With all that is being said about Modern Warfare 2 it seems like the game will still be a great hit once it is officially out on November 10 2022. The Call of Duty franchise is one of the best but it does get repetitive. The developers are trying to spice it up and make each game unique. That is hard when the game itself is fairly similar in the basics of it all. They did add a lot of new game modes which are promising. Some of the new game modes we saw were Prisoner rescue, knock out, and invasion. I personally am a big fan of cyber attack from Modern Warfare and wonder if they will be bringing that back into Modern Warfare 2. A lot of the community is asking for slide canceling to be brought back into the game. Another issue that the game seems to face is that they took out quick scoping from the game. It is still doable but they have definitely nerfed it drastically. They stated that they actually do not want it to be a big part of this game as it takes away from the game. Many disagree with this because at least 50% of the community likes to quick scope. To take out such a fundamental aspect of the game is outrageous. We didn't get to get a real feel to it in the beta since it did not allow for customization of the sniper class. Hopefully when it comes out we will be able to quick scope with better attachments. Many players in the beta actually used the default battle rifle to snipe instead of the sniper. That says a lot about how the community truly feels when it comes to the snipers. In other big news Advanced warfare 2 is coming back! I personally strongly disliked the original but I am curious to how the new one will be. This was announced just 3 days ago so there isn't much information about it yet! What will the future of Call of Duty be? Check out the game modes here

Modern warfare 2 beta just ended and we see so many mixed reviews. Many players; pros and regular gamers are complaining about some of the in game mechanics being taken out. Such as slide canceling and shooting while sliding. Slide canceling is a skill that good players developed to take it out of the game is a big hit to the community. It changes the play style of the game and the movement. Movement in Call of Duty defines if a player is good or not. To make drastic changes to that can cause an uproar within the Call of Duty community. Shooting while sliding is also a big mechanic that is being taken away. That reduces the speed of play immensely. Also most players are already use to shooting while sliding so now they will have to adjust accordingly. It is interesting that they would slow it down by taking those mechanics out when the TTK is so much faster in Modern Warfare 2. It almost contradicts itself with that adjustment. They added back a diving mechanic that we haven't seen in the past few Call of Duties but most players do not like this mechanic. The 2019 Modern Warfare definitely has a much better feel than the current Modern Warfare 2 beta. We didn't see much more about Warzone 2 which was disappointing but we did see more proximity chat being used in the game which is great! Still a bit on the fence about how it will affect the competitive community and hoping this will be addressed. There is speculation that a lot will be changed before the game actually comes out. The new perks setup is interesting. It seems to be a mix of regular perks and specialist. Is this game Infinity Ward's first miss or is it to early to judge? I think it is still to early to judge.

The Modern Warfare 2 first beta is out right now. All the pros and streamers are playing. We see 3rd person game mode back in MW2 like the one in the classic MW2 from 2009! Also we saw some warzone 2 action which was amazing! Warzone 2 beta unfortunately is not coming out just yet. There hasn't been much information about Call of Duty Warzone other than the streams we saw of professional streamers and gamers. That being said we did get a chance to see that there will be an open mic within the game! This is an amazing add on. The ability to talk to other players who are near you is great. Proximity chat will make the game so much better and more fun for all gamers. It will give the players a chance to talk to each other and mess with each other. My biggest concern is that people will team due to this even if they aren't on the same time. That can ruin the games competitiveness. Players might abuse the proximity chat and team up on other teams in order to get an advantage. Many professional Warzone players play with money on the line. This can take away potential wins and knock them out of even tournaments. Hopefully the Call of Duty community and Warzone community does not abuse it. We also see a lot of hackers in the current Warzone. The amount of hackers actually ruined the game and a lot of players quit. Streamers complained about it and the professional Warzone players took a very long break from the game. It was actually very disappointing to see yet completely understandable as to why so many of them quit playing. The developers put in a new anti cheat system that worked for a while but of course hackers found a way to bypass it. Hopefully this warzone does not have the same issues with hackers. The developers are making promises that all hackers will be dealt with so hopefully they can act on those promises. I am excited to see what is in store! PC and Xbox preorder beta comes out on Thursday the 22nd so if you are on those platforms get ready for some action!
