💎💍🎊 Life Update 🎊💍💎
Hello to all the new adds 🤍
Welcome. I’m not sure how I’m attracting any followers as I’m barely posting right now 😅
I got engaged and then additionally I have taken on other responsibilities in life and at work.
I have more eyeshadow than ever, yet less time to care about makeup 🤷🏻♀️ Eyeshadow is a 10 minute add to my dress routine at minimum & most days it’s not a priority.
🎥 I do want to make a video talking about the makeup overconsumption trend, but that will likely happen next year.

🙆🏻♀️ Challenge Fail Update 🙆🏻♀️
Okay… so I’m still struggling to remember to take pictures of my makeup looks, hence the in-bed-irritated look 🫠
And I’m struggling to decide if I should toss my Morphe 35XO & Milani Gilded Twilight palette 🎨 This is the reason I wanted to attempt the eyeshadow challenge in the first place. It was an effort to discover what I really used and didn’t use. I also wanted to cultivate a reason to discuss excessive spending on makeup.
I’ve found the two palettes mentioned are the two I have the least desire to use, and I have so much other, better, palettes to use that I don’t have much of a natural inclination to reach for them.
And, I don’t believe in keeping stuff not in use. Some people’s coping mechanism to deal with the guilt of contributing to environmental concerns related landfills and waste is to just turn their homes into landfills 🙄. That’s not a solution.
So the question is have I learned anything from this? 🐘

Liking the greens more than expected.
Manifest This collection from Colourpop is a much better quality than expected, and “New Money” palette is beautiful. Especially like ATM & So LUXE; pics don’t give them justice

One insight I have learned is I hate wearing mascara every day… it’s just an annoying product to take off… I do wonder if I’m the only normie girl who feels this way 🤷🏻♀️

CHALLENGE FAIL UPDATE - “All My Eyeshadows In A Year”.
So, *challenge fail* is the decision I made. Ran into a few problems..
1. My face already has acne issues and can be easily irritated, especially when pms-ing. Wearing makeup more often did not help -
2. I’m home most of the time [right now] and don’t have much of a reason to wear makeup everyday.
3. I keep forgetting to take photos of my makeup. I don’t know if this is a big deal, as likely no one will care, but the original point was to document what I used.
I am however going to document what I can this year, for a likely Failed Challenge video. I learned a lot from failing this challenge, and be curious what others would have to say.
So I will document to my best what makeup I wear and insights I gain.

No makeup days on 1-11-23 & 1-12-23
I have 314 individual eyeshadows, and I am including 6 Colourpop supershock shadows. That gives me 51 “days off”, which equates to about 4 days a month.
I’m glad I have that time, as it is desirable to give you’re eyelids a rest at times. I’m really not sure how healthy it is to have makeup on your face everyday 🤷🏻♀️
