im posting this later than i should, but just so i have all my bases covered - i have a new public discord server!

its a chill art & general server and a remake of an older server of mine from ages ago (its minecraft themed). it JUST opened and still isnt 100% finished, but i have events and stuff planned down the road and maybe a minecraft realm once i get a new computer (which… wont be for a bit but. still its in da plans) and i hope to have movie nights and decent frequency of calls and stuff :]!

theres no icon just yet (it will be coming soon), but i got the big basics out of the way lol

i want her to look just as good as everyone else and i feel like at the moment she ... doesnt, so. LOL

unfortunately, unlike the others, applejacks sketch never got finished so you have to put up with its state.

shes a Very Horse type of horse, especially compared to the rest, and bc of that i think she feels more plain compared to them as well - but i think its fitting all the same. she was pretty much solely inspired by belgian horses (roans especially).

i took away her hat despite it being Iconic just because i dont think it really suits my personal AJ, but im not NOT saying its not Around still.

so far i believe she has the biggest cutiemark since it physically stretches across her belly/side.

i’ll be posting a group image of all my mane 6 redesigns - keep an eye out for it.

(as a quick note, my RD uses he/she/they pronouns so if you see me switch between pronouns - that’s why LOL)

so, i changed the silhouette entirely and made her a LOT more bird-like (shes possibly the most bird-like out of all the pegasi in my HCs) and i feel like the Vibes are just entirely different between the two as well - which, is good because i dont like the vibes of the old one at all LMFAO

their design was inspired primarily by peregrine falcons but i took some inspo from scissortail kites (mostly the tail feathers) and sooty horses.

her cutie mark remained largely the same to the original RD’s, because i do feel like it FITS. but i made it go down his entire leg (even in the scales) instead

i attempted to redesign all the mane 6 previously (back in 2018-2019), but i never got to finishing them so i have a lot of the sketches. below is my original twilight redesign sketch from back then :]

while i KNOW my design from back then wouldve looked different, i made sure to keep the general idea behind this design in tact (since i still HC her looking like this). thats why the hair and general silhouette look the same :]

her cutie mark isnt visible in the sketch but i also know i changed it, i just dont have any way to... show other ppl that lol. but i think the one i gave her is close enough to her original while still fitting with my other HCs for the ponies (and in general looking better imo lol)
