#while its true that i first learned to type on a keyboard. its not like im bad at typing on a phone #its just way easier to get the letters wrong and autocorrect can be really annoying (its too useful to get rid of but also autocorrects- #-stuff that didn't need changing) #its way nicer to have something actually tactile as i type #like to feel the keys go down as i press them rather than just oh its on a screen. #i can kinda type without looking on phone keyboard but i will mess up a thousand times more due to this fact that theres no actual physical #-barrier between letters. also FRICK changing keyboards/press and hold to get numbers/special characters. annoying as crap #i exclusively type without looking so it feels more awkward to type half and half where i can see as im typing right below the thing im typ #idk how to describe it. im still not actively looking at where im typing (usually - special characters numbers and passwords are different) #but i can see it and its way more distracting. and i think i kinda pay at least SOMe attention to it cuz of said no physical difference #i can tell easily how to correct myself if i accidentally misplace where my hand are on my physical keyboard because i see what letters im #typing instead and can easily move my hands to course correct. i have to look at the keyboard to get things right on the phone. #not to mention; its way easier to accidentally press other letters. the amount of times ive accidentally opened up the emoji section or sen #a message too early because of that is unreal. but on keyboard if i misspell its just because im typing way too fast and will either double #type a key or will miss it (forget to press hard enough) or press the one by it cuz im going too fast. which is a me problem cuz i type fas #when you type fast and use most your fingers on both hands sometimes you type out of order #oh yeah theres that too typing with exclusively my thumbs SUCKS. but theres no room to do so on a phone + i use my fingers to HOLD my phone #as a result im way faster on keyboard (120wpm average) and while id say im still decently fast typing on a phone im no where near as much. #which frustrates me and makes me feel kinda like stuck and trapped behind a wall of slowness. i get really impatient with my typing #i will often leave typing big stories to people until i get home because of this because it just Frustrates Me to type slow my brain goes- #-way too fast think wise to have to suddenly slow down to get my messages written or said #anyway. i could say more but i have rambled more than enough. Physical keyboard is superiror in so many ways and I just much prefer it

When I'm in a motivation rut for art I try and watch videos of people drawing like Drawfee or speedpaints, because every time without fail seeing people draw and talk about drawing and talk about style choices or experiments it makes my brain go "HEY I WANNA DO THAT TOO I MISS THAT"

You know what. Sonic 06 was a horrendous game to play and the graphics weren't it. But by golly am I glad it exists for no reason other than the fact it means that we have Dreams of an Absolution (SPECIFICALLY the LB vs. JS remix)

That song hits me hard and the emotion and craftmanship is beautiful. I love it so much. I still listen to it constantly to this day. If there was only 1 good thing to come out of Sonic 06 it's this song man

#ramble post #randy rambles #im not tagging this because the fandom scares me but i love the series friendly reminder #the original is good but like no where near as good as the remix imo #ive heard the remix too much. the original version feels slow in comparison #also ive never been a fan of the quick break in the original that happens after the second chorus but thats again just preference #i feel like the remix also feels more SONIC-y. it still has the EDM but it also has the rock guitar to tie it in #i think both use autotune but the autotune in the remix is way less noticable and i think it aids it a lot by being less In Your Face #again. just my personal opinion. I feel like the remix is slept on #anyway i could go into more rambly depth about this song but i wont i will go back to listening to it

It frustrates me when people tell me I'm being unreasonable for my opinions on new Minecraft features and "so what if it's unbalanced it's fun"

Minecraft is a game that I grew up watching and playing. I spend a lot of my time still playing it. I interact with most areas of the game that others don't. Some people only build and avoid most redstone, or PvP and avoid building.

I explore every part of the game. I've tried my hand at speedrunning, I'm decent at PvP, I build, I do redstone, I know obscure game knowledge, I make farms, I brew potions, I do villager trading halls, I adventure, I spend hours just mining 1 material where others would get bored.

Its my favourite game of all time. Of course I'm going to get invested when mojang adds a feature that I think would make aspects of the game less fun. I play those aspects, "just ignore it lol" is such a stupid arguement to use against me. Of course I'm gonna care about what gets changed in my favourite game of all time that I still spend hours playing. Why wouldn't I??

I don't want Microsoft to make this game all about the next big op item hit with progression and make it like terraria or something other game (no hate to terraria). I'm tired of it.

The prices are per character in British Pound Sterling BPS. Once we work out your commission, I'll draw a VERY rough thumbnail sketch which can be tweaked until you're happy with it. Thomas the Tank Engine with an American narrator is extremely cursed. I don't care if its because "I grew up with the British narrator", the american accent just sounds so wrong. American accent jumpscare

Probably a controversial take, but I think modern Sonic games need to stop having 2D segments and especially need to stop having them so frequently. Keep the modern games 3D and the classic style games 2D.

When the games like the adventure games and heroes only do 3D, it allows them to focus on making sure playing in a 3D environment is fun and good (usually. Cough cough 06)

But in games like Generations and Colours the 3D sections to me have always felt clunky. Like afterthoughts. You go too fast too quick and feel very out of control. The games focus more on the 2D aspect and you can really feel it in controlling it

Idk how much frontiers sticks to 3D I still need to play it but I feel like they need to pick a lane and stick to it. Stick to it so you can refine it.
