does anyone know if i can like block sites from appearing in my google images searches??? i keep getting those awful ai generated things with a hand coming out of a man's neck and just straight up not what i was looking for, because this was in a search for "curly hair in medieval paintings". it happens every time i search for anything vaguely art-reference-like and it's so fucking annoying and it clutters my search results so much. i don't wanna add specific commands to the query every time too, what i need is like a browser extension or something

🍂🍁 TURNsgiving Week 2023: The Encore 🍁🍂

Hey TURN fandom! It’s almost that time of year again, the final frontier before Christmas. I’m Archi, and I’ll be taking over host duties from Cat this year since she’s busy with school, but I hope that I’ll make it as fun as it was last year! @musicboxmemories will be my lovely cohost and graphic maker because I cannot make those for the life of me LOL

Here are the planned prompts, and the event will run from November 23rd — November 30th.

Just in case we have new participants this year, here’s a quick rundown of what TURNsgiving is. Each day, there will be some kind of prompt for you to create a post to, whether that be general meta post, fanfic, art, whatever as long as it relates to TURN and meets the prompt.

And here is a rundown of the prompts:

Day 1 (Nov. 23rd): TURNSGIVING!!!! Tell us how you spend your Thanksgiving (thanksgiving recipes/family traditions/tomfoolery) or how a character in the show might celebrate Thanksgiving!

Day 2 (Nov. 24th): Least Favorites! Because if you remember last year’s prompt, the second day was favorites, and I wanted to do a callback, and feel smart and… yeah moving on. Maybe you have a particular episode you just didn’t like? A season? The WHOLE SHOW?!

Day 3 (Nov. 25th): Non-war Buddies! As they say, a war is battle fought amongst friends. Nobody said that actually, I made that up. TURN has many characters who may have been great friends if not for the war, so day 3 is a perfect day to explore the could’ve beens!

Day 4 (Nov. 26th): Rarepair/Crackship Appreciation! You may ask, “Archi, do OCs count?” And I would say, “I don’t actually know. Please allow me 3-5 business days while I consult my cohost.”

Day 5 (Nov. 27th): Modern AU! What would the gang be doing in 2023? Chatting it up on Tick Tock and Disk Chord?

Day 6 (Nov. 28th): You in TURN! Also known as Self Insert day, also known as Yes you can be a background character but come on that’s boring. What would you do if you existed in the show? Feel free to be self indulgent!

Day 7 (Nov. 29th): Prompt Day! Because nothing like some prompts! Prompts will be revealed when I make the info post for each specific day!

SECRET DAY?! (Nov. 30th): MEMES. I actually counted my days wrong at first but as Bob Ross would say, there are no mistakes, only happy little accidents, so this shall be my happy accident. Last year we ended on memes, so this year we continue the tradition!

The tag to use will be #turnsgiving2023 <- no spaces. I’m looking forward to seeing what you lovely people create!

“Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you.

It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep.

Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.”
