We’re almost a year into this new reality and lately I wake up feeling like this image: Multiple coloured lines everywhere representing my roller coaster of emotions; A retro feel because I’m in my 3rd decade and I ain’t gettin’ younger; Stable in my instability.

I enjoy creating art, especially when it’s abstract. Just like me.

Découragée

J’ai l’impression qu’on a un clown à la tête du gouvernement caquiste ici au Québec, et c’est de plus en plus apparent à chaque point de presse. Une marionette au nom de Papa Legault. Que les décisions prises et les reglèments mis en place depuis un an ne sont que pour que la CAQ paraisse bien et en avant de toutes les autres provinces. En première place d’une course. Que nous, le peuple, sommes des cobayes et que les conséquences à long terme de ces décisions ne sont aucunement prises en considération. ... je suis découragée. Vraiment découragée. Cette histoire de covid me semble être plutôt une histoire politique plus qu’une crise sanitaire.

Sure, I’ll semi-blog. We’re still in Covid times and life’s a changin’.

I’ll have a little fun.

I’m a musician and vocalist who teaches music, violin and piano. I’ve recently been learning traditional Québécois fiddle tunes and am falling in love with the violin all over again. I figured, why not just do what I actually enjoy doing, what with life being on hold (or is it evolving?): creating electronic & synthwave music, improvising folky-sounding solos and learning/practicing a musical style that has always intrigued me. I’ll try sharing my creations here and just my general thoughts, albeit a bit random at times.
