See I don’t know. I keep seeing a lot of people saying oh no it doesn’t need to be about Eddie. It shouldn’t be about Eddie. No eddie. But then it’s nothing but poetry about Tommy. So it just keeps coming off as Buck being bi related to Eddie bad. Buck being bi related to Tommy good. Which is also kinda odd considering one has 6 years worth of history behind them and the other has 3 minutes of screen time.

I don’t know about other people but BUDDIE will forever be my OTP endgame couple. Buck’s journey of self discovery has to not be tangled with his feelings for Eddie and vice versa. For lack of better word, I believe Tommy is just a plot device for Buck to discover he likes men. That is one of the main reasons why I think their relationship might be adorable but short lived. Buck and Eddie need to find themselves before they find each other. Tommy is just the shiny new toy in our fandom and everyone wants to play with him (me included ngl 🤭) but no one can beat the bond and kinship between Buck and Eddie. In my opinion, they are meant to be together but just not yet. But then again, that’s just what I believe. If someone thinks Buck/Tommy are endgame…well everyone has the right to their opinions 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m actually so happy for Buck! He deserves a hunky man who will treat him good and help him finally be free 🥹🥹🥹 Like for the first time I feel that Buck can actually exhale 🥲

Maybe this won’t last forever, maybe they are not soulmates, but perhaps this relationship is exactly what Buck needs to find his true self. Buck’s sexual identity journey should not be about Buddie and neither should Eddie’s. They both need proper character development arcs separately before they find solace in each other. For now, Buck and Tommy make a lot of sense 🤷🏻‍♂️🩷
