I am genuinely surprised I didn't get any comments about the scene where Steven immediately turns pink in the face when Jasper backs him up against a wall and slams her hands around him.

Wait.. how did Steven die? It was mentioned that Steven died and then got revived in this AU, so.. what killed him in the first place?

He died of Broken Heart Syndrome.

5th image was originally going to be the front cover but I decided against it due to it being too much of a "shock value" cover.

The last image shows the whole heart scar on his chest, symbolizing the way he died.

The reference sheet of Magenta above the last image is a "new revamped" version. But I am torn between this new design and the old one. (now I'm debating on if it should be one of "many" progression forms leading to the "older" design of Magenta.)

Oh damn! How far are you into this comic? That's some pretty clean line work!

I'm not too far into the comic tbh. I usually bounce between different scenarios/plot points in my sketches and see what sticks.

I'm done with the next update, it's in the cinema format with the black bars fully colored/shaded/highlighted.

What's holding me back rn is that I'm legit redoing one of the old SU backgrounds so that it matches SU: Future. Have a look at my progress!

I will say that Rose's Room has a LOT to contribute to what happened to Steven. Pink Steven contributed too, but it's less, and more of a... reflection. Remember the Connie Replica? Remember how the room changed when Steven talked to Replica Rose? Lots of pieces to fit together here!

Blue Diamond will be able to help you guys and answer all questions later when Steven goes to her.

Now how she's able to answer will be something that you guys have to theorize on! Have fun!

Mod Omni: The next page is in the works right now. I'm almost done with it. I'm not giving up on this comic so you don't have to worry any. I just like to take my time with the process of doing the pages. I really like making sure that the pages look good and that they look good to me.

To answer your question, Magenta Diamond still retains some of his humanity. But due to his death and overall frame of mind, He is a type of monster. But not the one that's in the show. This one is different, and I think you all are going to like it very much.

There's a very big reason why people simp for him on my servers. It's pretty hilarious.
