He then palmed Baekhyun's chest and felt around, "You also don't seem to have cleared your mind. Your chest is still carrying so much thought."
Baekhyun licked his lips, "My chest? But how?"
"When you empty your mind, you have to empty your whole body. Relax, let go, be loose. Water isn't ridgit, it's all encompassing." Chanyeol held his shoulder and pulled him in, "Lay back on me."
Baekhyun glanced up at him, something starting up in the pit of his stomach. "W-Why?"
"Do you have to question everything? Just let go and come here." He wrapped strong arms around his waist and drew him into his chest, where Baekhyun felt weightless. "I want you to relax. Empty everything."
Laying his head back on the broad space between Chanyeol's neck and shoulder, Baekhyun tried to lose himself to the water. Chanyeol started to rock back and forth, which helped form the illusion of a wave.
After a few seconds of small movements such as those, Chanyeol hulted and reached down to grasp onto Baekhyun's arms. He laid each one on top of his own and as he moved them, Baekhyun's had to follow.
A shiver crawled down his spine when he felt Chanyeol's lips skin past his ears in a whispers, "Open your eyes."
And just as he did, his eyes lit up when he saw strings of water flowing through the air. Chanyeol continued to move his arms, and as Baekhyun's naturally mimicked above them, the water traveled as Chanyeol pleased.
Baekhyun couldn't help the small giggle that escaped him. "This is so amazing." He raved in the glory of the light feeling. It was so fluid and unnaturally natural. The way the water moved along with him was a feeling he couldn't find words for. It was like he had been controlling a part of himself, a oneness.
Chanyeol slowly began to let go of him and Baekhyun had to move his arms on his own. He shifted an eye to him as if asking for permission, and Chanyeol only nodded in encouragement.
Moving his arms all around, the liquid circled in the same direction and looped around all of the strokes that he drew against the air. He let out a laugh each time the surreality became all the more real.
"I can't believe this is happening."
Chanyeol let out a chuckle, "You're so adorable."
Something rattled within Baekhyun and although he let out a bashful smile, the water had crumbled and splashed back into the body of the lake.
"Oops.." he scratched the back of his neck, to which Chanyeol lifted his lips.
"Come, you should see the fountain of Plexsis."
Baekhyun walked beside Chanyeol as they headed towards a deeper part of the garden, the side that was filled with block grounding and a fountain sleeping in the middle.
"This fountain can only flow once the moon keeper enhances the water that's trapped inside. It was meant for you." Baekhyun's lips parted in the slightest and he peered closely at it, touching its gritty surface.
"Does something happen after the water flows out?"
Chanyeol shook his head, "No one has done it to know. But some say it's could have the power to replenish thousands of villages."
"Thousands? Wow..."
"No one knows for sure, it's just what they say. But enough of this, lets go in and eat. It's just like Jongdae to make you work on an empty stomach."
They turned to walk back out of the garden. "Well, he does emphasize emptiness a lot."
Chanyeol laughed heartily, all throat and chest. "That's true. It's funny because when he trained me to seize the flame, he would tell me to focus on something rather than empty my mind."
"Really? Could you show me how you move the flame? If it's anything like the water then I think it'll be amazing."
"I don't really like to use the flame. It becomes uncontrollable easily so it's pretty dangerous. I don't want to risk the chance of hurting you."
They entered the dinning room before Baekhyun could even notice. "Oh... I see." The disappointment was clear as day in his tone, for simply hearing of seizing the flame enticed him.
After breakfast was over, Chanyeol had to attended meetings with the ministers of each district of Asmerti. So Baekhyun went back into the garden to continue trying the oneness on the water. It was too exciting to only do once a day.
When he was done and day turned to night, he thought about going up to his room, but decided to seek out Chanyeol instead. Something within him wanted to look for him.
He ended up at the door of his chamber, where it was left ajar. He wanted to enter, but then he heard not only the sound of Chanyeol's voice, but that of a woman.
"You have to kill him, Chanyeol. It's the only way for everything to calm down! If you give the raiders what they want, then they could settle for a peace treaty."
"Why would killing end a war that's only creating more deaths? I'm not going to do it, Ji Ae." Baekhyun could hear the scorn within Chanyeol's speech.
"Come on! That boy came here to die, did you actually think that convergence was going to work? Even if he hadn't run away, none of it would have done anything but provoke the raiders. It's all fables and tall tales!"
Baekhyun's eyes flared as he realized she was talking about him.
"No, Ji Ae! How could you say that so intently? Baekhyun is going to stay here with me and this kingdom will protect him, do you here me? This is the last I ever want to hear of this distasteful topic."
Baekhyun trembled at the raise in Chanyeol's voice, and he felt unease swarm throughout his stomach like a virus. He had no idea what to do next, but he knew one thing: he wasn't going to be safe here. Anywhere here.
- END -
Pick what you would like to happen next:
1) Baekhyun heard footsteps coming his way, so he quickly pushed his trembling legs to dash out of there. He stopped at the garden, where he looked around helplessly for an idea, a rescue. And then he looked over the fence and realized that he could jump. This time, he was sure he wasn't going to be found by anyone.
2) Treading back to his room, Baekhyun sat on his bed with knees drawn into his chest. He knew that running away would only create more problems for himself, and that staying here would be even more difficult to avoid them. He shut his eyes and laid his head against his hands, folding them across his knees. He had to make this reawakening happen as soon as possible, or else he'd be as good as dead.

Baekyeol Fanfic Game- The Moon Keeper and The Sun Soilder Part 3
Baekhyun had wanted to leave the room to use the restroom, but just as he tried to open the door, it suddenly started to quake before he could even touch it. Swiping his hand back, he looked at it as if it had been a rocket science equation. "Um, you can open it now." He heard a dim voice say, and realized that it must have been Chanyeol.
Licking his lips, Baekhyun opened the door and found Chanyeol standing a couple feet away from him. "That happens when we're close together... sorry." He scratched the back of his neck as Baekhyun walked closer, "I just wanted to check up on you. I won't hold you up." He turned on his heel to leave, and Baekhyun began to panic.
Without thinking much of it, he let out a "W-Wait." Chanyeol stopped to looked back at him, brows up in wonder.
"What is it?"
Baekhyun inched over to him, hand over his stomach. "I'm the one... who should be apologizing." His glance shifted over to Chanyeol's eyes, where he saw hurt covered by strength. "I would have died if it wasn't for you... so I'm sorry for thinking the worst of you. I just don't belong here. I'm not the moon keeper or whatever you call it. I can't help you."
"How can you be so sure? You didn't come here for no reason. The eclipse chose you. I chose you." Chanyeol had been so confident, so sold on this idea. Baekhyun bit on the inside of his lip, unable to think clearly. "Can I show you something?" Chanyeol asked as he read the confusion imprinted all over Baekhyun's face.
"I promise it'll be okay. Trust me." He made sure to say before coming closer.
"What are... you going to do?" Baekhyun asked tentatively, eyes peaking up through his lashes.
Chanyeol reached out to touch him and Baekhyun flinched, but their gazes connected and he felt the need to stay still.
Chanyeol cupped his cheek and held the structure, fingers grazing over his ear and thumb warming up his flesh. It had been strange for a moment as they stood there in silence, but then something stirred up in Baekhyun's back and it slid into his stomach and up his chest. Then before he knew it, the pain he carried in most of his joints increased in intensity for a second or two.
He groaned and touched the hand on his cheek, but then the stinging decreased dramatically until the pain nearly vanished. It was the most relief he's ever felt that whole day.
Chanyeol slid his hand away and with it, Baekhyun's own arm dropped. Unlike with the healer, his cramps hadn't returned. If anything, they seemed nonexistent; at least in comparison to before.
"Would something like this happen to anyone normal?" Chanyeol asked, leaving Baekhyun quiet. That experience left him speechless, and it buffered the line he had drawn to decipher reality from dreams. It was unbelievable. "I know it'll be hard to let go of the life you once had, but you have to try to adjust to how it will be."
Baekhyun stayed silent and tried to keep his thoughts in order, but they were loud and overbearing.
"You should go back inside. The room is hot because it's made of my flame, so you'll heal faster in there. I'll be in my chamber if you need anything."
Baekhyun watched Chanyeol's back move further away and the pit in his stomach grew the more distance he walked. He breathed in deeply and hugged himself. This was going to be difficult.
After a few hours, the pain was back and stronger than ever before. He thought it must've been to the same degree as last time, but the fact that he's been free of it made it all the more terrible.
He knew that he needed Chanyeol, but something in his tone when they talked before gave Baekhyun the impression that he had been upset with him. He didn't want to knock on his door and and just ask him to touch him. Oh how weird that would be. He nearly shivered just thinking of it.
Therefore he called for the healer, but he was in for a treat when he saw a much taller, more broader chested man come through the door instead.
"The laborers said you called, is everything okay?" Chanyeol asked as he approached him.
"It... hurts."
"Where?" Chanyeol sat on the edge of the bed and analyzed him, eyes jumping from one body part to the other.
"Everywhere." Baekhyun croaked, the lining of his eyes becoming wet with tears. He hadn't meant to cry, but the pain sizzled through his skin and toyed with his bloodstream, he couldn't handle it.
Chanyeol noticed and grabbed a hold of his hand quickly, his other hand climbing up Baekhyun's leg and all the way to his chest. The sensation already felt calming, so Baekhyun allowed himself to shut down for a minute.
Chanyeol roamed around Baekhyun's body freely. Skimming past his neck, softening over round shoulder blades, sliding down the lengths of his arms, and palming his stomach in the lightest way he could.
"How does that feel?" Chanyeol's words had been dripping with worry.
"Really good." Baekhyun opened his eyes again and squeezed Chanyeol's hand. "I... I don't want to stay here alone."
Chanyeol sucked his lips in and nodded, hand meeting Baekhyun's cheek just as they did before. "Don't worry, I won't leave you."
Baekhyun kept the hold on his hand tight as Chanyeol thumbed at his stomach gingerly, moving in circular motion around the area.
As the pain descended, Baekhyun became more and more aware of their positions and his grueling thoughts. "Are you angry with me?" He chose to ask, filling in the silence.
Chanyeol met his gaze and stopped his movement. "I've been a bit unfocused. It has nothing to do with you, though." He sighed, "It's this war. The comings was supposed to end it on the day of black sun, but we never fulfilled the convergence."
"I'm sorry... it's my fault." he had done a great deal of that today and he had a feeling he would do more in the future.
"No, it's not. I should have told you about everything first. I was under the impression that you knew all of the details. The legend was wrong, I suppose."
"The legend?"
Chanyeol began to rub Baekhyun's stomach again. "We've only heard theories of The Moon Keeper, we never saw the day you would arrive. No one knew for generations."
Baekhyun's forehead wrinkled, "Generations?"
Chanyeol nodded, "Yeah, we've been waiting quite the time for you."
"Oh..."
"Don't think about it. That's history now."
"But how will the war end without the convergence?" Baekhyun had to ask.
"We'll have to end the war the old fashioned way."
He curved a brow, "How?"
"With battle."
His heart sank a bit, the guilt conspiring to end him. If only he had listened, if only he hadn't been stubborn.
He felt warmth on his head and was brought back to the present by Chanyeol's touch. "I can see that you're overthinking. Just stop and sleep."
Chanyeol didn't have to worry about that because a new sight caught Baekhyun's attention. He narrowed his eyes on the wound scratched over Chanyeol's neck, where he hadn't noticed it before. Sitting up, albeit with a groan or two, he lightly touched the wound.
"Where did this come from?" He asked whilst in observation.
Chanyeol didn't answer until Baekhyun flashed him his glistening eyes. "It was after you blacked out. Minseok had others hiding outside and I didn't see them coming."
Baekhyun frowned and tried to smoothe it over with his fingers. "Can I heal it?"
"Of course, we both can heal each other. But since you have no experience it could take a long time." Chanyeol held his wrist and placed it down gently. "But it's alright, it'll heal on its own."
Baekhyun chewed on the bottom of his lip, unsatisfied. "I want to do something for you. Anything. So let me heal it. We can touch each other the whole night if we have to." When it was out, he realized the words sounded much worse than he thought.
Chanyeol let out a small chuckle and Baekhyun also laughed despite himself. "That sounded much smarter when I thought about it."
"It's okay, I don't mind touching." Chanyeol brought himself to lay down on the extra space by Baekhyun. "Let's just sleep together."
Baekhyun felt the tips of his ears redden as did his cheeks. "Um... is that a good idea?"
"Why not? This way we both completely heal in the morning." He turned to his side and tapped on the spot behind Baekhyun, gesturing for him to come down.

Baekyeol Fanfic Game– The Moon Keeper and The Sun Soilder Part 2
Baekhyun took Chanyeol's hand, but just as he lifted himself up from the dust of the ground, he pushed the man with all of the power he could muster and bolted out of the cave like his life depended on it.
He dashed across the river that separated the two parts of land and submerged himself into the forest that laid beyond the horizon.
He was fast on the ground, jumping over logs and dodging trees that seemed to appear out of no where. Baekhyun felt pebbles and shards of wood pluck into his feet, and that was when he realized he had been shoeless.
He attempted to continue, but the thorns cut deep as they made sure to buffer his stride. Unable to handle it any longer, Baekhyun came to a hault and bent over to rest his weight onto his knees as he took in deep belly breaths at the wild distance he had run.
He then resumed to limp over towards a tree stomp, where he laid back against the edgy bark. In this moment of stillness he received from his surroundings, he plunged it with his thoughts of disarray.
The confusion of where he was and how he got there was too complex in that small head of his, and before he knew it, a giant headache added into the misery.
“Oi, that looks really bad. Let me have a look for you." A voice suddenly came out from the side, and his head turned in an instant to find a man with a bandana wrapped around his forehead, face pulled down in what appeared to be concern.
Baekhyun shook his head, he didn't want another encounter with the people of whatever this place was. "Leave me alone."
The man put his hands up as if in surrender, "Don't worry fella, I live up hill. I know these forests so I come down to see if anyone needs directions. I'm just trying to help out here."
Baekhyun surveyed the man and a soft spot within his ribcage began to uncurl. He had a walking stick with him and looked like a harmless old man, and Baekhyun's foot hadn't stopped bleeding since he stopped, so he decided to nod subtly, accepting the help, but he was definite he would not stay.
The man took him up hill and Baekhyun saw that his house had been similar to a shack. But since he appeared to live alone, it was probably quite fitting.
"Let me grab the Hugentics." The man had said before going into another room. When he came back he had a clear bottle in his hand and napkins in the other. The man removed the cap, and Baekhyun recognized the smell as rubbing alcohol. Hugentics? That's what they called alcohol... here? The thought had been unsettling.
He dabbed the wet napkin onto his wounds and Baekhyun bit his lips at the sting.
"The name's Minseok, in case you were wandering." Minseok revealed, catching Baekhyun off guard. "What do they call you?"
Baekhyun shifted an eye at him for a second before saying anything. He felt a fog go over his head and tried to shake it off with jiggle to his head. "Baekhyun..."
The man let out a laugh, "I think that you're mistaken." His words caused him to narrow his eyes at him, but Minseok went out of focus in the next second. Baekhyun could see four of him. "You are the wretched Moon Keeper. And your day on Asmerti is soon to be over."
He squinted his eyes shut and shook his head another time. What was happening? "W-What did... wh-what did you do?"
"I'm ending the war." Just as the room began to tilt to the side and his vision became blurred, he heard the door slam open and caught a glimpse of it literally flying off of its hinges. He tried to focus on what it had been, and could only make out a man on top of a horse.
"Back away from him or else I will have you whipped before your execution!" The deep voice was back, and Baekhyun didn't know if he had been relieved or even more worried at the sound of it. Chanyeol had been holding what looked like a gun towards Minseok, but Baekhyun couldn't see clearly.
Minseok had a syringe in his hand and the tip of it had been pressed to Baekhyun's leg, any movement could have him as good as dead.
"That's your problem, your greatness." He spoke with smite and sheer contempt. "You think I actually care. My job is to get rid of the one who rules the tide, and I'm not dying until I get the job done." And just like that, Baekhyun gasped as the needle entered him and the gunshot when off. However, instead of a bullet, a flame escaped and caught Minseok by the heart, where it seeped through his skin and had him lying on the floor.
Baekhyun lost all senses as soon as the substance mixed into his bloodstream, and he felt strong arms hold him up as he fell completely back, the world dark and void.
Waking up and not knowing where he was felt like a ritual to Baekhyun. Except this time around he hadn't been in a cave, but a room much, much, much hotter. It felt as if he had been stuffed into an oven to bake.
But the strange thing was that his body hadn't reacted in the decaying manner that it should have. If anything, he sensed the knot in his stomach slowly become looser as time went on, as if he had been regenerating.
He felt arms on his chest and stomach and when it occurred to him to look over to the side, he found a man with glasses and a fixed stare pointed at his stomach area. He moved his hands around him I circular motion, and with each movement, the knot became less of a concern.
"What's... wrong with me?" Baekhyun croaked out, and the man flicked his eyes over at him like he hasn't known he had woken up.
"You've been poisoned, but your healing." He moved his hands around his stomach again, and Baekhyun shivered, ironically. The man noticed and pursed his lips. "You need Chanyeol."
"What?"
"You'll heal more if he's with you. He's your sun, basically your other half."
"N-No." Baekhyun declined like it was by instinct. Seeing Chanyeol again after all that has happened felt mortifing.
"He wouldn't have come in voluntarily anyway." The man snided, which caught Baekhyun's attention. "This is a disaster."
Baekhyun completely ignored the numbing of his feet and hands, "Are they going to try to come back and kill me?"
"I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about you and Chanyeol. He doesn't even want to see you because he thinks you've shunned him. The moon keeper and sun soilder aren't supposed to be like this." He sounded extremely disappointed, and Baekhyun didn't know what to think. This role seemed to have come to him without a consent form, how is he to take it on with no choice?
"Listen, I get that you're afraid, but Chanyeol isn't the one you should hide from. He saved you today. And believe it or not, but you will do the same for him." He put his hands down and Baekhyun felt the cramp in his stomach return. "Talk to him and sort things out. He'll explain everything to you." And with that, he was out of the room.

Pick what you would like to happen next:
1) The next day Baekhyun left the hot room to grab a glass of water. He hoped to come across the healer so he could help him, but instead he found Chanyeol sitting out on the balcony. The healer's words rang into his head and he felt guilty. What had been worse was that he was afraid to make a move, not sure what to even say. "A thank you for saving my life would be nice." He suddenly heard the other man say as he turned to look at him, and Baekhyun trembled as he stood there with utterly shocked eyes. Oh so what? He could read my mind too? "No, but I can sense your heart beat."
2) Baekhyun had wanted to leave the room to use the restroom, but just as he tried to open the door, it suddenly started to quake before he could even touch it. Swiping his hand back, he looked at it as if it was rocket science. "Um, you can open it now." He heard a dim voice say, and realized it had been Chanyeol. Licking his lips, Baekhyun opened the door and found Chanyeol standing a couple feet away from him. "That happens when we're close together... sorry." Baekhyun walked closer to him and held onto his stomach on the way. "Actually... I'm the one who's sorry."

Baekyeol fanfic game – The Moon Keeper and The Sun Soilder
Baekhyun had looked at the eclipse; there was no way around it. He could imagine the fearful expressions everyone would have given him if they weren't hiding in the shields of their home, where windows had been closed so there was no chance of them to even get a peek at the darkened sky. He swallowed the rock in his throat but it was to no avail, his mouth had gone dry.
But what scared him the most was that he wasn't even outside– he was in what he thought to be the safety of his own home. When a light shone down on him from the ceiling in the middle of his living room, and he could see the circular shape of the eclipse stamped to his wall, he knew had made a mistake. The only problem was that he had no idea what it was.
He didn't have time to think about it as the light warmed up his skin, punching him in places where he thought could not shine. The ink of the eclipse on the wall then pointed a ray of not light, but darkness, into his direction. It had been a mix of ebony and creame, the two colors swirling around him in what looked like a tornado.
Baekhyun hugged himself and prepared for the death he knew was going to come, the death that he learned would be the most gruesome death of all.
And just like that, he lost himself to the wind as his mind shut down, his body giving up on him with it.
There had been birds chirping. That was the only sound Baekhyun heard as he blinked his way out of unconsciousness. He squinted as he attempted to adjust to the light before him, and looked around at the area he was in.
When he regained feeling in his hand, he smoothed it over the grimy substance of the ground, and recognized it to be gravel. He lifted his head up and messaged a joint in his neck that started to wake up. He looked at the rocky covering above him and on the curved walls, and began to see that he was inside of a cave.
“Oh, you're awake.” Came a deep voice, walking out of the blinding light of the outside world.
Baekhyun looked at him in question and felt the need to back away as the man got closer. “Who... are you?”
The man sat down beside him and placed the bowl of gems he had been carrying on the ground. "Park Chanyeol."
Baekhyun was still confused, so he elaborated. "What am I doing here? Is this... after life?" He had remembered the swirling of the moon and sun like a tatto imprinted on his mind.
The man let out a suppressed chuckle and picked out a green gem from the bowl on the side. "I think this one suits you. Green for innocence."
Baekhyun thinned his lips, fear crawling it's way into his skin. This man seemed... off. "Can you stop that and answer me?"
"Fine." Chanyeol placed the gem back in the bowl with careful hands. "This isn't afterlife. It's just... another life. You are my moon keeper."
Baekhyun furrowed his brows, "What did you just say? Another life? And what the heck is a moon keeper?"
"I'll explain in due time. We have to prepare for the comings right now."
Baekhyun didn't like this, the vagueness of what seemed to be a pointless conversation. He felt like it was useless to ask at this point, but he did anyway. "What's the comings?"
"It's the convergence of the moon keeper and sun soilder."
"And who's the sun soilder?"
Chanyeol quirked a brow at him. "Me. Now hurry up, it's almost time." He laid his hand out against the air as he waited for Baekhyun to take it, but Baekhyun hadn't been registering anything after moon keeper. Just what has he gotten himself into?
- END -
For the next part, you decide what happens next! You have two choices, chose one and it dictates the start of the next part!
Choice 1) Baekhyun takes his hand and Chanyeol helps him up. They head off and Baekhyun thinks that this blind faith could be what kills him, or saves him.
Choice 2) Baekhyun takes Chanyeol's hand, but just as he lifted himself up from the dust of the ground, he pushed the man and bolted out of the cave like his life depended on it.

Is there anyone online? 'Cause I'm thinking of doing a Baekyeol fanfic game. Who's in?
I'll just write the first part of the story and post 2 different options for the next part and you'll have to pick which one you want and the story would continue with more options. Would anyone play?

Baekhyun would
Play footsie with Chanyeol in secret while he's meeting the parents, and chuckle to himself when Chanyeol starts choking on his words.
