the more i think about it, the more i realize that i honestly don't think cia's this lifeless being that most people tend to think she is. how someone such as myself managed to even come to the conclusion was after i replayed skyward sword and master quest a couple of months ago.
in otherwords, i honestly think cia is descendent of one of the seven sages, particularly rauru who hailed within the temple of time (saria could be another possibility however that one's debatable). as i began recalling some of the other zelda games, there has always been those who come and go as they watched over the triforce. as for instance, the one closest to the triforce and watching over its balance was none other than the sage of light, rauru. not much is known about him but from a glance of his outfit, it is prevalent that he hails from a magical background. when he met link, he already knew so much about the eras of time and whatnot, almost as if he witnessed them all at once. now i feel that when a sage accepts their role, they are blessed with additional powers from the goddesses. i feel that rauru was blessed to see through all ages hence why he knew so much.
now, how to connect it with cia? it is possible that cia could have came from the same clan rauru came from, hence being a sorceress of light (before the permanent split yes, it is permanent friends). i feel that since she was particularly the one who was chosen by hylia to endure the former guardian's job of watching over the triforce's balance (since they do age), when blessed with additional powers, she became intrigued and started witnessing all eras of time whenever she pleased. in retrospect, cia became like a child at a candy store. she couldn't interfere with it however became really intrigued by one particular soul, link's. since she became so enamoured with it, cia mainly focused on link instead of learning about more key events, which explains why she didn't know the obvious sheik is zelda thing. i mean, if she really was an ageless being, she would have known this by now and seen it coming a long time ago. at the most, i honestly think cia's the same age as link and zelda. meanwhile, lana (the personified light of hers) looks around to be the age of fourteen, fifthteen at the most (i lean towards the former).
since most teens are extremely vulnerable and easy to influence, when cia read too much into link and zelda's relationship as companions (i can see them getting together in a few eras but not all), this allowed for ganondorf's spirit fragment to easily get a hold of her and manipulate her since she was extremely vulnerable at the time. like i said, if she really was a ageless being, she would have known zelda was sheik a while ago and probably would have been more wise like veran to be quite honest. with history, you cannot easily learn all of it in one sitting, especially since it can take years to grasp a full unserstanding of it otherwise cia would have known that she works under zelda and about the whole sheik thing.
another reason i came to this weird idea is because at the end of ocarina of time, ruto never reverted back to a child. instead, she was an adult and already knew darunia at that point. in hyrule warriors, because the two sages knew one another, it looked like it took place post oot meanwhile skyward sword and majora's mask (the biggest plothole in that game with midna) took place during their respective games.
overall, it's quite a silly thing to think about, but it's my headcanon nevertheless.

i know this isn’t related to any musings/headcanons of sort but my, this is quite adorable. tell ignitious that they got me shipping this now.  maybe i should consider doing crossover muses as well at some point.
Tumblr media
I haven’t drawn anything in the longest time, so I decided to break the mold by drawing something relevant to this blog’s interest. Seeing how we already have a good amount of LuPittoo fanart, I’ve decided why not do one of the other pairings and thus, resulted in drawing the strategical minds. Enjoy. ps. This took forever but now my hand could finally be at ease. :D
….. I’m going to refrain from literally keyboard mashing my happiness. I absolutely adore this and I got really excited when I saw this in the inbox yesterday.  Robin is obviously standing on an step stool to be at Cia’s eye level, seeing how I headcanon her to be about 6ft(she’s pretty tall in HW too) This is amazing! :D

name origins and some possible headcanon ideas
hello folks. sorry if i haven't mused anything in a while but my academic studies managed to get in the way, hence forbidding me to draw or even think of anything.
i however, did manage to do some searching(i'll warn you, when you look up the said name in an certain way, an trollfic that also ultiizies it pops up as well) and learned where cia's name derived from.
the name cia derived from the name kynthia, an alternative name for the greek goddess artemis. the name means "divinity of the moon" or "being stationed with the moon."
in my opinion, it makes complete sense, seeing how her theme song,"eclipse of the moon" well, ties in with the moon. her other half, lana's name has something to do with the sun, hence i see the two sorceress' as the sun and the moon in a sense.
now of course, knowing me, this influenced me to look more into the greek goddess herself and inspired some headcanons for cia. now, i personally see the original guardian of time's name as just being cia, but i don't mind if others vary it as lancia, lanaca, cilana, or you can throw kynthia in the mix now or even artemis if you want to go there.
anyways, from reading up a bit on the greek goddess, for me anyways, i developed headcanons based upon these traits.
before taking the task her grace gave upon her, cia pledged eternal chastity, forever bounding herself to remain a virgin, otherwise falling in love, having an infatuation of some sorts will only cause her to become vulnerable and allow outside influences to engulf her heart and take over, which does happen.
 - how i've managed to come up with it is because how i view her before gazing her eyes upon the hero's spirit, cia just did her job. she never realized how lonely it really was and had an good understanding and knowledge of the world even though she never interacted or experienced it. then, seeing link's spirit began making her feel all kinds of emotions she's never experienced before, so it was something she never learned how to handle. same with her jealous of the beautiful princess.
in terms of before corruption, again going off of artemis traits i feel suit her character(for me), she's fiercely independent, compassionate and known for her gifted healing powers(which are separated into lana).
 - i can see her in her previous life being born with gifted talents, specifically healing powers that the rest of the clan didn't have. because of these powers, it was believed that the goddesses have chosen her and of course, led the people to worship her. and when there are people who idolize you not because of who you are but because of your magical talents, there are also people who will be spiteful towards you because they want the attention themselves.
cia was often extremely caring of children and animals in her previous ife before being chosen by hylia.
 - surprisingly, when i've read this, i couldn't unsee it so i had to apply it. seeing how young link's an dlc, it just added more fuel to the fire as i can see her soothing him from his nightmares at night. in her previous life, i would say that she loved animals and children not only because how pure they were but also since they weren't tainted by dark thoughts, sins and other bad traits like grown ups were. they weren't able to fully establish an negative opinion on her, hence why she loved them. i say this because honestly, if someone was chosen by the gods/goddesses and it wasn't me, i would be pretty envious as well.
now going to share off another headcanon that's not related to artemis, but while i'm going on about headcanons, i might as well share it.
i'd like to think before she split off and her light turned into another being, she was pure hearted, innocent and kind. due to having barely any contact outside of life nor friends before taking upon the sacred task, cia was extremely shy to the point where she could never confess to anyone about her feelings or even know that you can't get what you want in life. so like an child, she believed that when something really fascinated her, it was hers for the taking.
 - i can see her during her fascination with link, traveling back just to get an closer glimpse of her crush however, she couldn't muster a word no matter how much she tried. it makes sense, seeing how link never knew she even existed and sometimes, shyness gets the best of us all.
 - now for the second part, i always believed no matter how knowledgeable you are about something doesn't mean that the social skills are up to par. seeing how she was isolated for the longest time, i like to believe the reason why she was also envious/jealous of zelda was because when she first set eyes upon link's soul, she felt that since she saw it first, it was hers just like an young child. it caused her infatuation to grow deeper until one day, she saw that he was always by zelda's side, regardless. knowing how children are when you take something that means a lot to them away from them(especially an comfort toy, which honestly people should never take away), they get extremely upset, angry and feel all kinds of bitter emotions. that, and i believe that she would have also treated her subordinates more like how ganondorf treated ghirahim and zant if she had outside contact.
that's it for now. i'm revamping my post about if hyrule warriors played more like an actual zelda game instead and surprisingly, got three different options developed which need their own separate posts, one being if it did follow on hijacked by ganon theme and another, paying homage to one of my other favorite villains, vaati. note that if you like these headcanons,
feel free to word them in your own way and use them. if you view something in an different way, feel free to reword it as how you see fit as well. after all, we all are bound to different opinions. :)

this is absolutely adorable. i've really enjoyed the little headcanon you've added to go along with it. i always am found of how others view characters in the zelda series, to include non-canon, especially those who lacked in background/full development to begin with. from how i'm interpreting it, i feel that especially with the last tidbit, gives an heavily good explaination to why cia began feeling those bitter emotions towards zelda. it hurts to be forgotten by a friend whom you held dearly to your heart, even more so continue to grow more melancholic by each passing day due to being bound to your own duties. i've really enjoyed reading the little story/headcanon and honestly wished there were more out there that expanded on cia's background/character.

Alright children, it’s shitty doodle + stupid headcanon time
(whipped this up real quick just to illustrate)
Cia, as a child, was from a family that was entrusted to take care of the Temple of Hylia (Sealed Temple) and the Statue of the Goddess. Because of that, she was in constant contact with the goddess and often ran into her as she went about doing her chores. Hylia, always so kind, kept the girl updated on the events outside, seeing as she never left the temple area, and told her stories of her brave hero, which made young Cia admire him and develop a crush on him.
By the time the war happened, Cia was already a young adult. Having decided to shed her immortality off, the goddess passed it to Cia and entrusted her to watch over the Triforce after her chosen hero retrieved it from its hiding place. Hylia spent her last days inside her temple, being taken care by her successor, so to speak, who tried to delay the inevitable.
After her passing, Cia lingered in the Temple of Hylia for some more years before finally leaving to roam the surface alone. On her own, she sought after a secluded place to reside where she could watch over the balance of the Triforce and wait for the chosen hero in peace. With her newly acquired powers, she forged the Scepter of Time and practiced to become strong enough to protect the relic shall she need it.
Years passed and she forgot many things about Hylia, but still remembered few of her good traits. From inside the ruins of an old temple, Cia watched as hero after hero came to life, and grew sorrowful that Hylia’s incarnations seemed to have forgotten her.

that is true. there's always been religious undertones in video games and whatnot, like how there's hints of racism within the fiction races and whatnot(its been a long while since ive played some games).
im curious to what the religious elements are behind cia/lana because that seemed to pass through my head.
i couldn’t help but think like how more depressing lana/cia’s background would have been and stuff if instead of going the whole “i’m the other half” thing, they decided to make them siblings instead

i couldn't help but think like how more depressing lana/cia's background would have been and stuff if instead of going the whole "i'm the other half" thing, they decided to make them siblings instead
i'm really curious because i think that if they went the cheesy sibling route(let's admit, both the other half and that's my brother/sister/etc. troupe is cliched) instead, i feel that there probably would have been more emotion, especially at cia's final scene.
like, i'd admit i cry at that scene(and still do), but i probably would have really lost it if they were actually sisters because think about it. cia would have probably been lana's role model, the one she looks up to and both of them were interested in the hero as she never left her side. then one day, sometime completely changes them, almost as if they don't remember all the good times or want anything to do with you anymore due to being corrupted/manipulated.
no, this will definitely not be like frozen where we get happy cliched ending or older sister battling internal emotions because this is someone who is completely corrupted of her own greed and desires. i can see the manipulation for a sibling version can not only be vulnerability because of jealousy but also dark feelings that have been bottled up and suppressed for the longest time now. like, what if she was jealous or even hated her sister and just tells her flat out and has no problem killing her if she has to just to obtain her own personal goal. that and it would have had both characters more dynamic, which is something i felt the game really lacked in. thats just my opinion though. the ending though would kill me because she could say possibly sorry or i love you even before taking her final breath. i would love to see alternative hw fics where instead of them being halves of one another, its siblings and whatnot.

i've just heard(i'm really hoping this is true please be true)koei said that lana is the main representative(mascot) of nintendo warriors games and that if there are more of them(like fire emblem warriors(one i really, really want), kid icarus warriors, super mario warriors, etc). that she will be involved in it similar to HW.
if this is true, hopefully in future nintendo musou games, don't follow the same storyline HW had and perhaps give her some depth. i love her as a character but i feel that the story didn't really do their exclusive zelda muso characters much justice. im sure cia was an zelda muso exclusive but i would be surprised if she wasnt.
this also pretty much gives me the hint that if they do end up doing ssb character dlcs besides mewtwo, lana has a better chance of showing up since she's the nintendo musou rep.

managed to doodle a little something. decided to doodle a little lana(i would say she's about five) in a modern AU setting. while at it, let me share three different modern AU headcanons for this. 1) lana is born into a rich family but unfortunately her parents don't have time for her or rather treat her like a pet they never wanted. they buy her all these toys, books and all the things any other child would kill for, however this eventually bores the young girl. she tries to engage with her family but to no avail, her efforts fail. feeling lonely, she wishes on a shooting star for someone to play with. that night, it is discovered that the young child has special powers, creating a double(or clone) whom she convinced herself was her twin sister. lana decides to name her cynthia, calling her cia for short.       -note: ive recently discovered that the name cia is actually a nickname         for cynthia which i find really surprising. its cute for a modern au 2) she is the younger sister of cia, being five-six years apart. her older sister finds her to be a bother, always convincing her somehow to go away when she wants to play with her. cia tries her best to ward off her advances whether it consists of telling her about a magical land inside a wardrobe, a jungle in their backyard or even telling her about monsters. this causes cia to get in trouble a lot as her mother tells her to be nice to her little sister and play with her. as much as cia finds lana to be quite irritating, she is protective of her when she needs to be.
3) lana is twin sisters with cia, often overshadowed by her twin. during the beginning years, both sisters had a close relationship but as the years passed, cia began to grow an ego, becoming rather cold. she'd begin to tease her sister, nickpicking everything from her appearance to even her habits. this causes her younger sister to have low self confidence as she always compares herself to cia. if they were to have a crush on the same guy, cia threatens her, often causing lana to back down as sister knows best. she gets to the point where she gives up caring about herself, trying to not be noticed while cia is getting all the attention, even posing for magazines. in high school, cia is extremely popular while lana is barely noticed or even talked to. lana notices her sister plays a facade, knowing deep down that she's manipulative, greedy and attention hungry. little did lana know, she caught the interest of none other than cia's crush, link.
i would have drawn more and whatnot but its pretty late here so i'm going to go to bed. if anyone feels like expanding, drawing or even writing a story influenced by any of these, feel free. i really don't mind at all and for some reason, i really enjoy modern AUs.

i for one, would absolutely love to read this fanfic if you ever do go on with it. the story was heavily disappointing as i honestly felt that they could have done so much more with the characters, even let alone make lana have some negative traits(jealousy, etc.) i recall rambling once(it can be found on my blog here) different possibilities on how different HW would have actually been if it had a more LoZ oriented storyline rather than a dynasty/samurai warriors one. i need to rewrite a more clear version, seeing how its scrambled and i wrote it on two hours of sleep. like, there's so many things that aren't even explained like what was proxi's purpose even or why was cia after the faeries?! also, i thought the obsession with link was kind of well, ludicrous. it would have been so much better if her desire would have been for the triforce instead seeing how it could grant her any wish she desired. plus, i would like to at least see a deity like being who wasn't always "pure" and "good at heart" honestly. if you do tackle on an AU HW fanfic, perhaps we can actually see the clan of sorcerers and whatnot and learn about cia's past and what lead up to her current state of mind. maybe she originally didn't want to be tasked with maintaining the balance of the triforce, who knows. but yeah, i'm definitely looking forward to any rewrite of the story that doesn't follow the game and better more, actually makes the story a whole lot better.
Musings on How I Could Transform Hyrule Warriors Into A Hideously Long Fanfiction
Hyrule Warriors spoilers ahead, mixed with fanfiction musings:
On the one hand, Hyrule Warriors would be difficult for me to make a good fanfiction out of because the storyline is so disappointingly done. Like I would really have to think about how to change Cia’s storyline. I just don’t think I would want to write her with a Link obsession at all. So obviously it would have to be an AU. I mean, it would have to be an AU for me anyway because the entire concept mucks around with time way too much, but at least changing that part doesn’t require recharacterization.  On the other hand, I like a challenge.
What’s left if you take away the Link obsession are the concepts of balance and imbalance, which are what I think should have been focused more on in the game. Since they weren’t, though, I’d need to change Cia’s story considerably.
Also, when considering Cia and Lana, I don’t think I’d want their split to be as simple as one of them being good and the other being evil. And so the dynamic of their interactions would be different. I think that could be very interesting. What if Lana is the part of Cia that always played by the rules, always obeyed the directives given to her, and so when she’s split off what’s left is the part of her that does things because she enjoys them or because they just feel like the right thing to do? I think that could be an interesting change while still allowing some references to the game (though with a rather different context). I think this could be something I would enjoy writing.

im definitely signing this! vaati's one of my favorite all time villains and i think he deserves a spot. also, i've discovered that this game, even thought not officially in the timeline does in fact, follow one of the zelda timeline segments(the child era leading into majora's mask). the event before oot is minish cap, so he definitely deserves to be in hw.
This is the petition with the goal to add Vaati and a playable character to Hyrule Warriors. Only 249 more people need to sign up in order to address it to Nintendo (◍•ᴗ•◍)

hmm, for some reason i can't unsee link x cia being similar to punpun and aiko's relationship in oyasumi punpun, especially in an modern au type setting cia would definitely take punpun's place as he was always fixated on aiko while link replaces aiko. it would be interesting to see a modern hw au fanfiction that is influenced by oyasumi punpun and whatnot as it can become very dark and psychological. if you haven't read it yet, i heavily recommend it! ps. another cute crossover(more likely zelda x link than anything else) idea for a modern au would be one influenced from koe no katachi(the shape of voice).

sometimes i like coming up with headcanons, even if they're AU ones. an alternative universe headcanon that i've had thought up for a while for hw is after the war, lana goes back to what is left of the valley of seers. the corrupted look is still there, even after the events because i like to believe cia wiped away all forms of life and areas near it(i have another headcanon for that which i'm going to probably share later). this causes lana to feel lonely, so with her magic, she uses it to turn the crystal ball into none other than the harp of ages itself. doing this allows her free will to roam around and travel across the lands, seeing how she can easily access time with the harp and watch over for anything suspicious. after all, she feels the need to rediscover herself and move on from prior events, just like she's moved on from link. she ends up going to labrynna and settling there, eventually meeting someone and getting married. lana ends up becoming a grandmother, even moreso taking on the mother role once more as her daughter dies from child birth while the father ran off. discovering its a girl, she decides to name it after the lanayru province, naming her nayru as she reminded her of the goddess of wisdom. pretty much, my au headcanon is lana is the grandmother of nayru from the oracle of ages. she passes down the harp to her and teaches her everything she needs to now, even informing her what can happen if is power fell into the wrong hands or if corruption happens. ps. i need to doodle out some of this stuff sometime

i just realized even though hyrule warriors isn't an official zelda game(meaning its not on the official zelda timeline), it follows the hero is successful/triumphant part of the timeline as it follows the child era as the sacred realm remains protected. i've managed to come to the conclusion since the majora's mask dlc pack is coming in january plus its a part of that timeline along with the rest that are in the game. if they were to ever do one final dlc after the last one, it will most likely be minish cap since its after skyward sword. now observing the temple of souls, cia has every link statue(oot/mm child link statue, tp wolf link statue, ss link statue) except for four swords adventures ones. it makes me wonder even though its not on the timeline, if it were somehow to be on it, the events would have taken place before four swords adventures. of course, this lead me to theorize something. i believe that in the hero is defeated timeline, since the hero's spirit died my guess is it was during the ocarina of time period where cia became curious about link. since she saw him actually fall, she couldn't handle it anymore and most likely killed herself. this would explain why in link to the past that a band of thieves were able to access the sacred realm as there was no one to maintain its balance. seven sages seal ganon and whatnot. after alttp, its oracle of ages/seasons where the goddesses have hylian incarnations. i like to believe that cia's spirit became one with the goddess of wisdom as this can explain why nayru is not only to see across ages in a sense but with being also a goddess incarnation, she has the ability to control the flow of time and actually intervene in it. its cheesy but can explain possibly why koei went the successful route with link searching for navi. ps. i have a habit for thinking too much when it comes to one of my all time favorite videogame series(with the other being fire emblem)

seeing how people seem to be enjoying characters like cia and lana there can be a possibility for them(it depends) to appear in future zelda games(i'm going to guess more of the handheld ones than anything else) because of the fact that vaati was originally a product of capcom as they helped developed four swords while nintendo only published it, just like they did with hyrule warriors. one of the only differences four swords is part of the canon timeline while hw of course, isn't. if they were to be used again, i know that major changes will have to take place such as cia's outfit, possibly lana's as well(they can use a variation of the guardian of time one), and their backstory. this however, isn't a problem as characters such as malon appeared in three other zelda games besides ocarina of time. i can most likely see them being related to one another(twins or older/younger sibling) as they are potion/item sellers and whatnot. depending if the game ever changes through night/day time, during the day you will get to buy from lana while at night cia(kinda like animal crossing, except im sure the better stuff is sold at night). the only thing major you'd probably do with them is a side quest to create better potions/item upgrades. who knows what will happen but i know if they were to get used again, nintendo redesigning their outfits will definitely be one of them(there is no need to change the hairstyle, etc.) i just felt like rambling about this since i just remembered that tidbit about vaati(mag stop thinking about cheesy ideas/theories/thoughts)

im actually surprised that people actually like my thing, even though a lot of parts didn't make sense because of running on two hours of sleep because of this, i might actually attempt to polish it and make it flow better along with possibly attempt to doodle in a zelda-like style(which one, i havent decided yet) i was having fun with it because ive noticed that some people were upset because of lack of dungeons, etc. even though miyamoto told team ninja himself to make the game like dynasty warriors, which apparently that made people mad for some reason.
i guess they dont realize there's always those what if theories that they can comply and whatnot and possibly make their own legend of zelda game with the hyrule warriors elements(new characters and the plot basis) and make their own zelda style game, comic, or even a fanfiction of it. ive seen some hw novelizations that have gone their own direction and its pretty interesting and cool.

does anyone else ponder how different the plot and development of hyrule warriors would have been if it was and had a more zeldaesque story line to it rather than a dynasty one?
or rather, a plot similar to hyrule warriors but instead, it's an actual zelda game?
in the dungeons of the past, you work with other characters as link, zelda/shiek or impa depending if a zeldaesque version would be nice enough to do that(it would be cool but im sure the default would be link, and maybe even zelda as well). who knows, they might even make the world she's on a different content and you'll have to go through different time periods of that world.
i can also see an actual sorcerer clan out somewhere as every so and so years, there's a festival of time where people outside the clan(castle town, etc.) can meet and greet the current guardian of time. i say that because thinking of ooa, nayru in that game was pretty much the orcale of time as well an hylian incarnation of the goddess herself. perhaps cia is possibly an incarnation of the sorceress who maintained the balance of the triforce, hence the clan. being born into a prestigious line, from birth, she was to study intensely about everything she needed to prepare for. she wasn't allowed to engage with others around her age, even causing them to resent her out of spite and jealously. this created her to feel lonely but depending on what backstory you want to give lana(imagination time 8D), perhaps she either met her or proxi when she was younger. this created a special bond and whatnot, so when she gets possessed and succumbs into darkness, proxi(going to be going with the first idea for lana which is the next tidbit) searches for the hero, wanting him to help her get the seer back to her senses.
im also sure her backstory(and lana's) would have been entirely different as well. instead of the fragment of ganondorf pushing out the light before he possesses her, perhaps she separates herself, knowing of her fate? she creates her other half, separating the light within so she can have link stop herself. as that happens, ganondorf's fragment manages to gain complete control of her, corrupting her completely.
another route they can go to(i like the first one) with lana is actually have her as her own entity, but perhaps someone who is obviously close to cia in a way(ill let that up to your own imagination).
for her curiosity for the hero of legend, i believe that link's ancestor's tales are told throughout the ages and archived in various forms of media outlets(children's books, history textbooks, plays, etc.) and for some reason, cia fell in love with those stories so she had the desire to meet the hero's descendant and the princess he was bound to. of course, after hearing about the story of the triforce and how it can grant one wish, the feelings she bottled up for so long started to slowly surface as she started to build a strong desire to obtain the triforce just for her selfish needs. sensing this, ganondorf's fragment comes, offering her the power she needs in order to have the sacred relic all to herself. wanting to fulfill those needs, feeling like a pawn being cooped up to watch over the eras of time by herself.
which brings me to my next thing, as much as i found her obsession with link interesting(and weird/eerie at the same time), i can see it being the triforce instead of the hero, seeing how it can grant someone good or bad their wish. no matter how good anyone can be, deep down, they harbor those dark feelings of envy, greed, desire, etc. and begin to want something for their own personal gain. and like all humans, good hearted people are extremely good at wearing a mask, playing a facade to keep others pleased.
even if she were to lust and desire for link, it will only be short lived as i honestly think she will move on, realizing that this pseudo love will only get in the way of her real goal. so she moves on, wanting to get rid of both link and zelda before they can stop her. i can also view her traveling through time, being that villain whose extremely good with words as well as being likable and manipulative. she forewarn these people, posing the hero and princess to be a threat. she's that believable. and no, she's not remorseful of her decisions either, even if she "acts" it off to mislead her enemies into sparing her life.
there will be dungeons, bosses like volga, wizzro(i would say out of all of them, you fight those two the most), king dodongo, etc.
like in hyrule warriors, she would want the triforce for her own personal gain and i honestly would find it cool if you can battle a monster version of her, just like you did with the other sorceress' in the past zelda games. like you would think she's gone as you're fighting ganondorf, but nope, she comes back and completely takes his energy away as well as(depending on how you view lana in your own interpretation) her own light back to have 100% of her powers back. since she's purely corrupted, the light does nothing as throughout the battle, link and zelda hear lana's voice guiding them, trying to help them fight against cia
in the end(since there isnt really need for ganon completely hijacking and becoming the final, final boss), they obtain the triforce. before they make their wish, cia's spirit shows up as she's in her original state before the corruption. she thanks both link and zelda for their effort and apologizes for all the bad things she has done and those she's hurt. before her spirit completely fades off, she thanks them once more and mentions how she was glad she was able to meet them. then another spirit fragment shows up, being lana.
she tells them that they must restore the world together and put the master sword back in the pedestal as they're bound to each other by fate. for this part, even though i didn't really care for this game much, i was heavily inspired by what robin/myunit said in fe13
Robin We're not pawns of some scripted fate. I believe we're more. Much more.
Chrom How do you mean?
Robin There's something between us all. Something that keeps us together... Like...invisible ties, connecting us. Giving us strength... WE forged these ties. WE strengthen them. If we preserve them, or break them, it will be by our choices, not some "destiny"...
i believe zelda will tell her spirit fragment something very similar to that, something that i kind of wished was actually done in hyrule warriors. as much as zelink is prevalent throughout most zelda games, it was absent in some and i don't think team ninja realized that??? idk, its pretty late night over here and im just rambling off of 2 hrs of sleep. feeling content, lana's spirit disappears as the the triforce grants them their wish.
besides restoring the land, they decided to make both cia and lana(or one of them)reborn once more(as a small child), however changed the rules restriction for guardians, allowing them to live life to their fullest while still being able to study/maintain their duties. ends with link and friends celebrating and enjoying the festive activities.
not all parts were included because i havent thought that far yet and i apologize if this is cheesy and dumb because it is.
this is my own interpretation of how the plot of hw would go if it was completely zelda orientated instead. i just felt like sharing this and want to see how others would turn hw into a zelda like plot line and whatnot. i would love to write an au fic on this(its technically an alternative universe if you think about it) but unfortnately i cant write. if someone really likes it a lot and feels like writing one based off this(plus you can change a few things and whatnot), feel free to do so. i would love to see an alternative story for this game if it was called legend of zelda: sorceress of time or some cheesy title like that.
once again, apologizing for being cheesy and dumb
