We had this elderly cat who was fully deaf, and whenever she was grouchy she would make this huffing "uff uff" noise. In French, eggs is oeuf, which sounds like uff (kinda) so we used to bully her and ask her why she was obsessed with eggs. and now whenever we're being grumbly about somethibg we just say "eggs eggs eggs"
