The internet is flooded with AI-generated photos and they're getting harder to spot.

Most of the time AI is used for click-farming, but lately images have been used in fake news stories and product scams.

Most important: THINK CRITICALLY. AI will eventually get too good to make obvious mistakes. Being media literate means checking not just if an image is real, but if the source is trustworthy.

If you're not sure, don't share! You might be spreading misinformation.

HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY FINAL FANTASY VI!

Words cannot describe how much I love this game, or how much of an influence it has been on me and my art.

I made these drawings 2 years ago after I finished the pixel remaster. My plan was to draw the entire party, and I still plan on doing so, but got sidetracked and the project ended up in the backburner for now.

Between her appearance in X-Men '97 as one of Morph's transformations, and her presence in that new game, it was a great day for being a Magik fan.

A.I. photos are flooding social media and contributing to an Internet where we can't believe what we see. Spotting A.I. 📷s is an important media literacy skill.

None of us have time to research every image we see. We just need people to notice BEFORE THEY LIKE OR SHARE that an image might be fake. If unsure, check it or don't share.

I've started drawing some comics explaining the basic of AI spot-checking and media literacy in the age of disinformation. Follow along here or on my Twitter.

Hey, fellow art peeps, how y'all been dealing with the whole tumblr selling our data to train ai fiasco?

Have you been uploading still or stopped doing it, or went somewhere else?

I haven't actually drawn that much ever seen -a mix of creative block and the release of FF7 Rebirth-, but the few things I've drawn ever since I've only uploaded to cohost an instagram, which in my case are most limited in scope.

Meanwhile, I'm still debating whether to keep posting new stuff here or not. Somedays I want to do it still despite everything, others I don't want to have anything more to do with tumblr.
