I met with my probation officer this afternoon. As per usual it went very well! We had to do a reassessment and turns out I'm no longer a high risk offender. I'm on the low end of the spectrum! That's no surprise though -- I'm not out running around the trap anymore lol. He also told me now that I'm in phase 4 he'd like to see me be a mentor to the women who are just starting out in drug court. Wow. What an honor! Before I left he asked me if I ever saw myself being one of his prime examples of a successful drug court participant and I honestly never thought I could reshape my life into what it is now.

Haha side note -- he told me a female officer saw me walking up on the cameras and she told him that its crazy seeing me the way I look now. She said I finally look human. Bruh when I entered drug court I was a HOT MESS. I could show y'all some examples of my crackhead lookin ass but I'll save those for my upcoming 1 year clean post lol.

Yesterday was a productive day! I spent my morning at Rotary Park volunteering. We replaced all the recycled rubber in the playground. It was a lot of work but there was enough of us there to get it done in a jiffy 💓 Afterwards Bret and I did a bit of shopping. Sigh. I splurged on myself (again) and spent most of my paycheck. I don't feel too bad about it this time though because I paid ALL of my bills first and my drug tests are covered for the next two weeks. Shopping has been my go to dopaminemaker since getting clean lol. Then I had to work the rest of the night. We had a great close last night. No complaints, no Karen's. Everything went as smooth as butter. Ahhh, I love life.

I had to attend our biannual drug court graduation this afternoon. We had graduates from Havasu, Kingman, and Bullhead. When Judge William's went up to announce the Bullhead City graduates, he said he had one surprise phase promotion to hand out. It was me! 🤪 I felt a bit embarrassed because he started out by saying it was meant for someone they didn't believe would make it this far in the program. I'm glad he worded it the way he did because we have a lot of new people in phase 1 who might need the extra motivation and inspiration. I know when I first entered drug court I struggled because I thought I could somehow juggle being successful while actively partaking in my addiction. Any who, I'm super proud of myself and I can't wait to reach phase 5!

Don't worry it's just vape smoke lol. One of the ways I was able to get clean initially was by picking up a new habit/hobby! I chose vaping because I needed to have something to do with my hands and something to satisfy my oral fixation. My only regret is not starting out with 0 nicotine because I never smoked cigarettes and now I have a nicotine addiction to deal with later on down the road lol.
