My opinion of this is that the Patterson-Gimlin film at first was probably a fake but as time has gone on its the only Bigfoot footage that stands up today as people are not clear on whether its exactly is legitimate or hoaxed?
Especially with the upgrade in the footage being digitized and the special advancements that have been made on it. Plus I always thought Bluff Creek, California, was kind of hard to get to so it would have been kind of hard for somebody to go in and possibly fake it!!!

Love being outdoors, on the water, in the sun! Speed is my passion. It lets me turn off my brain, say fuck off to any distractions, and just live my best life. Hell yeah.

Cryptid of the Week: Bigfoot
Everyone knows Bigfoot, right?
Big, covered in fur, large feet.
The most famous video evidence (The Patterson-Gimlin film) hasn't been authenticated or debunked, but despite the multiple print casts and 'bio'-evidence, there has never been any actual evidence that Bigfoot exists.
More than likely, people are seeing bears or apes and mistaking them for Bigfoot. Another thought-- a hunter in a ghillie suit might also be mistaken for a Bigfoot.
Fun fact: during the shooting of star wars, Peter Mayhew (acting as Chewbacca) couldn't be left alone during forest scenes because they were afraid he'd be mistaken for a Bigfoot and shot.
Still, it's fun to imagine that Bigfoot might be out there somewhere
