Sorry for my lack of posting my writing. Life is difficult sometimes. For example I have a sprained ankle, a broken toe, I had a fall yesterday and I think I broke my little finger on my left hand and about an hour after my fall I had to go have an injection in my spine to try and get some extra pain relief over Christmas. Oh and I had to have my pet bearded Dragon Euthanised today as she had terminal cancer from a malignant melanoma. And had lost a lot of condition over the last week. It doesn’t sound like a big thing but it was for me. I’ll do my best to get something up soon. Sorry for the whinge I just need to get it out I guess.

Would you consider writing Golly again? I have recently gotten back into the fandom after however many years and your writing was always a favorite of mine. Anyways, thanks for everything you wrote. I’m still enjoying it in 2022, hope you know your effort is appreciated

I am still writing Golly. I just have had a few things going on with my own pain with the damage in my back and my own health, most recent is I need to have an iron infusion cos I’m anemic. My mum had heart surgery to replace a valve last year and my dad is having a stent put in his aorta at the beginning of next month. So I’ve been a bit distracted and very tired which makes writing difficult. I do have enough to post a chapter on both of my current stories and will do my best to get them edited and uploaded as soon as I can. Thanks for asking. Thanks for the praise. Feel free to nag me, I don’t mind. Hope this finds you well.

The fact that AW almost always says Anne's name when she says I love you? The way AL's face and whole being lights up at that? Or when she says "I love Y O U" with so much emphasis on the YOU part, as if she could NEVER phantom loving anyone else. did Mariana even said that? Or was it smth like "oh freddy; I love you so much" like... just ANNE LISTER being loved for her full self, not whatever version they need her to be to deal with their internalized homophobia. Love to see it

a note on the Australian bushfires

just like to spread any awareness i can about the current bushfire crisis in Australia.

Australia has been burning since late September/early November 2019 and over 280 homes have been lost just since New Year’s eve.

in 2019, the Amazon lost 900, 000 hectares of land and California lost 1, 800, 000 hectares of land. Australia has now lost 5, 000, 000 hectares.

almost a third of koalas in NSW alone have been killed, and a total of 500 million animals across Australia have been lost as well.

as far as we know, 20 human lives have been lost, including 2 of our amazing firefighters after their truck caught alight. it has been reported that 28 people are missing.

my heart breaks to see this happening, especially since it could have been prevented or at least delayed if proper actions and provisions had been put into place.

i cannot thank the aussie firefighters enough for putting their lives on the line for all of us. they are so amazing, brave and selfless and deserve so much more than what our Primeminister has promised them.

this is climate change, people. seeing it so close to home has made it even more real, and our right wing politicians continue to deny the issue.
