When I was a kid I had a lot of what if scenarios that led to alternate timeline stories. Now I'm using those alternate timelines so I can still use older ideas and have them still technically be canon! So here's Tilane, who doesn't exist in the main story but is a huge factor in an alternate world that I may turn into a project way down the road.

It turns out I'm not actually dead! I just went through a real bad breakup and came out the other side loving myself more ferociously than I ever have before, so it's been a bit of a whirlwind these past six months. Anyways though, I'm back to doing art on a somewhat more regular basis! Now with watercolor!

Okay, confession, I drew this last year. I was still super excited about the whole "give each character a unique look" thing that I wanted to draw them again. But life hit me on the butt and I didn't even finish coloring this thing until May. I had to change a couple details (mainly the eyes) to make them more accurate to Alli and Kyl's new designs, but their wings are both inaccurate. Ugh, one of these days I need to get off my lazy butt, stop looking at memes and actually draw accurate refs for these guys. Or at least upload the accurate drawings of these two I made a few months back. Being an adult stinks.

This is Ember, the son of Vukan and Agnimitra. His dad had been extremely scared to have kids, but newfound freedom and meeting Agnimitra helped him to get over his fears and have a kid like he'd always wanted. Ember grew up loved and well taken care of, in a place where his dad was able to keep him safe.

The moment she heard of Kurmir and his opposition to the Queen, she travelled halfway across the world to the Ferroveru empire to meet him. Vukan's sister Corona threw herself into her training her whole life. While her brother was off making friends and enjoying the company of others, she shut herself off and focused all of her energy into increasing her strength and improving her fighting skills. She truly believed that her purpose in life was to help the Children of Eldur overthrow the Queen and save Allitila, and she put up with a lot of mistreatment trying to achieve this goal.

Coral and her twin sister Crystal were adopted by Aquamarine and Rubian during the reconstruction of Rohya, so despite their unfortunate start on life they were both able to grow up as parts of a normal family. While Crystal liked to stay inside reading all day like her aunt Daffodil, Coral was always running around outside playing games like her uncle Sorrel.

Crystal and her twin sister Coral were born in Rohya during Verakh's reign and were left in the nursery by their parents. The kids had been unwanted, so at the first opportunity they were dropped off and were then never visited. Had Verakh continued to rule, Crystal and her sister, along with the many other kids abandoned by their parents in the nursery would have been indoctrinated into being soldiers loyal only to Verakh and the Lakaiyas. However, when they were still fairly young, Rohya regained independence, so they were given a chance at a normal life.

Years later as an adult when she was travelling the world, she stumbled into Vukan, who'd been through so much at the hands of the Ferroveru people, namely Kino. In their youth they didn't spend much time with each other as they both had their own lives to focus on, but meeting after all that time allowed a new friendship to blossom.

One of Vukan and Corona's parents, Avani didn't learn of their existence until they were in their teens. She met the Queen and became a Tilan a few centuries prior, befriending Alli as she spent time with the farming Alliveru after a harsh famine. They hit it off and became close friends.

I don't actually have much to say about Emerald, she's a bit of a one dimensional character. She's the younger sister of Aquamarine and Heliodor, the youngest child of Feldspar and Cassiterite and when the siblings were dropped off at Hawthorne's house, she was similar in age to Sorrel and Violet so she became friends with them, reflecting their interests as she grew up.

Aquamarine's older brother Heliodor was a similar age to Daffodil when they were placed in Hawthorne's care, so for a while he was fascinated by literature. But as he got a bit older, he developed a little crush on Poppy. He tried to impress her by getting piercings like Poppy had, and he participated in her band, but in the end nothing came of it.

The youngest child of Hawthorne and Birch, Lily was always an animal lover. She constantly begged her parents for a multitude of pets, and in her teenage years she volunteered at animal shelters. When Rohya was conquered, since she'd shown such a love for animals, she was assigned to work with the Cachuki's livestock. She worked tirelessly doing everything in her power to help the creatures stay healthy in cramped spaces, since their population was growing at an unusual size to help satiate the Lakaiya's hunger for meat. She grew attached to the animals, and after many years when given the opportunity to pursue other interests, she stuck with the animals and became extremely knowledgeable in their care.

In her youth her interests revolved around fashion and dreams of designing outfits and accessories for others, but life had a way of showing her that you're never safe from change. She ended up being a mother to three kids, which in her mom's eyes made her the most successful of all.
