People pleaser poem

Pleasing people is an art, A skill that comes from deep in the heart, To make others happy is a noble task, But what if your own happiness is masked?

You give and give, but never receive, Your own desires you must deceive, For fear of causing others pain, And so your own needs remain in vain.

You try your best to please them all, But still you find yourself in a crawl, For all your efforts, they never seem enough, And you're left feeling empty and rough.

Why is it that you can't be pleased, When you give them everything you need, Is it because you hold yourself to a higher standard, Or because they simply take you for granted?

It's time to break this cycle and see, That you deserve to be happy and free, To find a way to balance give and take, And to not let others make you feel like a fake.

So don't forget to please yourself, and take care of your own mental health, for only then can you truly shine, and find the happiness that's always been inside.

I love animation

Over the last 10 years the animation in media has gotten really good in terms of story, characters, world building, and etc. For example, shows like amphibia where your introduced to the main character Anne Boonchuy who ends up in a world of talking frogs and she meets the planter family in which they go on adventures but as you watch the show it goes from a the characters having fun to them having to save the very thing they care about and it is one of the many shows that made you feel for the characters, had you fully immersed with the world, and had you wanting more it is a really well written show like I was laughing, crying, and screaming with excitement and I'm really sad that it's over, then there are others like the owl house, gravity falls, she-ra, arcane, kipo, and plenty more that are people should enjoy. Finally, all I'm trying to say is animation has helped me these years I have fallen in love with many characters, saw myself in them and felt understood and represented like the show craig of the creek which has a black main character which has him and his friends go play at the creek and you just see kids being kids playing with each other and it's just so well made and you know the writers put so much love put into the show and I hope more people watch it makes you feel like a kid again.

They don't care about us

Since the age of 10 I have learned as a darkskin black women living in America that people ranging from white people to police to even other black people in the community that I don't matter because I'm a darkskin black women. For example, for white people I'm aggressive and I'm loud, and I'm too educated for my own good or they will tell me I talk really good which to them means I don't talk like other black people. For police they don't care what happens to me like they will see me in trouble needing help and they would either leave, arrest, or even kill me because I'm black and For black men I'm too independent because to them I need them because I'm a woman or there is the other thing that they might not even want me because I'm darkskin because to them I'm too dark and not the right color for them to date me. Finally, we have the government who because I'm a woman they want to take my rights away to if I want kids or not because white people are afraid because their birth numbers are going down and they want to force woman to have kids because they think it's our job as women to make babies. And there are many more things that I have learned as black woman living in America which is scary, I just want to enjoy my life not be scared from either getting killed from the police or white people and not be scared from losing my rights as a women.

When Hollywood doesn't listen

When people in Hollywood make a movie based on video games, books, comics, and plenty more and they don't like to listen to the fans so here are two examples of Hollywood listening and not listening to fans, First example of them not listening to fans is when Hollywood has announced that they were doing a wonder twins movie and if you don't know who are the wonder twins they are a sibling-superhero duo joined together to activate their powers in which throughout shows and comics they have looked to be Asian but when they announced the movie being made they cast KJ Apa(Riverdale) and Isabel May(Alexa and Katie) who are white actors and fans are not ok with their casting choices which has been a known problem in Hollywood from them casting a light skin black women for a characters who is known to be a dark skin women or when they are trying to please people by saying they are casting a black actress, then there is the other thing when Hollywood says that people don't want to see movies where there is an all-black or all asian cast which they are wrong because movies ranging from black panther, shang-chi, crazy rich asians, the harder they fall, get out, candyman, and plenty more movies that prove this rumor wrong. So now here are examples of Hollywood listening to the fans first up is we all know it's sonic the hedgehog movie when the first trailer came out fans were outraged on how they made sonic look and for good reason it looked like a grown man in a sonic costume, and it was really terrifying s what did people making the movie do they listened to the fans removed the trailer and went back to fix it and look what we got now a really amazing film that was a love letter to the fans of sonic and it made tons of money in the box office and it got a sequel which is also doing very well and there are probably more movies that listened to its fans. All I'm trying to say is if Hollywood stopped being so annoying and listen to the people then maybe we would get better content and it would help open a lot of doors for people of all kinds.
