What if when Miles threw the gun, the shot killed MVK instead of just hitting his shoulder and so Gregory adopted Franziska rather than MVK adopting Miles

Revenge? No, I prefer to call it Justice
15 years earlier, after the murder trial
Cold, gloomy afternoon, Polly Jenkins stood alone in her late fiance’s grave as she held his cap close to her chest. Yanni Yogi was a victim of murder as he was found dead in the Defense Lobby room No.1. The case hit a dead-end as there was hardly any new evidence and witnesses to point out the true killer of this gruesome act, and the accused, Philip Rewind, who was also a court bailiff was found not guilty as his Defense Attorney Robert Hammond got him acquitted.
“Hello, my dear,” Polly expressed somberly, “I bring you the unfortunate news that your killer was found not guilty.” She quietly laughs. “What kind of justice is that? It was a huge slap in the face… that pompous of a defense attorney, Mr. Hammond, what a joke.”
Ms. Polly Jenkins proceeded to explain every detail that happened in the courtroom as she wailed in anger, refusing to accept the verdict that was handed out; her emotions became a mixture of anguish and resentment. All she could think about was how to get back at the people who failed Yanni Yogi by letting the murderer walk away freely.
“Don’t worry, Yanni,” Polly finally said, looking away from the tombstone. “I promise I will get those who failed to bring down the culprit.” She paused, then said, as her voice became bitter, “Robert… you will pay for this. I’ll make sure you’ll never forget the DC-28 case.”
Note: In case you all are wondering what DC-28 stands for, it's an acronym for District Court 28 since the incident happened on December 28th. I thought this fanmade incident seemed very clever.
Another note: I had an original version of this snippet, but I um scrapped it because I guess I didn't like it or I didn't see where I was going with it. Plus, the original idea was I came up where it was a double murder where the victim is not only Yanni Yogi but also a made-up character I made named Prosecutor John Doe. As for Philip Rewind, I did think about having his career as a Court Clerk but changed it to bailiff instead. (Trying my hardest not to butcher the character's personality)

The final battle between long-time rivals
Prosecutor von Karma: It’s been a long time, Gregory Edgeworth. I would never have anticipated that a veteran defense attorney accused of murder, but I hope you are ready because I will make sure I get my guilty verdict after all. Your life is in your children’s hands.
Tumblr media
Gregory Edgeworth: (........)
Tumblr media
Prosecutor von Karma: Nothing to say? Well, that’s to be expected from you. Let’s put your son Miles to the test to see if he’s worthy enough to defend his client, his father, no less. It’s quite a shame that your sons will witness your greatest downfall in history.
Tumblr media
Gregory Edgeworth is the defendant
Manfred von Karma has been waiting for 15 long years to get his perfect revenge
the dialogue is one of my ideas since Manfred and Gregory are long-time rivals

Tragic truth (a small snippet of an alternate Turnabout, Goodbye scenario for Ace Attorney: Turnabout Horizon)
“ENOUGH!!”
The courtroom went silent.
“I have fulfilled my promise that I made 15 years ago; it’s over.” The strange older woman uttered as she stood up from the courtroom chair.
“Wretched woman, what are you doing?!”
She stared at the prosecutor and then looked at the judge. “It’s just what those two young lads stated. My real name is indeed Polly Jenkins.”
Polly Jenkins replaced Yanni Yogi
Gregory Edgeworth replaced Miles Edgeworth as the accused
Yanni Yogi (deceased) (it will be explained in the story soon enough)
Phoenix Wright Co-counselor
These are the ideas that I came up with for the story so far, including the dialogue.

At long last, I have finished Ace Attorney: Investigation 2! Man, what a wild ride it has been since I first bought it about a month ago. The story, along with the characters and plot twist of the final case, was so freaking good. And now the game has come to a close until the next time I ever decided to replay it again. With that being said, I shall catch up on the anime that I still need to finish, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. When I get done with the anime, it's off to the next Ace Attorney series: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles!

Info dumping for Ace Attorney AU: Turnabout Horizon (Will update sooner or later)
Tumblr media
Okay, this AU is a canon diversion from the original timeline of Ace Attorney. Here's why:
Gregory Edgeworth lives, so the DL-6 case doesn't exist. Why? In the original timeline, Miles Edgeworth suffered a lot of guilt and trauma during the incident, so he never got a chance to live his dreams of being a defense attorney like his father; instead, he became a prosecutor. So, in the canon diversion, Gregory takes the stairs instead of the elevator.
In Turnabout Horizon, is Phoenix Wright, a brother to Miles Edgeworth? If so, why?
Well, I always see Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth as brothers, even on my first playthrough in the Ace Attorney series. Their connection is more like a bromance or platonic relationship. So, in this story, Phoenix Wright gets adopted by Miles's father, Gregory Edgeworth, and the two kiddos become officially brothers.
Are there going to be changes in the roles of each Ace Attorney Characters?
To be frank, I'm still working on that part, but I'll get back to that question once I have the ideas planned out. I do, however, consider having Raymond Shields as a co-counselor during Miles's first trial because I love Uncle Ray's personality; other than that, I have yet to go much further.
Does Phoenix have any scars?
In the matter of fact, he does! During the trial, when Phoenix refused to believe that his "Dollie" was the true culprit behind the murder of Doug Swallow and plotting to kill him as well, he made a public outburst and ran off. To make a story short, he ate the necklace, leaving a nasty scar on his lips, which is a sad reminder of how painful truth can be to a person.
Are there going to be plot changes as well, For Example, Will Manfred get a penalty or not? If so, will he get his revenge?
But of course! My good friend had a very interesting suggestion that even though Manfred still gets a penalty on his records during Jeff Master's trial, the man wouldn't just walk away in silence. He's too petty for that; after all, his perfect record was tainted, so obviously, he'll still plot his revenge despite the fact that Gregory took the stairs instead of the elevator.

Content Warning: Emotional abuse
When reality hits Phoenix, he decides to excuse himself from his father and brother by hiding in the bathroom stalls to reflect on what just happened during the trial, and those cruel words from Dahlia still linger in his mind.
Note: I know the college Feenie wears a pink sweater that Iris made, but I couldn't do it on Gacha, so I came up with this design instead.

Ace Attorney: Turnabout Horizon coming soon (if not later)
Okay, I've been thinking long and hard about what Ace Attorney fic I should write, and I came up with a title called Ace Attorney: Turnabout Horizon. It's a canon-diversion au where Gregory Edgeworth lives by NOT taking the elevator. I have yet to come up with more details because I'm still figuring out the plots for the story and trying to place which characters go where. I already know that Miles Edgeworth will pursue his dream of becoming a Defence Attorney like his father. Then there's Phoenix's dream career...I am still determining what I want his career choice to be in the story, so that's something to think over. Oh, and I probably get a very disappointed reaction from Ace Attorney fans who ship Phoenix and Edgeworth, but I *hold my shields for defense* I see them as brothers, so in this story, Pheonix is an adopted brother to Miles Edgeworth...sorry for the unwanted announcement.

When your client, who is your adopted son, gets accused of murder, and he tells you that he ate the necklace.
"Mr. Wright, where's the necklace?!" Gregory asked while turning his head at his client with a concerned expression.
"........."
( He's hiding something..... I have to know what he did with the necklace that Dahlia gave to him.)
"Mr. Wright, please, I need to know what you've done with the" Gregory's eyes widen as he catches a glimpse of a color red from Phoenix's face mask. "Is that a blood stain coming from your surgical mask?!"
Phoenix quivered in shame as his eyes were blurry from all the crying from what his "Dolly" had said to him in front of the entire court, so he unveiled his mouth... it's covered with a nasty scar...blood is still dripping from his lips.
"MR. WRIGHT! What did you do?!?" Gregory shrieked in horror as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Looking at his client, his son, in pure terror, knowing there was a slim chance that Phoenix might suffer the same fate as Terry Fawles.
"I'm so sorry, Dad...." Phoenix said quietly.
.
.
.
"I...I ate the necklace."
Note: I only wrote this for fun, and I am not sure if this scene will happen since the DL-6 doesn't transpire, so again, I wrote it to see how it turns out.

When Detective Badd witnesses some random kid eating a piece of paper in front of him, the defense attorney tells him not to be too concerned about it since it's a strange habit. Just his shocking reaction was too funny to pass up.
Again, sorry for the bad quality of the photo. I used my phone to take a picture.
