With is a Leaf/icewing, she’s grumpy and aggressive to anyone who isn’t her father, she breathes a frosty mist which is just as bad as normal frostbreath, she lives with her father out in the tundra of the ice kingdom, they live there in a lodge preferring to stay away from the rest of the population.

Grovestalker (whose name is inspired by a species of drake from my story) is a Leaf/Nightwing, he lives on Pantala with his parents, he spends most of his time, well, staking through the brush with his mother and sketching plants and flowers. He is usually calm but tends to be straightforward which is sometimes intended to be mean.

Trench is a Sea/Nightwing, most dragons are scared of him considering his large stature and odd voice which sounds more like a whisper yet also find him beautiful. But he’s actually really kind and helpful but not a coward, he stands for what he believes in and has a good relationship with both his mother and father, his father, Pleasence, has always encouraged his son to be kind and compassionate towards other dragons, his mother Cascade taught him to never let anyone tell him he’s not loved.

Even more Boys!

Ghoul is a Night/Icewing, both he and his twin sister are strong mindreaders and Animi, they are always together and prefer to keep to themselves. He’s intelligent, determined and calculating, he’s cold but speaks much softer to his sister.

Prince Borealis is an Icewing, he’s calm collected and clever, the former Queen, his mother, passed when his sister was only a hatchling which resulted in him having to take over as leader of the tribe until she was about 2 years, still young but he was right there to help her, he’s the one who raised his sister and he cares about nothing other than the wellbeing of her.

King Tidepool is a Seawing, he’s kind and good natured, he loves his family dearly, each pearl on his armband represents one of his 3 dragonets he had with Queen Chasm, Prince Vortex, Princess Maelstrom and Prince Current. He spends as much time with his dragonets as possible, Current often even stays with his father, sleeping on his back.

Kelp or Kelpie is a Leaf/Seawing hybrid who dwells near Pantalas coast, his mother was a Leafwing botanist and his dad a Seawing explorer. He’s cocky and an asshole most of the time, he’s the combination of mean and attractive. Will possibly attend the academy.

Wingloss is a Sandiwng who hatched without wings, his parents abandoned him because of it, he however met his future wife in the sandwing army and she was the most loyal dragon he’d ever known unfortunately shortly after laying their egg she passed due to an illness and then it was just him and his daughter Ray who later got pregnant by a bandit who turned out to be an asshole so her father helped her raise her daughter Sunrise.

And King Swamp, consort to Queen Mahogany and father of Morass, Moor, Auburn, Bayou and Tawny. He’s calm and very kind, he loves to eat, he likes listening to his wife talk and has supported all her ideas. Unlike most Mudwings him and his wife care greatly about their dragonets.

Some (new?) Male wof ocs, they’ve got nothing to do it’s the story I’ve abandoned, but I’d say these guys also life like maybe 6000 years after the main wof storyline.

Canyon is a Sandwing bandit, he’s cocky, clever and overall pretty good at what he does.

Sawfly is a Hivewing Prince, he’s arrogant and mean, though he loves his older sister, Sirex, very much and would do anything to keep her safe.

Maelstrom is a Seawing noble, he’s extroverted and smug, he’s had more girlfriends than he himself has kept count of.

Nightfall is a Nightwing student, he is observant and clever and sometimes a bit of a know-it-all, he’s very close with his father, who is a nightwing General.

Hibiscus is a Rainwing healer's apprentice, he is very friendly and calm, everyone is pretty sure he’s never been mad in his life, he agrees.

Garnet is a Skywing noble, he’s mean and egotistical at times times but completely calm and kind towards his blind younger sister Spinel.

Violet is a Silkwing, Tailor/Seamster in the Lilac Hive (previously Jewel Hive), he’s kind and softspoken, he loves what he does and is very proud of it.

Copper is a Mudwing Sculpter and Potter, he is kind and likes to help where he can, he hatched from a blood-red egg and has 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Alder is a Leafwing mercenary, he is impulsive and reckless, the jewel around his neck is a gift from his mother whom he loves dearly.

North is an Icewing noble, he is Prideful above all else, but he is also very knowledgeable in all kind of things.

Three generations!

Redmaw, is an elder female Flamereaper. Redmaw is a grumpy old grandma, she’s been bonded to her rider since her hatching, she’s affectionate with her rider and his immediate family.

Deatheater is an adult male Flamereaper. Deatheater is a very aggressive, especially for a male, but he’s very affectionate with his rider and her daughter.

Soulkiller is a young adult Frost/Flamereaper hybrid. Soulkiller is very dangerous and powerful but essentially still a hatchling at heart, cuddling with his rider.

Just so you know, you might want to change Metis's name, cus uh, The Metis are an Indigenous people of Canada.

While that, in fact, is true it is also the name of a Greek mythological figure.

Metis (/ˈmiːtɪs/; Ancient Greek: Μῆτις, romanized: Mêtis, lit. 'wisdom', 'skill', or 'craft'), in ancient Greek religion and mythology, was one of the Oceanids. She is notable for being the first wife and advisor of Zeus, the King of the Gods.

She is also sometimes described as Athena’s mother. And all my characters are named after Greek and Norse mythological figures.

Here’s my human ocs of my Souls of War story (the dragonrider story) as Wof dragons.

Metis Ardor and Ymir are the parents of Hel, in my story Ymir is part of the ice dragonrider family and Metis is part of the fire one, they had Hel accidentally when they were still teenagers.

Metis is a Sky (obvi) and nightwing cuz she has black hair and her Wyvern has black scales. She has a fiery temperament, but loves her family.

Ymir is an icewing which is also self-explanatory. He is kind and loving, a very good father.

Hel Ardor-Duratus, daughter of Ymir and Metis, she’s a skilled fighter, likes to sketch and eat. Shes obviously a Sky/Ice/night. Shes one of the 2 Main characters of Souls of War.

Themis and Chronos Ardor are twins, They are Sky/nightswings, Ardor are the fire dragonrider family, hence Sky, night because Chronos has black hair and their dragons have both black scales here and there. Themis is the younger twin and she is much more introverted than her brother. They are Hels cousins.

Pyrrha is special, in my story both her and her dragon are flameborns which translates best into firescales, so Skywing. She’s related to Hel, Metis and the twins.

Gwendolyn Duratus is related to Ymir but just calls him uncle, she is very short so she’s a small icewing. I love lil Gwenny.

Styx Ardor is also related to the twins, Hel, Metis and Pyrrha. When she was young she had her throat slit which never healed correctly so now speaking more than a few words is uncomfortable for her and her voice sounds off, like a persistent whisper. She has black hair hence the nightwing blood, the sky is obvious.

Dione Duratus is Ymir’s mother. Once again, obviously she is an Icewing. She is kind and thoughtful.

Hades Ardor, is Metis' father, he is very loving towards his daughter and was very worried for her during her pregnancy (in the Ardor family exists a genetic condition which causes a deformity of the womb, usually resulting in either the death of the child or mother or both during birth if a miscarriage hasn’t occurred) but was delighted to have a grandchild. He is a Skywing for obvious reasons.

Aquilo and his elder sister Skadi, their father is a Duratus (he’s this century’s Frostborn) and their mother rides a night/Bloodreaper hybrid (Bloodreapers have frills) so Ice/night/Rainwing hybrids, their mother being the night/Rainwing hybrid. Their parents are loving and Skadi adores her lil brother and he likes nothing more than spending time with his sister.

If you take any significant inspiration from these designs for your own please credit me, these are important to me even if this isn’t their original design as they are human.

The eldest Duratus Wyverns!

Starting off with Northwind "The Old King" whose almost 200 years old! His rider unfortunately passed about 30 years ago and now he simply lounges about the mountain range near the Duratus castle. He is still often visited by the Duratus family and the townsfolk, they often spend time just near him just to talk to him, often referring to him as the best listener for one’s problems.

Next is Glacier, "The Frost Titan", a Hail/Frostreaper hybrid she is Northwind's half-sister, her rider is Ullr Duratus, Hebe's younger brother and current eldest member of the family. Glacier anlog her rider and family have protected the continent for almost 100 years and continue to do so. She is also much more docile yet just as stoic as all Ice elemental dragons are.

And lastly Crystalline. She’s a pureblood Mistresper, even in her old age she is still elegant just like her rider Eilithyia Duratus, cousin to Ullr and Hebe.Crystalline has guarded the land alongside Northwind and Glacier for about 80 years now and still patrols the borders with her rider to this day.
