Some of you may recall that I’ve actually made a V model in the past. And you’d be right! V was one of my first Persona style edits. As time passed, I improved a lot, especially since I’m working primarily with Persona models nowadays. So.. here’s the comparison.

On my first try, I didn’t really have much of a point of reference, I just looked at V’s model loosely and decided “yeah imma make that”. This time, I referenced both Tomio Ogata’s V and the actual DMC5 V model.

Zhongli comforting you - fluff

Zhongli knows when something is wrong, whether that may be because he can see it in your body language, in the things you say and do or he just has a feeling something is off, he knows.

He asks if you want to talk about what’s bothering you or if something happened but he won’t pry if you don’t. Regardless he will offer his company and do what he can to make you feel better because seeing you like this is unacceptable. Where is your smile? Everything about you in that moment is the opposite of what he wants. He wants to see you happy, he wants you to feel relaxed and comfortable, that you’re barely unable to look him in the eyes right now, twists something painfully in his chest.

Zhongli sits you down on a couch before he excuses himself for a few minutes to brew a tea for you. Something simple, with a lot of herbs and a flowery note, just something to help you calm down. He joins you on the couch, sits by your side as you sip on the tea and keeps you company in silence if all you need is a moment of calm and peace. He is there and he lets you know about it, whether with words or just his presence. 

If you need a distraction he’ll gladly tell you one of his stories. He tells you about the time after the Archon war, about gentler times once the horrors of the war had become a distant memory to the people of Liyue. He keeps you engaged, watches your reactions closely and only when he sees a smile on your face again does he slowly come to an end of his story(he can drag it out for hours, his memory is way too good, there’s not a single detail he doesn’t remember).

No need to ask for a hug, if you want and need one Zhongli will have you wrapped up in his arms in an instance. He pulls you close, your head resting on his chest, his heartbeat a steady sound that soothes you and his hand stroking your hair distracts you enough that you anything but melt until you’re boneless in his arms. Zhongli stays like this with you for as long as you want. There’s a time to talk about it - if you want to - and for him to give you any kind of advice or words of comfort, but for the moment all that matters is for you to be here, in his arms, and that whatever was or is bothering you is far away from your mind.

Aside from all that, just ask for whatever you want or might need. Zhongli will do whatever he can, he will get you whatever you need. He will help you and he will try to ease your mind, whether all he can do is to offer an ear or a shoulder to cry on or whether he can actually tackle the issue at the source and get rid of it with you. Either way he will do it.
