She is a duelist in the duel games who fights so she can become a prince! (But is that really such a good idea?); This show is my favorite this ever and she has so much gender inside her. So much. Lesbian and butch in training. By the end I'm in tears and I want her to be okay. She's so powerful but in the end how powerful can any of us be?
Was battle girlfriends with Anthy. Beat other students in sword duels to “win” Anthy.

She wields a sword and chakram. Just had to submit a biconic swordswoman.
i love her. she made me gay as a kid. Anyway, her weapon of choice is her sword, she is obviously very good with it

The battle to determine who the best ballet dancer character of all time is!
Rules:
No real people!
Despite the name, this competition is not exclusive to ladies, characters of all genders are allowed in. :)
The submitted character must canonically be a ballet dancer.
The character does not need to be seen dancing on screen to be submitted.
You may submit multiple characters from one series, but only one submission per character!

WORLDWIDE MEDIA TOURNAMENT
are you an anime fan? a fan of cdramas, kdramas, or donghuas? do you like bollywood, nollywood, teledramas, or reading webnovels and other translated books? are you tired of seeing everything you like either lose tournaments before round 2 to western media, not make it in in the first place, or get everyone in the tags to be like 'who tf is this anime boy lol'? if ANY of these, this tournament may be for you!!!
the rules:
the tournament will have at most ONE piece of media each for the USA, england, australia, canada, and new zealand! (you can submit your american shows if you want, and the one with the most submissions will get in!)
otherwise, it's not a one-per-country deal; i'll make sure there's not, like, eleven animes and nothing from the whole continent of africa, but otherwise, go crazy!
you CAN submit popular things that have done well in other tournaments, like omniscient reader's viewpoint; this isn't about being obscure, just being diverse!
it's got to have been published in/primarily made by the country it's from; for example, mulan 1998 is a good movie but it wouldn't count for china, and despite iron widow's strong ties there in both the story and the author's chinese heritage, it was published in canada so it wouldn't be. movies like monsoon wedding and district 9, that are co-productions, are the exceptions!
this is like the tumblr's favorite tv show tournament, where it'll be the whole piece of media rather than a character; but i might run more later!
this tournament is brought to you by the maker of holy-war-bracket, girlfailure-bracket, and mixed-race-matchups! i used the same blog for all of those, but my follower count has got a bit unwieldy and intimidating, so i'm moving over here for now! just know i am an experienced bracket runner who likes to have fun with my tournaments 👍 i also like to keep them fairly small, so this will PROBABLY have 64 contestants, but i may expand depending on how it goes!
