Dad!Jaehyun was moody which was odd. It had been an unusually easy morning. There was good breakfast, nice morning with cartoons that hadn’t been as annoying as usual. The little, sister dogs had actually even been kind of cute. You were curled up at his side on the couch playing with his hair and being very loving- which he loved.
His daughter was calm, ate all her breakfast, and had been extra cuddly and adorable. She had gone down for her first nap with no fussing and didn’t whine when you got her ready. This was also odd for the almost one year old, it was like hitting the jackpot with her this morning. She was in a cute little dress Jaehyun had proudly picked out himself and little sandals that he loved because her tiny toes scrunched up every time she wore them.
But, all the pleasantness of the morning wasn’t why he was moody. Obviously not, it had been a beyond ideal morning. He was moody because you, his wife, had been teasingly poking fun at your daughter about Uncle Johnny.
Stupid Johnny. Johnny who made his daughter get shy and hide and lean toward the obnoxiously tall man. Seriously, who even needed to be that tall? She planted her cute, wet kisses on Johnny’s cheek instead of her own dad, made her cling to Johnny instead of him. He hated it.
You parked outside Johnny’s house, unbuckling your daughter from her car seat. You tickled her side, cooing, “are we going to go see your favorite? Are you excited to see Uncle Johnny, princess?”
Jaehyun’s face fell into a grimace, following behind his girls with the diaper bag on his shoulder. Suddenly he was wondering why he accepted the invitation for this impromptu barbecue. Maybe he should lie and say he had a stomachache so you all had to go back home, or say that he just saw his daughter have a diaper blow out and there was no extra clothes. Then it was too late, you’d already rung the doorbell.
The door opened to reveal the smiling giant, “Is that my favorite girl?!”
Your daughter hid her face in your neck, smiling shyly but also not objecting to Johnny taking her from your hold. Johnny held her like a total pro, he was the favorite uncle after all, and greeted you and Jaehyun with hugs while ushering you in.
“Look at you, princess! Are you so happy to see Uncle Johnny?” You smiled brightly at your daughter while snapping a quick picture.
Your daughter simple babbled and cuddled closer to Johnny, making her dad’s face fall into a deeper frown. You turned to Jaehyun with a knowing, teasing glint in your eye, “she loves him so much.”
He grumbled, “she loves me more though.”
You wiggled your fingers at your daughter while Johnny toted her around, “I don’t know… she’s obsessed with Johnny.”
Jaehyun glared at you, “it’s like you’re trying to hurt my feelings right now. A baby can’t be obsessed with anyone anyway.”
“She’s obsessed with me,” you shrug.
“You’re her mom, duh.”
You snort out a laugh, “Try it out then. Try to get her to leave Johnny.”
Jaehyun smugly walks over and tries to coax his daughter to him. She furrows her little eyebrows at him and turns back to Johnny, patting his cheek with a look of wonder. Jaehyun scowls, trying again, even going as far as shaking her favorite toy in her eye sight. But nothing, his daughter lays her head on Johnny’s shoulder and whines.
“Dude, you’re bothering her,” Johnny pouts, rubbing his free hand up and down the baby girl’s back comfortingly.
Jaehyun pouts and trudges over to you and embraces you while burying his head in your neck, very reminiscent of what his daughter had just done to Johnny, “she hates me.”
“Maybe the next one will love you more than Johnny.”
His head snaps up, “next one?”
You smile nervously, “surprise?”

Was this restaurant too fancy? Had Jungwoo chosen the right place to eat? Was it obvious he was sweating? He took a deep breath, he was no going to let his nerves make him sick- again.
This was the day, weeks and weeks of playing it cool came to this. He was taking his childhood celebrity crush out on a date! This was something that only ever happened in his dreams, and only since he was 9 years old.
You’d been in the spotlight almost all your life. You started on some children’s TV shows which is where Jungwoo first discovered you, then you progressed into some music, but you really took off as a teen and adult in more serious acting roles.
He had never imagined that a night of chugging beers and drunkenly sending you an Instagram DM would have resulted in you agreeing to go out with him. He was nervous, meeting you in person is a big deal. The whole private room of the restaurant had to be booked for just the two of you just to prevent fans or cameras from catching sight of the two of you.
But now Jungwoo was starting to wonder if maybe that was a personal preference of yours. A quirk that came with so many years in the spotlight. Maybe you didn’t like to eat around normal people. He panicked, what if you were rude to waitstaff because they were “beneath” you? What if you sent back your food because it wasn’t to your usual gourmet standards? What would he do? How could he deal with the fact that the person he’d had a crush on for over half his life was rude?
The door open and his head snapped over, stopping his internal panic. You came in quietly, bowing slightly to the employee that held the door open to you with a polite smile before you looked at Jungwoo, “Hi! It’s so good to finally see you, I hope I didn’t keep you waiting long.”
His mouth opened and shut with no sound a few times, “Uh- um- ehhh- no. No. Sorry, no. No, I haven’t been waiting long. Is it- can I greet you with a hug or do you not like people touching you?”
You waved him off, shrugging out of your sweater, “it’s fine. We are on a date after all.”
You gave him a warm embrace before taking a seat across from him and looking over the menu. You both made small talk and you laughed at all his stupid, word vomit jokes.
You smiled at all the staff that came by, never faltering even when every single cook, bus boy, waiter and hostess came and got their pictures with you. You thanked everyone of them for their support and signed whatever they put in front of you, even one of the cook’s shoes. You thanked the cooks for their work and delicious food and Jungwoo was not ashamed to say his crush grew even bigger.
He was having a hard time containing his excited squeals when you talked about your shared interests and what you did in your free time. You spent a lot of time with your past schools, volunteering, and spending time with the elderly where your grandparents lived.
When your final plates were cleared you looked at Jungwoo with a shy but genuine smile, “I’m glad we came out. I haven’t been on very many dates, but this is the best one. I hope we can do it again…”
Jungwoo would not even be ashamed to say his mouth opened and shut like a fish out of water, again, “you want to go out with me again?”
Your eyes widen and Jungwoo’s heart breaks when sadness fills your eyes, “Do you not want to? I’m sorry for assuming, you don’t have to.”
He panics, “I do! Yes, I want to go out with you again! Please!”

(cw: a baby, parenthood, (gn!reader))
Fatherhood was something that dad!Doyoung never thought he could ever be ready for. He’d never been around babies! He didn’t know how to change diapers. He didn’t want to change diapers. He couldn’t imagine going a day with a 3 hours of sleep. He couldn’t imagine your usual calm home being filled with crying and the wailing of a baby. He wasn’t sure if he’d ever be comfortable holding such a fragile little thing. It was overwhelming for him to say the very least. He felt as if he’d never be prepared.
But despite all his worrying and anxieties, he’d overcome all that. His and the baby’s sleep schedule had slowly but surely started getting back to normal. As normal as it could get with a baby boy waking up at the ass crack of dawn to eat. The diapers also hadn’t gotten easier, but Doyoung was more used to it now. He was used to holding the baby now, and he was a complete natural.
The only thing that had gotten better, and subsequently gotten worse after a few weeks, was the crying. There had been a few weeks of pure bliss. The crying was normal, the baby was hungry, needed a diaper change, or hungry. But then, god, god of course you both knew it was coming, but you had hoped it would take a few more months like your friends kids did. The teething.
There was not enough numbing gel, teething rings, teething toys, teething tablets, frozen wash cloths, or teething snacks to sooth your poor baby’s sore gums. This was one of the things you’d failed to think about. For the people around you it happened around 8 or 9 months, your poor baby boy was 6 months, today.
You were having a small, intimate group of people over to celebrate your son’s half birthday. Just some dinner and cake.
Doyoung was talking to Johnny with his son on his lap, bouncing his son on his knee when the very familiar whining and whimpers started. “Honey! The gel is wearing off!” Doyoung called out to you.
You dug around the freezer, “None of his toys are in here! Did you remember to put them in?”
Doyoung sighed, he had forgotten. He was so busy helping you set up while your son was down for his nap, he had forgotten. He knew he had forgotten something!
You sent him one of your well-known “what did I tell you?” looks and handed him the teething gel before going back to your conversation with his brother.
“Sorry, this will only take a second. Anyway, I was just saying how the book is really well written…” Doyoung continued his conversation with his pointer finger rubbing over the baby’s gums.
Johnny stared at the baby with a humorous gaze. The baby hummed and gurgled happily as he held Doyoung’s finger in his mouth and gnawed on it. Doyoung was hilariously unphased, forgoing his mission of applying the teething gel and just letting the baby chew on his finger.
“Anyway, I think you’d really like the book. Do you want to borrow it?” Doyoung asked with raised brows.
Johnny chuckled, “I’m sorry I wasn’t listening. I was just watching little man go to town on your finger.”
“This will hurt a lot more when his teeth are fully out, but they’re just breaking through. I don’t even mind it- but the drool. The drool is the real problem, I think. We have to change his bib at least 5 times a day,” Doyoung explains while wiping up a string of baby saliva.
“You’re a good dad, Doyoung,” Johnny smiles, clapping Doyoung’s shoulder.
You caress your son’s wet cheek and kiss Doyoung’s , “he’s the best.”

This was one of the things you'd failed to think about. For the people around you it happened around 8 or 9 months, your poor baby boy was 6 months, today.
You were having a small, intimate group of people over to celebrate your son's half birthday. Just some dinner and cake.
Doyoung was talking to Johnny with his son on his lap, bouncing his son on his knee when the very familiar whining and whimpers started. "Honey! The gel is wearing off!" Doyoung called out to you.
You dug around the freezer, "None of his toys are in here! Did you remember to put them in?"
Doyoung sighed, he had forgotten. He was so busy helping you set up while your son was down for his nap, he had forgotten. He knew he had forgotten something!
You sent him one of your well-known "what did I tell you?" looks and handed him the teething gel before going back to your conversation with his brother.
"Sorry, this will only take a second. Anyway, I was just saying how the book is really well written..." Doyoung continued his conversation with his pointer finger rubbing over the baby's gums.
Johnny stared at the baby with a humorous gaze. The baby hummed and gurgled happily as he held Doyoung's finger in his mouth and gnawed on it. Doyoung was hilariously unphased, forgoing his mission of applying the teething gel and just letting the baby chew on his finger.
"Anyway, I think you'd really like the book. Do you want to borrow it?" Doyoung asked with raised brows.
Johnny chuckled, "I'm sorry I wasn't listening. I was just watching little man go to town on your finger."
"This will hurt a lot more when his teeth are fully out, but they're just breaking through. I don't even mind it- but the drool. The drool is the real problem, I think. We have to change his bib at least 5 times a day," Doyoung explains while wiping up a string of baby saliva.
"You're a good dad, Doyoung," Johnny smiles, clapping Doyoung's shoulder.
You caress your son's wet cheek and kiss Doyoung's , "he's the best."

Fratboy!Jaehyun was nervous. He was never nervous before parties. What would he ever have to be nervous about? A house full of people, booze, weed, and surrounded by his fraternity brothers.
But today was different. You were coming to today’s party. You- a girl he really liked. A girl he didn’t want to be embarrassed in front of. A girl he wanted to impress and show off to.
He was rushing around the living room and kitchen area. Were there enough cups? Did he get the chips you mentioned you liked? Were there enough? Should he hide some in case they all got eaten? Did he have that tequila you liked? The very specific brand he went to 2 stores to find. Yes, hidden behind the Fireball and Pink Whitney that would surely go first.
Soon enough, the house was filled with the usual amounts of party goers. The beer in his hand had hardly been touched and was getting warm- gross. And yet, you were nowhere to be found. You had told him you were coming. You and your roommate were coming. He didn’t want to seem too eager or overexcited, but oh my god! Where were you?!
He walked around the room, making sure no one was messing up anything too badly or fucking on the kitchen table again. That was horrible to see.
But he didn’t see any of that and he almost missed seeing you. If it weren’t for you crawling onto the beer pong table to celebrate the game, he wouldn’t have seen you.
