It was his 21st birthday when Khun Eduan, his father, hired a personal secretary for him as a 'birthday present'.

"She's quite a beauty, isn't she? I hope you have a good time with her, my dearest Aguero."

"Why did you even hire a secretary for me? You know they will fire themselves in two weeks maximum."

"You'll see, my son."

Knowing his father's promiscuous nature, Khun knew all too well that he was giving him a not-so-subtext message that, in simpler words, would translate as : "You're an adult now and I hope you get laid by your newly hired secretary, my dearest son."

Khun didn't care about getting laid. Although one thing he could agree with his father is that his new secretary, Jue Viole Grace, was a beauty although she was a woman of few words.

And Khun preferred it that way; the comfortable silence, and her calming, grounding presence in his office....... although sometimes he couldn't help noticing the way her plain black skirt rode too high when she bends over to pick the pen she dropped, exposing her voluminous thighs in stockings for his eyes to see. Or the way she tapped her pen to her luscious lips when she was concentrating. Or the way her ponytail reach her a-

But the point is.

He never thought that he would see a totally different side of her in just two weeks; when he was invited to a ball and she was there to accompany him, wearing a simple black dress that he chose himself.

Things was going all too well, they danced for a bit, and Khun spent more than fifteen minutes fighting the urge to just kiss her when her eyes went brighter on the sight of cheesecakes on the dessert table until he could hear two gunshots.

One coming his way, and one coming from hi- what?

The only thing he could see was Viole shooting whoever tried to shoot him with a little smirk on her usually-stoic face and confidence he had never seen from her.

And now Khun finally knew the real reason why Eduan hired her.

Khun was never a person to be fooled or blinded by beauty, but the first time Khun met the newly hired maid, the only thing he could say was "beautiful".

Jue Viole Grace-- she was a perfect lady anyone can dream of. Her long, enchanting fingers-- perfect in embroidery, cooking, and writing poems. Her gentle, soothing voice...Khun was secretly glad that it was the voice that woke him up every single day. Her amber eyes, and the way they always shone a little bit brighter when there was beautiful butterfly or the setting sun in sight.

Jue Viole Grace was a beauty. Nothing but a beauty. Or so Khun thought.

Until one night, he woke up from a piercing sound of multiple gunshots by his bedroom window. His instinct led him to look at the way the gunshot sounds come from, only to find his maid with a gun in her hand. Her usually warm eyes were cold, her hands didn't tremble, the confidence she emitted was a proof valid enough to show that she knew what exactly she was doing.

"How nice of you to pay my Earl a visit in the middle of the night, Sir. You must be exhausted. Let me send you home."
