IT. IS FINISHED. A year and a half of work, seven episodes, thousands of images, finally culminating in this grand finale! I'm IMMENSELY happy to have this done- I've never finished any sort of full story or creative work before, so I cannot describe the satisfaction of finally getting this out. The references I’ve made for all of the characters I’ve faced off against so far in Excalibur Experiment OCT! In order we have Chassi, Crest, Erica, James Kennedy, and Marc Talibor. You can watch as my lineart gets smaller and more precise, and between James and Marc I switched from Fire Alpaca to Clip Studio Paint.

apparently ppl don’t know about waifu2x??? despite its… concerning name it’s literally the most convenient website i’ve ever come across as an artist

it allows you to resize artwork without it becoming pixellated. this is a MASSIVE help if you, for example, make lineart too small or something. it works best with things that 1. have no textures 2. have smooth lines 3. have cel shading, but it still works really damn well for things that don’t fit that profile

Oh wow, it just occurred to me that I haven’t uploaded ANY of the art I’ve made for the Excalibur Experiment OCT yet! Here’s my character Cerosse, and some more tiny doodles I made of other competitors. My boy is a large cyclopean unicorn cyborg (say that 5 times fast) with a lot of baggage. He’s old as hell and has still somehow learned absolutely nothing.
