WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!
Bea is 2 years 8 months-old and sponsored by Leah Hennen. SNAP Cats rescued Bea from Oakland, CA. Bea does not have any special needs because she came to us bonded with her brother, Bertie, who is a dwarf kitty with ataxia. Once they were here for a while, the two de-bonded (is that a word?), and Bertie was adopted in November 2021.
Bea is the typical, playful cat who can’t seem to run out of energy. Bea LOVES to chase the spring toy. Keeps her entertained for hours. Bea will make a wonderful addition to any family who has a cat or two about her age. If you don't have a cat or two, we can also help with that!
Please note that Bea underwent GS-441524 treatment for FIP in the beginning of 2022. Since her treatment ended in March 2022, her response to the treatment has been extremely positive. Bea shows absolutely no signs of FIP at all. Although we can’t guarantee she won’t develop FIP again (we can’t guarantee ANY cat won’t develop FIP), we’re almost certain that she won’t since she's gone more than 22 months without any signs of it returning.
If you’re interested in Bea please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

This is one of the best videos I have on Cole playing fetch. He loves the little foam balls. He brings them to me whenever he wants to play. I’m so grateful to all of you that supported us through his FIP journey! He would not be here without your generous support! ❤️

Hey friends! My fur nephew (aka my sister's cat) is just about the sweetest little bundle of joy I've ever met in my life. He was recently diagnosed with FIP, a fatal disease that has affected him neurologically. It inhibits his ability to gain weight, walk, and use the litter box, among other things. This little guy is a fighter, though, and he has started a non FDA approved treatment trial that has a 90% success rate. Because of the lack of FDA funding for this medication, the cost is very expensive and hard to access. After just a few days of treatment, this little man has shown remarkable improvement, and we are asking anyone who might be willing to donate to his go fund me and help spread it around! Every penny, like, share, and reblog helps to share his story. We’re trying for a miracle, and Bucky is fighting hard!! Thank you for reading, and please please share 🙏

Here is a little update photo comparison! Top photo is back in December (9.2lbs) and bottom photo is today (10.8lbs). It’s amazing to see all the progress he has made! I’m so proud of him, and myself if I’m being honest. This has been absolute hell, but I have remained strong so I could fight for Salem to have an amazing life. We are so close to being done. Originally his treatment got extended for 2 weeks and I went in today for his follow up blood work. His treatment was extended because his globulin levels were still a bit too high (5.6). When cats enter observation they should have globulin levels below 5, or at least that’s what I’ve come to understand. With that 2 week extension, his dosage went up as well. I’m feeling really good about it today. I feel almost certain that we will be cleared for observation tomorrow.

Maples cousin Mikey (black cat in picture) has FIP which is essentially feline coronavirus (please do your own research I’m just being brief here) there are three types that I know of wet, dry, and neural.
Wet is more deadly. But Mikey has dry/ neural
Tumblr media
Most vets will tell you that it is not treatable and that it’s a death sentence but that doesn’t have to be the case.
If you google FIP Warriors it will show you a webpage and a face book group that will help you treat your kitten/cat. It is expensive since you will be paying for months worth of treatment.
Mikey is currently being treated. From what I know he is doing better.

Hi all!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Kira. He is seven months old and he was diagnosed with FIP last week. I thought he had an upper respiratory infection and was not expecting this diagnosis. FIP is very fatal if left untreated and he’s currently receiving pills for it. He has ocular symptoms as well which means he needs a higher dosage. I am at a loss because I love him so much and unfortunately I am struggling with getting him his meds. He needs meds for 84 days and I was only able to get him enough for ten more days. Treatment is costing about $500 a week and I’m trying to fundraise as much as I can. I have high hopes for this little one and I’m hoping that this can reach people. Thank you so much for reading this, I appreciate any help.

Please help me save my cat’s life. She’s only 1.5 years old and was diagnosed with FIP, an almost 100% fatal disease. More info in the GoFundMe.
