I saw someone ask this, not to put a break on the festivities, but did Jensen say "so do I" to mean that he calls Misha his boyfriend too? Or did Jensen mean that he also refers to Misha as Danneel's boyfriend?
I hope that Jensen was really saying the first possiblity in a moment of total honesty...but....now I'm not really sure....

Kripke finally acknowledged Nicki.
Tumblr media
It is sad to read about the passing of Nicki Aycox from leukemia at 47. She seemed like a lovely person and I thought she was absolutely brilliant as the original Meg. I also thought that she was stunningly beautiful too.
But it is also sad that her passing was not acknowledged by anyone from the Supernatural cast and crew. Except for Samantha Ferris that is, who tweeted her condolences almost as soon as the news was posted. But no one else from the cast and crew tweeted anything about Nicki. That really is sad and disappointing too.

So I watched Season 3 of The Boys for Jensen despite not watching the first two seasons. The show was fine, I will go back and watch all of it now. But it sure was hard to accept that Homelander and Soldier Boy and Butcher and the others all hate each other and want to kill each other after first seeing dozens of photos and vids of Jensen and Karl and Antony and the others always with their arms around each other and laughing and smiling and also leaving each other love notes on Instagram. I just couldn't get past all that love, lol.

Reblogging because I love this painting.
Tumblr media
Above: Edward Hopper, Early Sunday Morning (originally titled Seventh Avenue Shops), 1930. Oil on canvas.
This is one of Hopper’s best-known paintings. Although he described this work as “almost a literal translation of Seventh Avenue,” Hopper reduced the New York City street to bare essentials. The lettering in the window signs is illegible, architectural ornament is loosely sketched, and human presence is merely suggested by the various curtains differentiating discrete apartments. The long, early morning shadows in the painting would never appear on a north-south street such as Seventh Avenue. Yet these very contrasts of light and shadow, and the succession of verticals and horizontals, create the charged, almost theatrical, atmosphere of empty buildings on an unpopulated street at the beginning of the day. Although Hopper is known as a quintessential twentieth-century American realist, and his paintings are fundamentally representational, this work demonstrates his emphasis on simplified forms, painterly surfaces, and studiously constructed compositions.
For a detailed examination of the painting, see here.
Below: An old photo of the actual building that Hopper used as his inspiration for the painting.

I have a thought that I haven't seen anywhere, which makes sense to me. I've seen people say that Jensen might have asked Misha to backtrack and say he was straight. It's possible I guess, but I don't believe that at all. Jensen certainly seemed okay with everything with Misha during the panel. But maybe it was Vicki. We know she's a very private person, she probably in just the two days got totally swamped with calls from every real and clickbait entertainment reporter in the country to ask her about being married to a bisexual man all those years. Yes, Vicki wrote the threesome book, but that was years before anyone knew who she and Misha were. It's hardly a stretch to assume that Vicki has no interest in discussing her marriage and sex life with any reporter. Also, the kids are now middle school age, no matter how liberal their schools are the comments and teasing about their dad would have been unavoidable. Just to be clear, of course Vicki surely never had an issue with Misha being bi, but perhaps Vicki asked Misha to take back the coming out to stop and further avoid all of the nonsense and the crazy media hoopla that she and the kids were probably already having to deal with. Just a thought because I personally still believe that the coming out was real, but Misha may not have imagined the extent of media attention that it would receive.

So Jensen just randomly posts a Batman related photo taken weeks ago. Of course it's a total coincidence, of course it doesn't have anything to do with Misha's new role. Of course not...
