Honestly, as heart-wrenching as "I lost my best friend" is, the looks on both their faces as Crowley breaks it to Aziraphale that the bookshop burned down are somehow a thousand times sadder to me. Crowley is so sad and so sorry and Aziraphale is obviously gutted by the news but only allowing himself a moment to have a shadow of a feeling about it before getting back to business because they have an Armageddon to stop and just akdfjghdslkfgs

As a kid, I would finish my work early in order to be allowed to volunteer in the school library. It was a safe place, away from bullies. As a parent, I took my kids to the library all the time. We were pretty broke and they loved all the books, music, movies, and children's programs we could enjoy thanks to the library. Reading (& writing) stories can be an escape; but, they also teach us about the depths and heights of humanity and the world we inhabit. There is nothing more comforting and inspiring than a library.

Chapter 9 of The Band Geek and The Drama Queen is posted. I thought I would have a lot more time to write this week because of time off from work. But, I ended up traveling and have been driving. A LOT. Please don't hate me for the level of angst this week. I promise things will get better!
