There’s a couple of maybes here.

I’m slow to get started on drawing, but after that I finish quite quickly. That time is usually not spent staring at a blank canvas but it’s usually something similarly unproductive. I use references sometimes when I get stuck on a difficult pose and while I know colour theory I rarely think about it.

Magus was once a human wizard with boundless, overflowing magical power. One day they came upon a primordial magical artifact, an Origin, and claimed its power. That proved too much for their earthly vessel to contain, consuming it until their form was that of an elemental. With the power of the Origin at their disposal, Magus left reality to explore their new powers, forming new pocket realities on a whim, enjoying the creative freedom. It would be a long time until Magus would get bored, for the pocket realities were temporary and imperfect compared to the one they had lived in.
