He takes a step back, before sprinting forward, ignoring everything in his path as his vision tunnels dangerously. It seems like only a second before he’s got the villain’s errand boy by the collar, one explosive palm hovering an inch from the man’s head.
“Bakugo! Stop!” Aizawa’s cries fall on deaf ears as Katsuki lets out a threatening pop, trying desperately to hold back whatever is happening inside his chest.
Look, Kacchan! Isn’t it amazing! This little guy was just gone, but I healed him up no problem! I brought him back!
“S–say that again,” Katsuki whispers, his face inches from the villain’s and his voice shaky.

Izuku has a resurrection quirk; he can bring things back from the dead. One year ago, just before he and Katsuki were set to start UA togther, he disappeared, and no one has seen him since. Katsuki, and everyone else, believed him to be dead.
Until now.

“Oh, no, sorry. Not Deku, Izuku,” he replied, looking up to make eye-contact for the briefest moment before glancing everywhere else but him.

What if hero work was a thing of the past and people had to learn to value themselves for more than just a quirk of their genetics? Fluffy university Omegaverse AU in which Deku is a quirkless emo (but we love him), Katsuki is an arrogant preppy tool who’s trying/failing to be better, and the universe just keeps throwing them together. Deku doesn’t mind that one bit.

“I don't know what to do,” he hiccups, pressing his face into Bakugou’s shoulder as he sobs and tugs at his shirt, “what’s happening to me?”
Shouto gets hit with a quirk that prevents him from sleeping and reality as he knows it, crumbles before him.

"No, you should be worrying about him," she says, jutting her chin forward to indicate something behind Kazuo.
As if on cue, a low, echoing growl travels through the halls, and Kazuo feels his heart immediately pick up, beating wildly in his chest and so hard it almost hurts.
