Meet Jennifer and Juniper. They’re both 7 months-old. Jennifer has mildly twisted rear legs and is sponsored by Stefani Kraus. Juniper has no special needs and is sponsored by Alex Huie. SNAP Cats rescued these sisters from Santa Cruz, CA. Jennifer and Juniper are typical kittens: running, playing, climbing, and wanting to be in your lap for pets and attention. WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!

Bea is 2 years 10 months-old and sponsored by Leah Hennen. SNAP Cats rescued Bea from Oakland, CA. Bea does not have any special needs because she came to us bonded with her brother, Bertie, who is a dwarf kitty with ataxia. Once they were here for a while, the two de-bonded (is that a word?), and Bertie was adopted in November 2021.

Bea is the typical, playful cat who can’t seem to run out of energy. Bea LOVES to chase the spring toy. Keeps her entertained for hours. Bea will make a wonderful addition to any family who has a cat or two about her age. If you don't have a cat or two, we can also help with that!

Please note that Bea underwent GS-441524 treatment for FIP in the beginning of 2022. Since her treatment ended in March 2022, her response to the treatment has been extremely positive. Bea shows absolutely no signs of FIP at all. Although we can’t guarantee she won’t develop FIP again (we can’t guarantee ANY cat won’t develop FIP), we’re almost certain that she won’t since she's gone more than two years without any signs of it returning.

BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Meet Clyde. He's 1 year 8 months-old and sponsored by Amber Wells. SNAP Cats rescued Clyde from Kings County (CA). When Clyde first arrived with his sister, Bonnie, they were very bonded. Since then, the two have gradually de-bonded (there’s that word again!), and Bonnie was adopted!

Clyde can be a bit skittish to begin with, but once he gets to know you, he’ll warm up quickly, especially if there’s food involved! Despite missing both back paws, Clyde gets around great. His legs stay sore-free, so they shouldn’t be an issue in the future. Clyde did have a hematoma on his ear, thus the crinkling, but it’s healed, and we think adds a bit of character.

This is beautiful girl is Lotus. She’s 11 months-old and is sponsored by Teresa Edwards. Lotus was born with her rear knees on backwards! Does she care? NO! Lotus gets around just fine and uses the litter box 100% of the time. Okay. Sometimes she comes up a bit short of getting in. But she really tries so we give her an "A" for effort! Lotus is extremely friendly and will follow you around for attention and pets. She gets along well with the others here, and will make a great addition to any family with or without cats.

Meet Teddy & Bear. These identical twins are going to be 6 years-old on the 16th. Both kitties are sponsored by Stephanie Upton. SNAP Cats rescued these two from Sacramento, CA. Teddy & Bear (and Topper) are here because their dad passed away and they needed a CH-friendly rescue to take them. Both are very friendly and vocal. They let you know when they want attention! Teddy’s & Bear’s CH is moderate-to-severe, but they get around just fine. However, both kitties are currently not using the litter box . Don't know why. But on the bright side, they do hit the same spot(s) every time, so they are predictable. Teddy & Bear are bonded so we’d like to see them adopted together. (We’d really like to see all three go together, but we know that’s a longshot.) Both kitties get along great with the other kitties here, so they would fit in nicely with your current kitties.

He’s always ready for pets and attention, and if you’re seated on the ground, Benny will crawl into your lap, curl up and sleep until woken. Benny’s twisted front legs (radial hypoplasia or radial agenesis, take your pick) doesn’t prohibit him from anything, even climbing stairs. GiGi is 5 years 8 months-old and sponsored by Michael Snider. SNAP Cats rescued GiGI from Palm Springs, CA. This girl is all Calico! And you know what THAT means. Sweet one minute; not so sweet the next. Age has mellowed her, though. Gigi's more sweet now, but she still has that edge that makes calicos, well, calicos. The perfect home? A calm, kid-free environment with a high perch and a window to watch the birds outside would be ideal. Oh, and wet food. GiGi LOVES wet food. Gotta have that! The right flavor, of course. Which varies from day to day.... hour to hour. Of course.

This is Copper. He’s 3 years 7 months-old and sponsored by Chelsea Warren. SNAP Cats rescued Copper from Oakland, CA. Despite his age, Copper still plays like a 3 month-old kitten. He loves to chase things, especially spring toys. He LOVES spring toys. They’ll keep him occupied for hours. Copper gets along well with other kitties, and loves human attention. He can get overstimulated when being pet, but Copper’s much better now than he was when he first arrived.

Copper tries to use the litter box some of the time. However, there will be some mess on the floor so that’s something to keep in mind. And you’ll need to keep an eye on his backside as he scoots around on it and it can get irritated.

This handsome man is Ross. He’s 5 years 4 months-old and sponsored by Amber Wells. SNAP Cats rescued Ross from Fresno, CA. For being 5+ years-old, Ross is a very mellow man. It’s as if he’s practicing for his senior years. Ross is very friendly with people, and most other cats. Only exception are cats who get in his face. Then he’s not so nice. Just defending himself. No stalking or aggressive behavior. Ross will fit in nicely with a family who either has other cats or not.

Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Ross will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of him.

This handsome man is TJ. He's 17+ years-old and a very sweet senior. TJ was surrendered at a local shelter by a woman who claimed he was a stray. Naturally, the shelter scanned for a microchip and found that he had one. (I think you know where this story is going). Turns out, TJ was registered to the woman who brought him in.

Busted!

Anyway, no way the shelter is going to make the woman take the cat back. And a shelter is no place for a senior cat, so we took TJ to give him a nice, comfy space with lots of room, windows, and plush beds… and people who really want him!

We’re not sure if Stanley will use the litter box all of the time, but he makes an effort to go there… sometimes. Since he’s been here he’s gained a bit more control of his functions. Rufio doesn't have Manx Syndrome, but it's the closest description for what he does have. Rufio pees in the box, but poop just sorta-kinda falls out whenever it feels like it. Needless to say, Rufio's kind of a messy kitty. Rufio's on Miralax to keep him regular, and he takes it like a champ with his wet food! Other than that, he's a normal, healthy, playful, active kitty who loves laps and attention (and those spring toys... LOVES those spring toys!).
