The Evans: When They’re Sick

Tate Langdon

You know something is wrong because he does the impossible

He sleeps

And longer for 15 minutes

So honestly the best thing to do for him is let him sleep as long as he’s able (yes, he’s a ghost but ghosts have immune systems too >:()

Also he does this thing where after he feels better he feels like he has to prove to you that he was never that sick to begin with because he’s ~a dummy~

Kit Walker

Oh boy, our poor sweet baby

His tell tale signs are he shakes like a lil leaf and gets SO cold

“I-I gotta take the kids to school-“

“The only thing you’re taking is ibuprofen and a nap”

He also gets really nervous about the kiddos

He doesn’t like them to see when he’s sick at all but they just let him pretend they don’t know anything is wrong

And besides: they like having you pick them up from school and spending time with you too :)

Kyle Spencer (pre-death)

Oh my glory, when he’s sick he gets so loopy

Like yes, he’s a giggly boi in general but you cannot get this child to calm down when he’s sick

“I wanna go outside”

“No, Kyle, you’re staying inside”

Like drunk Kyle is loud and giggly but sick Kyle is soft and quiet and giggly if that makes any sense

Very stubborn when sick (yeah, he’s stubborn anyway but like…god help us all when he’s sick)

First of all, he will refuse to believe that he’s sick to begin with

Like the first step is admitting you have a problem 

It is quite funny watching him go about his day scrunching his nose because he’s trying not to sneeze though

Like it’s just one of those things where everyone knows but just doesn’t have the heart to tell him

“Wh-why are you all looking at me like that?” *sniffle sniffle*

But then after the show he gives up the facade and becomes a total diva and sleeps with a hot washrag on his face and sleeps in a starfish position

James P. March

Mr. March has a wild case of what we call, stress illness

I mean…the man has a lot of things to stress about dead OR alive

So when he piles up alllll this stress and tension, and it’s all finally relieved

He folds

He basically spends the whole day thr**ing up 

Like don’t even bother using the same bathroom because for the next 10-16 hours it’s his

And he gets insatiably embarrassed too

“Don’t come in, I’m a weakling I have no backbone I have no sense of control, I’m a feeble pig-”

He’s also a crier when he throws up too so you wanna help him but you really just have to let him get through it on his own RIP :/

Rory Monahan

So Rory isn’t one to get sick super often, but when it does

His actor side comes out

Like send in the fire brigade everyone, Rory Monahan is dying of tuberculosis/bubonic plague literally everything under the sun

He becomes a full-blown diva

He has an intense sick-day regimen involving different teas, guided meditations, candles, incense etc.

Which is funny because for a man suffering a crappy cold, he really enjoys scented things at this time

“Babe…can you light my Mahogany Teakwood candle for me? I-I can’t reach it…” *cough cough*

You feel bad (obviously) but you have to admit it is lightly entertaining and you do enjoy taking care of him when you’re able
