I'm a different person from the asker you said to in an answer "all of them are around the 2500s in terms of when they were submitted so itā€™s gonna be a long time." but it made me curious,
Does this mean there are 2500 characters ahead of them in the queue, and it will be more than 625 days (20 months) before its posted? (if I did the math right O_O ) Are these posts in the queue, or submissions in a spreadsheet, including duplicate submissions and rejected submissions? (just assuming in that big a number, there'll be duplicate submissions, though I do not know how big a factor that is)
Also how do you deal with duplicate submissions, if they have different disabilities attributed to them (like for a character with valid comorbidities), do you merge them? or just pick the one submitted first?
You don't have to answer all this ofc I'm just very curious of the timeline and structures of this system, thank you if you answer
Guess what: I will answer all of this plus probably put in bonus information.
1.) So when I said in the 2500s in terms of when they were submitted I mean their submission number in the google form. So that doesnā€™t account for duplicates and characters that have already been posted, itā€™s just easier to use those numbers then go and eyeball our other spreadsheet. Technically due to the fact that our queue is a mess when a character was submitted has pretty much nothing to do with when they are posted. We try to get earlier submissions but also like to mix it up/a variety of other factors. We donā€™t actually have a queue beyond like a couple days out max because I donā€™t have the capability to make posts really far in advance, so itā€™s all just kinda vibing in various spreadsheets.
1.5.) Upon eyeballing the other spreadsheet we have around 1700-1900 characters submitted. (There are 3048 submissions in the google form) Of those 355 have already run, so around 1345-1545 characters to post. At our posting rate (which is a mess, sorry) that puts us around about a queue of a year.
2.) Regarding duplicate submissions, if they have different disabilities we tend to do a few things. I will generally cross reference the submissions and look at the wiki and then figure out what their disability should be listed as. I do trend towards the side of sometimes leaving stuff out, but thatā€™s usually because itā€™s hard to find clear sources when youā€™re not wanting to do a 30 minute deep dive into a piece of media youā€™ve never heard of before.

Have Doctor Who characters been submitted?
Yes, weā€™ve run Shirley Ann Bingham, Hebe Harrison, and Ryan Sinclair. The First Doctor, Hanne, The Doctor (are there not multiple doctors?), The Master, Diane Curtis, and The Eleventh Doctor (fun fact, he was the 3000th google form submission) have all been submitted. (Extra fun fact: the majority of Doctor Who submissions were for Shirley Ann Bingham and Ryan Sinclair)

Btw, I realised I should clarify only after I hit submit. I just submitted a german TV character and I realise now everything in that submission sounds like a joke submission to someone who doesn't know him but I swear to you he's 100% real and I am 100% serious in submitting him. (I was rewatching an episode of one of the shows he was in, an older one I used to watch as a kid, and his friends were saying stuff that now, after decades of living as a disabled person, made me realise: wait, this is just ableism isn't it)
Donā€™t worry, we didnā€™t think it was a joke submission. (I honestly donā€™t comprehend the google form submissions enough to be like hmm sounds fake)

this is a spoiler for like a dragon: infinite wealth, so maybe don't post/tag it accordingly, but i saw that eiji mitamura had been submitted and he is not actually disabled. (he was thought to be from promotional material for the game, but he is not.)
Thanks for pointing that out! 99% of the time when I answer who has been submitted I go off of the main database where the characters havenā€™t been checked so sometimes thereā€™s errors. (Basically, just because a character has been listed as submitted doesnā€™t mean they will have a poll run)

Hi there! Iā€™m genuinely curious, does being tone deaf count as a disability?
Iā€™m thinking about submitting a character whoā€™s tone deaf into this blog, but Iā€™m not 100% sure whether or not if it counts as a disability (for this blog) or not.
I can honestly say this is something I havenā€™t thought of before. Iā€™d say it really depends on context. If itā€™s just a punchline for a joke Iā€™d go with no. Otherwise Iā€™d say it counts. Hereā€™s a Wikipedia article that kinda helped me figure out my point.
