Platonic Stevepop ❤️

The Valentine's Day after Sandy dumped Soda, Steve went all out in getting Soda stuff...

- A mixed bouquet of Soda's favorite flowers (courtesy of Evie's spying skills)

- A grocery bag full of candy, Steve might've eaten a few pieces

- An entire day just going wherever Soda wanted to go (they rode the carousel at the park more than once)

- Steve gave Soda a card that said 'worlds best friend' written in it

- And they went to the local Dairy Queen to get ice cream

- Steve got a decent sized teddy bear for Soda on the way home

The rest of the gang just thought all of the stuff was from Soda's many admirers, so no one questioned it.

(I have an obsession with Stevepop, platonic or not I frickin love them) (Evie spent the day with her mom- plus they had been planning this for months, she was 100% on board with the whole idea)

Would you rather bring back Johnny or Dallas?

Trigger Warning: Contains mentioning of suicide

For me, this answer is completely based on the situation. By "bringing back" someone, would it heal their physical connection?

If so, I would choose to bring back Johnny. As Johnny had a lot of life ahead of him, time to do some good in the world (or at least try). Dallas was still suicidal even while Johnny was still around.

There wasn't a switch in there that made him think... "oh I'm this now..." There was a gradual build up. But losing Johnny pushed Dallas over the edge. Johnny was someone who he believed he had to protect and he had failed at doing so.

Dallas was a failure. And I think Dallas would much rather Johnny go on living without him, than him having to live without Johnny.

But, if "bringing back" just means reviving them with no physical healing, I would choose Dallas.

Johnny wouldn't be able to walk again if he survived, that much was obvious. He'd never get to play football with the guys, or take part in rumbles, or live by himself. Johnny wouldn't be able to be a kid anymore. He'd be confined to the one place he despised the most.

In Johnny's letter, he tells Pony to tell Dally there's still good in the world. Now nothing could replace Johnny in Dallas' mind. But maybe knowing that Johnny believed he could be something more than a hood would give Dallas a push on a better track.
