ZoSan Boxer Au

I am not too proud! I know when to ask for help... some of y’all may have seen my post a couple weeks ago about the pro-boxer Zoro x Nutritionist chef Sanji AU.

Well, I’ve started it but I’m only a little into Skypeia in the anime so I’m having a hard time placing characters' roles in this AU. Does anyone want to help me brainstorm?

So far we’ve got:

Zoro = Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight professional boxer

Sanji = Nutritionist/ Personal chef

Luffy= championship featherweight boxer

And honestly, everything else is kind of up in the air still!!

I was going to have Nami as the boxing Team’s manager or maybe the PR specialist.

I was thinking of having Usopp train in the gym with them but the poor guy is just really scared of getting hit so he hasn’t made a boxing debut yet.

Robin… eeehh? Could be a professional boxer or could be something more administrative

Chopper as a team physician makes sense but I don’t know how he translates to a modern AU. Kind of tempted to keep him a lil reindeer and let that be totally normal since it’s my AU and I can do whatever, right?

Does anyone want to help me out? What do I do with Robin? Where do Vivi, Frankie, and others fit in? Does the gym have coaches? Shanks? Hawks?

Realizing I have 18 unfinished works in my Google Drive. Why can't I ever just write a short silly little story? I always end up turning them into novel-length fics.

That being said, does anyone have any writing requests or prompts for me? I want to start writing drabbles again to get my writing juices flowing. I sometimes get discouraged when working on my long stories and need a pick me up. Right now I'm mainly writing for Baldurs Gate and in love with bloodweave and halstarion.

I’m brainstorming a modern au and can’t wait to finish the first chapter to share it so here we go:

Zoro and Luffy (among others) are pro boxers within the same agency, train at the same gym and all of that. Zoro is climbing the ranks as a cruiserweight boxer and Luffy is the reigning featherweight champion.

Sanji was recently hired by their gym as a nutritionist to help some of the a-list boxers manage their weight between matches, cut, and bulk. Specially Luffy is trying to bulk up to go up a weight class and Zoro is oscillating between cruiser and light heavyweight and they both eat like teenage boys so sanji has his work cut out for him.

The thing I’m stuck on: whether or not this should be

A) a poly fic with established zolu and developing zosan

Or B) just focused on Zosan and Luffy is just an aroace king

Baldur's Gate brought me back from the dead. I'm obsessed with this pairing and so I'm writing so many little stories with heartbreak, healing, romance, and smvt. I still have so many ideas.
