In India Bramhotsav festivities take place on the hill top of Tirumala where world's richest temple of lord Venkateshwara is situated. These festivities started by lord Bramha to honor lord Vishnu who is incarnated as Lord Venkateshwara.
On the occasion of house warming as per Indian culture and tradition worshiping of cow is done. It is called gho pooja or Govardhana pooja.
