For example, Marilyn Monroe has her Gemini sun in the 10th degree and Britney Spears has her Sagittarius sun in the 10th degree. Michael Jackson has his Pisces rising in the 10th degree. Lil Wayne has his Scorpio Jupiter in the 10th degree. All of these celebrities have been reported to be mistreated and disrespected by powerful figures. What do you think about my observation and the 10th degree?

Hi, sorry I took to long to answer but I agree with your observation.

NOTE: There are many factors that come to play and each individual experiences are different. I will explain why the 10th degree may have such influence and what the 10th degree is.

According to degree theory, the 10th degree is ruled by Capricorn. And this degree represents difficulty, hard and other synonyms. The 10th degree also represents public positions and older people in general. Hence that maybe why you notice these observations.

They may also have had difficult relationships with fathers and authority figures throughout their lives. Capricorn which rules the 10th degree according to degree theory is also ruled by Saturn. Saturn represents father/authority.

The same goes for those with the following placements:

YOUR LILITH & YOU (Part 1)

Before I begin “Astra inclinant, non necessitant”. Meaning “the stars impel, they do not compel”. They urge us but they do not force us. 

From an astrological standpoint, Lilith is a calculated point on the Moon’s orbital path. The moon represents our habits, inner emotions, subconscious and instincts. It is how we are naturally wired or inclined to act/think on the inside and sometimes on the outside. And that can explain what Lilith is in our charts.

Lilith is that innate inclination that is usually shunned by society. We have these desires and sometimes express and are chastised for expressing them.

“ she is presented as the proto-feminist, willing to sacrifice even the paradise of Eden as the necessary cost of freedom and equality.”

Lilith wanted to be equal with Adam and was shunned for it. When she realized that she couldn’t be who she wanted to be she left. For that she was painted as the villain.

I also believe Lilith are the ideologies we are not willing to budge on. Because Lilith believed in being equal she forsook paradise rather than compromise on her belief. But due to circumstances our Lilithian desires are now suppressed.

You’ve had to be the one who can withstand all kinds of pressure. Fear of being vulnerable and not being strong all the time. Your father may have a hand in this.

LILITH SQUARE ASCENDANT

The ascendant represents our physical appearance, the way you come off to others. Lilith represents our impulsive nature, stubborn streak. Square is a hard aspect and often causes tension and there isn’t much balance between the Lilith and the ascendant.

Others may see you as sensual, stubborn and headstrong. Embody sexy and sensual energy. Once you’ve set your mind on something you aren’t easily persuaded. You may have an internal fight on giving into your Lilith desires(to be vulnerable) and your personality. You may have been bullied for wanting to be vulnerable. Sorry for taking so long to answer your question. School is taking a toll on me rn.

That is an eighth house stellium. The themes of the eighth house will be prevalent in the areas that those planets influence. Moon represents emotion, mother/maternal figures, habits. So you may keep to yourself a lot. Others seem to think they know you because you may seem to be readable but thats not true. They only see what you want them to see. Mercury represents ideas, thoughts, how we communicate etc. So you may like dirty jokes/ may curse a lot, like horror, like to investigate, can be very penetrating or manipulative with words. Venus represents relationships with others (platonic/romantic), aesthetic, what we consider valuable (appearance, food, art, clothes). So you may be used to getting people to give you their clothes/money, may like dark makeup/clothes, may like sex.

Lilith is not an inner planet but an asteroid so I will address this differently. It is where we lack restraints which can be sometimes a good thing but if taken overboard can cause for problems. It being in the 8th house means that you may feel your Lilithian desires more intensely. Your Lilithian desires may show up in financial interactions with other people. It may also show up during sex. Lilith may cause you to transform you all the time.

SATURN: The Dreaded Planet

Before I begin “Astra inclinant, non necessitant”. Meaning “the stars impel, they do not compel”. They urge us or drive us but they do not force us. 

There is a lot of talk around this planet. People fear having this aspect other planets. The most common fear is the Saturn Return that happens when you are around 29-33.

Well, those feelings are valid. Very valid. Everyone wants the fast or easy lane. But sometimes the easy lane is detrimental to our growth as a person. And besides easy doesn’t make for interesting life stories.

Saturn is a generational planet. And it rules Capricorn and Aquarius (ancient). It was considered to be the night ruler of Aquarius. I will be using keys from Roman and Greek mythology because I truly believe there’s a connection.

LESSONS OF SATURN

Saturn is the ruler of Saturday. Everyone loves a Saturday, work is over and you get to rest. You get to renew your strength. Saturn is the planet of restoration. And also responsibility. And I do believe this is meant in a karmic sense. Where you have Saturn in your chart may be where you may have not taken things seriously in your past life. Saturn is now calling you to be responsible and mend that part of your life that you fucked up.

For those who do not have a karmic lesson, Saturn just show you where you are weak. And it is telling you to work on that area.

Saturn is equivalent to the Greek God Chronus (not Zeus’s dad). This god is the embodiment of time. Greek: Χρόνος, [kʰrónos] Translation: time. Saturn’s themes on our lives work till they die. We have the choice to work with or against it. Saturn has 2 consorts (he has more than that but I’ll be discussing the major ones). 

Ops is one of them and she represents abundance, wealth and growth. The other wife, Lua, represents destruction but she could also protect you from destruction if amendments are made. I interpret that to be the two outcomes of not follow the themes of Saturn which are restriction, structure, patience, responsibility.

Saturn also represents wealth, periodic renewal, liberation. When Saturn is heard, there is abundance. There is also a form of release from your close-mindedness or lack of self awareness. That is very liberating in a sense.  Periodic Renewal meaning working on your Saturn is not a one time thing. Just like after the weekend(Saturday) when you have to go to work. That applies to your Saturn. Saturn will let up and let you admire your work and you HAVE to continue working on it.

Saturn also represent longevity(long-lasting). This can mean when you start to work harmoniously with your Saturn. Wherever it is placed, Saturn can give longevity to that area. And that also works in the other way. It can also mean that Saturn will make you take longer time to achieve the theme of that placement. Because Saturn requires you to have a stable structure and be more responsible.

SATURN RETURNS

When this happens, Saturn themes rule over your life. The aspects Saturn has with other planets will definitely be highlighted. This can be difficult or moderately difficult. Let’s say you have Saturn in 4th house. Saturn Return will throw challenges or tasks related to your mother, home life, family and so on.

SATURN IN FALL, DETRIMENT & RETROGRADE

Saturn is at detriment in Cancer and Leo. There is a lack of self-awareness and hatred of structure and what it brings. These natives may not see need for structure, restriction and so on. More work is needed by these natives because Saturn is harmed in this sign.

Saturn is at fall in Aries. The energy of Saturn is weak. You are somewhat aware of the themes of Saturn but don’t feel motivated to follow them. Saturn’s energy is not heard. There is just fear of being behind others and what not.

Retrograde is when a planet goes in the opposite direction and is slow moving(this is a really short definition that has left some key details out but…you get what I mean) Anyways, Saturn Rx is doing the opposite of forcing you to form structures in your life, it is telling you to look at the structure you may have built or not (depends on if you followed your Saturn). So during a transit, it may be good depending on if you followed your Saturn or not. But for a natal chart it’s not so good. You may lack structure, boundaries in your life. And because you are always looking inward and feeling bad at your inadequacies, you can hardly see what is going on in front of you. (Big hug to you guys)

Look at the houses to see the themes of your Saturn. Obviously the sign that presides over the house will present it’s themes.

I may not be as accurate because I am not taking your whole chart into account.

I do not think this is a bad placement. Just because it has a square does not necessarily make it bad. Square causes tensions between planets/points in a chart. It usually causes for drive in some individuals or can sometimes stagnate. 

VENUS SQUARE ASCENDANT

You may also be very amicable to others, charming and charismatic. You may love all things Venusian eg fashion, food, interior design and interact with it in your day to day life. You may love/crave balance in everything you do and HATE anything that disrupts balance. People may see you as someone who is obsessed with having relationships. You may have come from a rich background. You may sometimes lose yourself in relationships (romantic/platonic) or your likes/behaviors may change with each relationship

Loneliness breeds the strangest habits.

I remember that when we were kids, my brother collected worms and picked random pieces of junk from the streets. Mom was worried about him and took him to see doctors and therapists and family elders but no one seemed to know what was wrong with him.

One evening at the playground, I noticed him standing near the swing for a while; and looking at the way his head was turned down, I got flashbacks of myself picking up books to avoid being seen, wearing earphones when I went on walks. I remembered the way I sometimes pretended the girl in the mirror was someone else, and I knew. He wasn't sick or struggling, he was just lonely- because worms and junk don't leave in the middle of conversations. It's the same reason we invented phones or the internet, the only reason we write books and songs- loneliness can shrink your bones and make you see god, it's morbid and holy, and gives birth to art and poetry and vice and sins.

Loneliness breeds the strangest habits- makes us text strangers on the internet and collect worms and pieces of junk.

AIR DOMINANTS

Air signs, the breeze is your friend. Going outside is your best bet. Go outside and let the breeze is washing away your fears, troubles. You will feel the breeze calm you down or lift up your spirits. This has grounded me so many times.

Aquarius rules electricity. And I singled it out because the element here causes more of a malefic affect. And as an Aqua Dominant, I feel this effect a lot. There have been lots of occasions of being electrocuted, nearly being stuck by lightning etc. For other Aqua Dominants that may suffer this, your best bet is Sage.

FIRE DOMINANTS

Leo rules the Sun. Sun bathing can be helpful for these natives. Just go outside and take a lay outside in the sun. Taking Vitamin C as well. This may apply for the other fire signs as well. Maybe lighting candles while bathing or just being in your room can help.

EARTH DOMINANTS

What kdrama series would you suggest to each sign?

KDRAMAS FOR YOU BASED ON YOUR MERCURY SIGN

I think I suggest media based on your Mercury. Mercury rules forms of communication and tv is a form of communication. Also check your 3rd and 9th house sign as well and apply.

Aries Mercury / 1H Mercury - as cliché as it sounds, I would suggest action tv shows and suspense. Something to get your blood pumping. I would say Sweet Home, Happiness (2021).

Taurus Mercury / 2H Mercury - You guys should try out Itaewon Class and Chocolate. 

Gemini Mercury / 3H Mercury - Just look through all the suggestions, you guys may like everything. Law School may be a good fit for you. 

Cancer Mercury / 4H Mercury - If you want heartfelt try Something in the Rain, Move to Heaven, Youth of May.

Leo Mercury / 5H Mercury - Something fun and cute is for you guys. Not too serious. The School Nurse Files and Dali and the Cocky Prince.

Libra Mercury / 7H Mercury - shows with romance and well-dressed characters may be something you like Crash Landing on You. Also police/law show may work for you eg Strangers etc

Scorpio Mercury / 8H Mercury- shows dealing with dark topics eg mental illness, religion and mankind’s cult like mindset towards religion. Hellbound, The Crowned Clown and Extracurricular may be a good fit for you. Also try D.P

Sagittarius Mercury / 9H Mercury- Try out sageuk kdramas (historical kdramas). You should watch Red Sleeve Cuff, Kingdom (absolutely superb shows).

Capricorn Mercury / 10H Mercury -  But I would suggest Doctor Prisoner.  Suspense and lots of plotting individuals in the show. Also try Voice. And check out Sagittarius Mercury for historical (sageuk) kdramas.

Aquarius Mercury / 11H Mercury - would be fine with any genre. You lot are open-minded. I would suggest Yumi’s Cells and The Uncanny Counter. 

Pisces Mercury / 12H Mercury - fantasy shows and shows that talk about healing and redemption for the main character. You could watch Rain or Shine, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and Lovers of the Red Sky.

SATURN: The Dreaded Planet

Before I begin “Astra inclinant, non necessitant”. Meaning “the stars impel, they do not compel”. They urge us or drive us but they do not force us. 

There is a lot of talk around this planet. People fear having this aspect other planets. The most common fear is the Saturn Return that happens when you are around 29-33.

Well, those feelings are valid. Very valid. Everyone wants the fast or easy lane. But sometimes the easy lane is detrimental to our growth as a person. And besides easy doesn’t make for interesting life stories.

Saturn is a generational planet. And it rules Capricorn and Aquarius (ancient). It was considered to be the night ruler of Aquarius. I will be using keys from Roman and Greek mythology because I truly believe there’s a connection.

LESSONS OF SATURN

Saturn is the ruler of Saturday. Everyone loves a Saturday, work is over and you get to rest. You get to renew your strength. Saturn is the planet of restoration. And also responsibility. And I do believe this is meant in a karmic sense. Where you have Saturn in your chart may be where you may have not taken things seriously in your past life. Saturn is now calling you to be responsible and mend that part of your life that you fucked up.

For those who do not have a karmic lesson, Saturn just show you where you are weak. And it is telling you to work on that area.

Saturn is equivalent to the Greek God Chronus (not Zeus’s dad). This god is the embodiment of time. Greek: Χρόνος, [kʰrónos] Translation: time. Saturn’s themes on our lives work till they die. We have the choice to work with or against it. Saturn has 2 consorts (he has more than that but I’ll be discussing the major ones). 

Ops is one of them and she represents abundance, wealth and growth. The other wife, Lua, represents destruction but she could also protect you from destruction if amendments are made. I interpret that to be the two outcomes of not follow the themes of Saturn which are restriction, structure, patience, responsibility.

Saturn also represents wealth, periodic renewal, liberation. When Saturn is heard, there is abundance. There is also a form of release from your close-mindedness or lack of self awareness. That is very liberating in a sense.  Periodic Renewal meaning working on your Saturn is not a one time thing. Just like after the weekend(Saturday) when you have to go to work. That applies to your Saturn. Saturn will let up and let you admire your work and you HAVE to continue working on it.

Saturn also represent longevity(long-lasting). This can mean when you start to work harmoniously with your Saturn. Wherever it is placed, Saturn can give longevity to that area. And that also works in the other way. It can also mean that Saturn will make you take longer time to achieve the theme of that placement. Because Saturn requires you to have a stable structure and be more responsible.

SATURN RETURNS

When this happens, Saturn themes rule over your life. The aspects Saturn has with other planets will definitely be highlighted. This can be difficult or moderately difficult. Let’s say you have Saturn in 4th house. Saturn Return will throw challenges or tasks related to your mother, home life, family and so on.

SATURN IN FALL, DETRIMENT & RETROGRADE

Saturn is at detriment in Cancer and Leo. There is a lack of self-awareness and hatred of structure and what it brings. These natives may not see need for structure, restriction and so on. More work is needed by these natives because Saturn is harmed in this sign.

Saturn is at fall in Aries. The energy of Saturn is weak. You are somewhat aware of the themes of Saturn but don’t feel motivated to follow them. Saturn’s energy is not heard. There is just fear of being behind others and what not. Aries is a cardinal sign and is all about charging forward and pushing ahead. But Saturn is about patience, forming a solid foundation etc.

Retrograde is when a planet goes in the opposite direction and is slow moving(this is a really short definition that has left some key details out but...you get what I mean) Anyways, Saturn Rx is doing the opposite of forcing you to form structures in your life, it is telling you to look at the structure you may have built or not (depends on if you followed your Saturn). So during a transit, it may be good depending on if you followed your Saturn or not. But for a natal chart it’s not so good. You may lack structure, boundaries in your life. And because you are always looking inward and feeling bad at your inadequacies, you can hardly see what is going on in front of you. (Big hug to you guys)

Look at the houses to see the themes of your Saturn. Obviously the sign that presides over the house will present it’s themes.
