I think I’ve got some more background information on Penny now.
She’s a Blackfoot (same clan as my Laurelin Minstrel Cloves). The Blackfoots are from the Southfarthing, and notorious for bringing out black sheep. Even worse than Tooks! Somehow, they give birth to Hobbits with an itch in them to be weird: explore the world, take strange jobs such as minstrelling, and generally not fit polite Hobbit society. No proper Hobbit mother would want a Blackfoot as Son/Daughter in Law!
There certainly are perfectly regular Blackfoots who look down their noses at those black sheep and try to fit in with society as good as they can, but the Blackfoot blood will come out in even the most respectable families sometimes. Pennywort is definitely one of those black sheep.
Since she’s taken to minstrelling rather recently, she is currently constantly out of coin and will play (or promise to stop playing, in some cases) for food, drink or a place to sleep.

3. What do you know about this character that she would never admit?
She’s just a big scaredy-hobbit! She is a lot less self-secure than she makes out to be. In fact she’s quivering in fear about not being good enough every time she’s going somewhere where she might be asked to perform. She really wants to make it big but deep in her heart she’s worried about actually not being a good artist.
She’s also scared of everything when fighting and doesn’t really want to hurt anyone. She usually scares off evil things by screaming at the top of her voice until it goes away!
5. If this character could choose a different identity, who would she be?
Pop star by day, crime fighter by night! :D
No, actually Penny would like to be someone posh and elegant, possibly a harp-playing lady, but it’s just not in her nature ^^ The Blackfeet black sheep are always cheerful, loud and unorthodox hobbits (I keep saying Penny’s cousin Cloves would be a little punk rocker if she was living in a reallife AU. Haven’t quite figured out yet what Penny would be!).
6. What music does this character sing to when no one else is around?
Her own music of course! She’s always humming little tunes of her own, trying out harmonies and composing little silly nonsensical songs.
34. Describe a recurring dream or nightmare this character might have.
I don’t think Penny has performance anxiety nightmares (especially since she’s not afraid of discovering she’s naked on a stage, hur hur :P) but she does have recurring dreams of how great it would be if she was famous! Performing, being the center of attention and being filthy rich, mostly. And possibly then finding out it was all a dream, and being horribly disappointed. Or finding out that she was secretly working for the Witch King, and if she didn't keep on being famous, all her friends would be tortured in the mines of Angmar! Or that pies were outlawed! Or something!

Congratulations to everyone, we’ve made it to Rank 7! And you know what that means…
Kinhouse!
We will be officially christening our beautiful home on the 4th of September, starting at 10 AM EST. We will be meeting in Duillond, and then parading to the house together!
Please wear your finest armor or clothes, and be ready to party! Food, drink, music, and laughs will be provided, of course, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Fireworks are welcome, as are those silly toys you get at festivals that have strange effects on others!
Any and all are welcome to join us, not just those of the Society!
As a reminder, we will be using the Nen Chithui housing neighborhood as our “official” kin neighborhood. Many of you have moved in already, but there is plenty of space for everyone!
NOTE: ALL MEBSERS:
Please please PLEASE DO NOT port to the house before the party. I will be using the day or two before the party to get the house ready for us. This includes buying storage and decorations, as well as having a few things set up. You will be granted the “kinhouse” skill before the party, you should see it come up on your quickslots. Please resist temptation, and do not use it.
