My stageplay ‘Why Me?’ had a public reading session on 14th November at the Basement Theatre. The reading was done by four actors: Karishma Grebneff, Aman Bajaj, Pamela Sidhu & Natasha Daniel. Movie: When Marnie Was There (2014)
Studio Ghibli’s ‘When Marnie Was There‘ is unlike any other Studio Ghibli movie I have seen. Directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, it lacks the usual music, joyfulness and wonder that most Studio Ghibli movies or Hayao Miyazaki’s movies have. It is also a bit slower than most other movies, but I think the slow pace was needed to set everything up.
