Cat and Dog – Sunwon Drabble part 2

All they did was to exhaust me, All I did was to understand them. After dad's death, we became a mess. They handed over to me the responsibility on that stupid company and expected me to do only good for just 6 months? Nonsense.
I get that they're having a hard time in their life but what about me? How about me? Can't they understand me, too?
How does the sky calm me yet scare me at the same time? There's something in it. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a purring sound. I looked side by side and I found a yellow cat who's looking directly at the sky like I was.
"Are you sad too, kitty?" I whispered while looking at the cat. It meowed.
"Oh you answered.. you understand it.." The cat looked at me with such sadness.. sadness it is.
"Can I have you?" I uttered out of nowhere.
To my surprise, someone spoke in my mind.
"Just call my name, I'm yours to tame."
5:55 am, walking at the park alone in quiet surroundings. I woke up early just to take a walk, I looked at the morning sky and breathed the fresh air I've been wanting for awhile.
My life has been very toxic since I was young.
I sat on a bench and relaxed my body. I did not notice the dog sitting beside me.
'Why is he looking at the sky?' I did the same and I turned my gaze back to it and..it is now looking at me..
"Your eyes are strange, puppy. You must be sad."
"Can I take you with me?" I'm sorry to your owner, but I want you.
I flinched when I heard a familiar voice in my head. So familiar yet I don't have any idea when or where I heard it.
"Just call my name, I'm yours to tame."

Cat and Dog – Sunwon Drabble

"What do you want to be in your next life?"
Asked by the younger, looking at his once in a lifetime dream come true who's now looking dazedly at the nearly morning sky.
"Next life? Anything as long as I'm capable of loving you." The older then looked at him with a fond smile on his face, nearly giggling.
"What if I can't love you the way you love me?" Sunoo pouted that made Jungwon laugh
"Oh.. It stings here just by hearing it. Will you let the universe?"
"I won't but who knows..." Jungwon intertwined their hands and held it tightly as if anytime someone would take it away from him.
"My heart knows. Are you doubting.. us?" Jungwon saw a glimpse of sadness in Sunoo's eyes.
"No, my love. I will never doubt us. The universe, I know how cruel it is."
"Let it be, if it's really us, then be us."
Silence filled the surroundings, the lovers are now deep in thought.
"Have I told you how much I love you?" Sunoo then spoke, facing the younger. Jungwon tilted and shook his head before uttering a word.
"You don't, you only say I love you but not how much you do."
"I need you like a heart needs a beat." Sunoo held Jungwon's hand and placed it on his chest.
"I read somewhere saying 'the love we give away is the only love we keep-by benefiting another you benefit yourself.' That's why I'm giving my all to you." Out of nowhere, they laughed and found their situation funny.
"Jungwon, to answer your question correctly I wanna be a dog."
"Why is that?"
"Because you adore them. You see, dogs are loyal too. So am I."
"Then I wanna be a cat." Jungwon proudly spoke that made the older wonder.
"Dogs and cats are enemies though?"
"Then let's be the first dog and cat to love each other, be lovers." Jungwon smiled and he brought his face closer to sunoo's until their noses touched.
"Turning backs don't exist on us.. So shall we?" Jungwon sobs between his words. Sunoo nodded.
"My puppy, let's meet again.." Sunoo forced a smile
"We will meet again." For the last time in this lifetime, they kissed as they fell from a cliff into the abyss of the ocean.
Happy ever after doesn't exist. Happy endings might be possible but it's definitely not for everyone. Not for them.

Heesun Open-ending Prompt

"I wanna be an angel!" said the little girl. Just like a usual kindergarten school, a cheerful environment with so many cute faces, kiddy things can be seen everywhere, colorful rooms and art on the walls.
"But you already are.." A little boy with huge eyeglasses said but looks like nobody has heard him except for Navin. A literal angel who lost his wings has been roaming around on earth for almost 25 years, like a lonely ghost he cannot talk to anyone, no one can see him. He doesn't know how or what was the purpose of him staying like this. The only thing he remembered is a conversation between two guys.
"Want to challenge the world?"
"huh?" how?"
"Be an angel in your next life and I'll be a human. Let's find our way to each other."
"So we'll spend a whole lifetime finding each other but we can't be together? what a waste of time.."
"It's not, it will be worth it because in the end we will meet… I'm sure we will. You can forget anything but us."
His thoughts were interrupted when someone spoke his name.
"Navin…" The moment he spoke, everything became clear.. and surprisingly his knees got weak which is something he never felt before.
"It's you. That's you.." the guy said, which made Navin's heart clenched.

"Once upon a time, hurting dumb people is my hobby. Knives are what I am always excited about when holding. I would play it with any stupid human being I would encounter, but there's this someone I played my knife with, I remember stabbing him atleast once in a month for the reason he annoys the shit out of me."
"But then he became my favorite playmate despite being too innocent... no, he's just really stupid, and now it hurts my ego to say this but I am in love with him—" Sunoo got interrupted by the sudden voice.
"Babe! Why is Dora asking me weird questions?! Is she dumb??" Heeseung exclaimed but then he got shocked by the sight of Sunoo, who's already taking off his clothes.
"How the fuck did I become this kind of person??!! I HATE THAT I LOVE YOU!!" Sunoo bursted out then attacks Heeseung with an aggressive kiss.

Heeseung loved Sunoo since they were in 8th grade until now, but Sunoo never showed any interest towards Heeseung's feelings and even hated him for unknown reasons. One night the older man is walking on his way home, eyes on the phone. Sunoo smirks then gets out from the dark corner he's been hiding. Heeseung stops and smiles like a weirdo, creating fake scenarios in his head. Suddenly, Sunoo took out the knife he was holding and stabbed heeseung once.
"So are we flirting right now?" Heeseung uttered in pain but a smile didn't leave his lips.
"I AM LITERALLY STABBING YOU!!" Said Sunoo, who's now in disbelief, he pulled the knife from the older's stomach.
"That doesn’t answer my question!!"

Sunwon Drabble
Reminiscing their memories together, Sunoo and Jungwon used to watch the night sky. Hoping for a single shooting star to line the sky above them. That's their favorite thing to do, Jungwon sneaking in the middle of the night just to go to his lover's place, he would throw a small piece of rock on Sunoo's window for a sign that he has arrived, then after that Sunoo will go outside straight to their garden and take a ladder with him. Facing Jungwon with an exciting smile.
The roof, their home. Own home, funny how an outdoor place can be a home for somebody. They would always smile, and laugh… and cry… and sleep… and argue at their home.
You can hear their giggles after successfully climbing up, and release a relief sigh at the same time and they'd both look at each other for a second then laugh. Jungwon sat on Sunoo's lap; facing each other, then hugged the older. He smiled as he smelled a certain perfume he told Sunoo to wear. A gift for his lover. On the other hand, Sunoo caresses Jungwon's hair as he hums a familiar tone of a song.
"Babe! shit! a shooting star!!" Sunoo's suddenly burst out, but Jungwon remains calm, he close his eyes and prayed. Sunoo calmed himself and did the same thing.
They're no longer together. They can no longer do the things they used to love doing together.
"You lied. You never saw one. The wish was invalid." Jungwon whispers in the cold air. Lying down on the roof they shared memories with. Sunoo became his first, but Jungwon became Sunoo's first and last.
"You're my first, babe. My first and still." For a moment, he stares at the sky and a single shooting star crosses above. He smiled, but a visible pain was seen.
"A miracle, come back to me." Faint laugh, found his wish so ridiculous. He sighed as he fell asleep.
