I mean maybe competing with Maul for Obi-Wan is what stops Anakin from becoming Vader. And then Anakin accuses Maul of wanting to sleep with Obi-Wan and Maul is judt confused as how people couldnt see the box flowers were part of his vengeance

An AU where Yoda swallows a frog in the middle of the council like Baby Yoda does and while everyone is sighing deeply Anakin takes out a pack of alive bugs like popcorn going like "cool! want to favour Master?" Anakin and Yoda bond over eating alive things. Palpatine plan fails because of their food bonding. Obi-Wan wants to retire because the tought of the Galaxy being saved by bugs-eating well... bugs him off

So there’s Palpatine, trying to win Anakin’s trust and confidence by buying him expensive candy and booze, offering to take him out to expensive dinners, but Anakin’s too busy knocking back a few bags of bugs while he plays mah jongg with his tiny green grandpa to notice. I love it.

There is actually a video about it from one of my favourite Skyrim youtubers, Zaric Zackaron. In his "What if Skyrim Was Good" serie he re-makes the Civil War as a religious war and adds the two factions of the Imperial Cult and the Nordic Temple as supporting factions of Legion/Stormcloaks. I personally think the improvvise disappereance of the totemic religion from Skyrim is more a Bethesda lazy design thing than an actual game fact (since they basically washed down everything in Skyrim to make it more accessible to the majority of players and sell more) and those videos really help in giving imput to re-imagine the CW and the role of Ysmir/Talos and other nordic gods in it.

you can’t persuade me that imperials don’t complain about the weather like they’re british

skyrim’s too cold. morrowind’s too cloudy. elsweyr’s too hot. high rock’s too windy. hammerfell’s too dry. summerset’s too sunny. black marsh is too wet

they colonised half the known world and don’t like any of it. then they go back home and complain that cyrodiil weather is too varied
