Briar couldn’t find a pillow🫣 I’m obsessed with them I can’t lie, they’re so cute, we love the soft angst but Apple disagrees (who’s surprised? A royal and a rebel???? Should be illegal tbh)

why are there fake transparent pngs. what kind of sick prank is this. some kind of looney tunes ass bullshit. i run at the gray and white checkered background and hit it like a wall.
there’s literally no group I admire more than loona. these girlies are revolutionary in so many different ways. their debut concept, their songs, their performances… and obviously their departure from bbc. the fact that they are one of the only groups i know that confronted head on the expulsion of a member by quite literally unionizing. do you understand how insane that is in the kpop industry? in any industry, that is. not only that, but because of them, other groups like fifty fifty spoke up against mistreatment by their companies. and after going through hell and a thousand lawsuits and legal disputes, not even 4 months later artms is announced as a new project, odd eye circle comes back with a new mini album, new lore and new content, and chuu announces she’s working on a solo career. fast forward to september and boom loossemble debuts! five girls that have been sidelined during their entire time in loona release one of the best kpop albums of the year with their names all over the credits. yves publishes one of her songs—one that she wrote for loossemble—and haseul’s opera concert is announced. they promote themselves and they love one another so loudly and sincerely, just as much as they love music. wishing all the best to the girls that changed so many lives with their work, including mine.
people are not wrong in calling this era the new age loona
Briar: so its been pretty slow today, the first day back from spring break always is.
Briar: the realization that you're back in this shithole just sucks the life out of you.
Briar: cupid had it especially bad. she arrived super hungover, apparently her family throws massive ragers that last like a week or something. which, by the way im actually so betrayed by the fact she has never invited me to one before.
Briar: anyway she's been slumped over on that table for the last 3 hours, blondie sat next to her like an hour ago and started stroking her hair to like, comfort her.
Briar: i am so tempted to just scream really loud in her ear just to mess with her, like revenge for all the nights i have to hear them going at it like rabbits. my room is literally next door to theirs, im living an actual nightmare and there's no escape because headmaster grimm wont let me switch rooms without a good reason, and i cant just say "my neighbors keep fucking really loud at 3 am" to him. im not a snitch.
Briar: what were we talking about? oh first day back to school, right.
You know, it's kinda funny how much of high fantasy centers around kings and nobility and courtly intrigue considering that the archetypal high fantasy, Lord of the Rings, had the rather explicit moral of "saving the world is up to this backwater hick and his gardener because no politician, least of all inherited nobility, would have the ability to see past their own ambition and throw away a weapon". Oh sure, Aragorn is a great king and all, but there's a reason he's over there running a distraction ring while the hobbits do the real work. Sauron loses because he gets distracted by kings and armies and great battles (i.e. typical high fantasy stuff) letting Frodo and Sam sneak through his back door and blow it all to hell.
Just saying, maybe old Jirt knew what he was saying when he said that the small folk doing their best and holding to each other was more powerful than a dozen alliances and superweapons and we should respect him for it.
