rewatching my comfort show, how i met your mother and i don't understand why lily seems antagonized for trying to pursue her dreams.

first time i ever watched the show, i like her. i like her struggles and how relatable she was and how she overcame her bad days. i was so surprised to find out that a lot of people actually dislike her character, naming her and barney the two worst among their group. the thing is, her and barney's story is always great to rewatch; that moment she was crying because she thinks being a mom means it's too late to be anything anymore. the way barney pours his heart out to his father while he tries to take the basketball hoop.

seriously, they both have the best character developments and story arcs in my opinion (ignoring what the finale did).
