This is a 6 star rated joint out of 5 possible Google stars.. Been patronizing this place for 12 years Quality is always consistent Very unique taste that can only be found in this city in Asia.. you can’t get this special al dente noodles in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand or China.. Portion is good Staff are friendly and there are lots of them You may hear some orders being barked around when orders are being placed but that’s the uniqueness of the Van Hoa or “kopi shop culture” that can be found in traditional hems and valleys all across the cities in Vietnam You can get bee gia or thin yellow noodle or mi as it is fondly called or hu tiew which is actually glass noodles or perhaps pho or what we call kway teow in Asia which has a medium disposition in Vietnam.. and spread across dishes commonly found eg. In Pho bo.. They have pork meat slices, kidneys and liver with their name being derived from the kidney family.. from 6am to 12pm you will see throngs of families, couples, friends come here for breakfast.. Every single friend that I have brought here have come back with a top rating and superb feedback which attests to the originality and brilliance of this family-based business; what’s more special is that the dad, the mom, the auntie, the son, and the daughter and all their helpers new and old ALL know me.. so when I bark my orders out, they reciprocate quickly and all the Vietnamese patrons are so amazed that i get my food so quickly and wondering who i am.. anyway the overall rating is 9.6/10 which is the highest google rating I have given thus far Enjoy! I seldom put up a bad post but there’s always a first time @thevibes.vn Honestly a very cool place and abtly named with the right amount of vibes in a hidden corner in An Phu In Quan 2 Although they do try quite hard to make it look really authentic and also meshed with the right type of landscape and furniture thats quite bizarre if you ask me.. but the Saigoneers love it The Pomenegrate Juice was awesome and rated 9/10 one of the best things i have tasted on Planet Earth and so refreshing.. But it all stopped there.. when i walked almost too close just before the kitchen prep area as I was curious to see How the pom juice was being prepared and got totally told off by the supervisor there for infringing the space in a totally condescending tone and thats when the Customer in me took over and told her to back off.. and also that not the way to talk to customers.. so poorly trained in customer service and this trait shines so brightly on a day like this .. and she realized she was in the wrong So no matter how popular your place is and how great your ambience and how awesome your food is.. if your service sucks and it is by the way soso, and if the manager leads in this way.. it has a long way to go.. how you treat your customers So for that an overall rating of 3/10 for you and hope you can buck up, wake up and improve! Located on level 33, Cook & Brew offers beautiful bay view to perfect an amorous evening. Begin the night with a delectable five-course set dinner, starting with an amuse-bouche duo featuring Truffle and Mascarpone Beignet with Iberico Ham and fresh Oyster with Dashi Jelly and Caviar, followed by Yellowfin Tuna paired with avocado emulsion, pickled cucumber, sea vegetables and puffed rice for appetizer. Savour Wagyu Beef Shortrib Bon Bon with Organic Baby Carrots and Homemade Roasted Dukkah as the main and end the gastronomic experience with delightful desserts – Hazelnut Dacqoise, Passion Crème and Salted Caramel Ice-cream, and a Petit Fours of Raspberry Pate du Fruits, Truffle Macaroon, and Chocolate Truffle. @cookandbrewsg We decided to try their latest Vietnamese set; A TASTE OF VIETNAM prepared by TOMMY PHAM who is a MasterChef Australia - S13 & S14 Contestant; priced at S$68++ per person for a three-course set menu, it comprise of a Roti Bánh Mi (so exquisite) - Rare roasted Australian beef tenderloin amidst a secret bánh mi sauce and dished with a Swiss brown mushroom pâté, Vietnamese-style truffle mayonnaise, cucumber ribbons, pickled daikon and carrots, coriander, chili. Next we tried the Chá cá La Vons which included a Grilled turmeric black cod fish, bee hoon noodles, sauteed dill and spring onion, cucumber ribbons, roasted peanuts, dill oil and nuoc mam sauce; usually the Hanoians perceive this dish in a hot pot format but the chef was able to transform this known dish in another format - equally delicious and the black cod delivered tenderness and flavour, well melangé. For dessert, we tried a concoction called the Vietnamese Flan which was Silky flan diced with bitter coffee ice kacang, dulce de leche condensed milk coconut sauce - superb on the palate! The highly anticipated Gems of Tuscany commenced today with a walkabout wine tasting at Raffles Hotel and a gala dinner at OSTERIA BBR. Winemakers and owners from notable Tuscan wineries including Il Marroneto, Fattoria le Pupille, Tenuta di Biserno, Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Mazzei, Petrolo, and Bibi Graetz personally introduced their wines at the historic Raffles Hotel. Winemakers provided their inspiration behind the wines, the unique techniques used to create them, and the story behind the wineries itself. We got to taste 24 of Tuscany’s best gems including the newly released and much-anticipated Italy’s First Growth Super Tuscan 2020. #ivins #tasty #peranakan It’s been almost a decade since I came here.. and this venue has expanded 2-3 fold bigger.. What a lovely dining experience! The place was super packed but luckily we made reservations. The food came quickly which was good; the beef rendang tasted superb but the meat a little tough on the chew.. aside from that, the assam fish head was delicious and goes well with white rice.. right pitch of curry and sourness impinged in the right proportion and sauce mix, the chap chye was done to perfection, the tahu goreng was tasty and i am not a fan of peanut sauced melange kind of stuff as i get loads of that in Vietnamese cuisine, but this is so good, the bobochacha nicely proportioned making me want more but I already gained weight past 2 days so its good its kept small. I am surprised that people come here without checking the price…. Obviously it’s going to cost a bit but this is one of the top chinese dining institutions with a HK couple and chef team helming the entire plethora of seafood and wondrous Chinese cuisine in the town of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah in East Malaysia.. The clams were decent but i prefer it if it was not fried garlic based.. The deep sea fish - the star snapper was so yummy, the beef tendon claypot was perfect, the tiger prawn yeefu braised noodle was delicious, the tenderly cooked veggie soup was great and yao mak veggie dish was just right.. Considered the epitome of Japanese cuisine, Kaiseki renders and preserves tradition and culture and in this regard, Chef Saitoh-san, uses his Kaiseki and Omakase based-techniques to showcase his title as the grand master of Japanese cuisine, and he came to Singapore, out of his own desire, to share the appeals of this traditional Japanese cuisine, which is recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Saitoh-san uses his professional experience and discerning eye to procure only the finest ingredients. This ability is vital in Japanese cuisine where much emphasis is placed on seasonality and the ability to bring out the best of every ingredient. Seasonal fruits and vegetables that are usually not easily obtained, as well as fish and meat of the highest quality, are procured from all over Japan. The Tasting Panel were thoroughly spoilt with an 8-course menu which was well curated with the 4 distinct whiskys en-taste at each course tier within the degustation. Born on the streets, sneaker culture has since been driven by artists, athletes and celebrities who express their creativity and passion through sneakers and their designs. Whether status symbols or markers of identity, there is no denying the role of sneakers in defining pop and street culture today, driving a phenomenon that goes far beyond entertainment, technology, sports, hip-hop and fashion. A lovely evening to try out their new outlet over at Suntec City Tower 3 - @bigfishsmallfishsg delivers their signature fish selection with a choice of a flavour, a base and a sauce.
