I have a stupid question. Why do a lot of fans assume that Walker gave Leah his bracelets? Did I miss something? Because in her last IG live when she was asked about her bracelets she clearly stated that they are hers. "Yes, these are all mine." She said. With the exception of the one Charlie gave her as a gift. So I'm kinda lost why people keep talking about them as Walker's bracelets 😭

Honestly, it's mostly just speculation based on what we've seen. There are distinct photos/videos of them wearing their own set of bracelets (Walker-blue, Leah-purple, Aryan-green), and then all of a sudden, Leah was wearing just the blue ones that match Walker's exactly. And then there was a video from an interview where he looked at her fiddling with the blue bracelets and laughing to himself.

My personal theory is either a) he did give them to her but they don't want to fuel the toxic shipping of real people that fans do so she doesn't say so or b) she stole them 😂 which I can totally see her doing and thats why she doesn't say they're his cuz technically they're hers now.

But overall, I think it's just fun speculation from the fans. Its cute to think they may have exchanged them (in a very friend way, please don't ship real people, especially kids, y'all)

Hello, lets get something EXTREMELY clear.

I am Free Palestine until the day I die. I'm not very active on this page besides posting pjo stuff, but I talk about it plenty on my twitter, insta, and in my every day life.

Watching Percy Jackson does not mean you support genocide, nor is it contributing to deaths of innocent Palestinians. Disney is not at the top of the boycott list to completely cut off. Its under the apply pressure section because its entirely too big of a franchise to just cut off, it would literally be impossible to dismantle. Thats why McDonald's and Starbucks are the two main focal points.

Be that as it may, i do not watch the show through the app as I deleted the app as soon as I saw they supported the genocide. I watch through third party options.

Whats happening in Gaza right now is absolutely atrocious and disgusting and I would NEVER in my life support such atrocities. I'm definitely not perfect, but I do what I can in my every day life to support the people of Gaza, spread information, and call for a ceasefire. And I pray every day that they get one soon.

With that said, I encourage everyone to call their representatives and demand a ceasefire. If you can, donate to places that will help those who want to or have already escaped Gaza and need help. Make sure to keep up with whats happening. The last thing you should be doing is turning away from the atrocities because the people of Gaza need us now more than ever. And talk to the people in your life about what is happening and how they can help too.

On that post about Annabeth's hair, is there something about black people's hair that needs coverage/protection when going to bed? (Sorry if this comes across as a stupid question, but I'm a white guy and I'm not going to pretend I know everything)

Hi! This question isn't stupid at all. I'm not sure how long this has been sitting in my inbox as I don't check it often, so sorry if this is really late.

The simple answer is naturally curly hair is more susceptible to damage and breakage. Especially when being brushed or combed, getting wet, rubbing on non silk fabrics. It can all cause long term damage to curly hair. So delicate care is needed to preserve healthy hair. Most fabrics are not good for curly hair, or really any kind of hair in general, because they absorb the moistureand oils from your hair that keep it healthy. Wearing silk wraps or bonnets on our heads when we sleep keeps damage to a minimum, helps our natural oils stay in tact, keeps strands moisturized, and our hairstyles preserved.

It also ties into why black women wear braids or locs. Besides it just being a style we find fashionable, its a way to protect our hair for long periods of time without constant manipulation of brushing it and whatnot.
