COLOR PSD #03; ↳ BERRY by recurscs –– ( download )

aight so in light of recent events within the rpc and how gifs are literally being whitewashed since 1920 (not rly but u get the point) i decided to make this lil coloring. its very similar to my other psd made specifically for poc: richer. this was made with people of color in mind only, meaning i have no clue if it works on white/white passing folks or how it looks ( if you try it and it makes them look brown or as if they’re people of color, don’t use it ) – this works pretty great on dark-skinned black people, but ofc you are free to adjust it to fit your needs. this looks cute on gif icons too.

keep in mind no coloring is flawless so you should be adjusting this to fit each video/scene/lighting/person for a more accurate finish. just... don’t ever whitewash again. – this was made from scratch by me so pls do not: redistribute, steal, claim as your own or use on white folks if it makes them look like they’re poc. lil adjustments tips can be found within the psd, but if you have any questions regarding this coloring my inbox/ims r both open.  ¡ reblog & enjoy !

2. educate yourself

it isn’t enough to sign petitions and reblog/retweet/etc. nonblack people, including people of color, owe it to black people to educate themselves and correct themselves and the people around them on anti-blackness.

3. give out supplies to protestors

people need supplies to protest safely, and even if they bring supplies with them, they can often run out. if you’re able, stock up and hand them out to people protesting. for more supplies to donate, see the “george floyd action” google docs link in section 5.

water bottles (dehydration and heatstroke are not things people should have to deal with alongside bastard cops. if the police in your area are particularly violent or known to use tear gas, get the ones with the sports cap/suction-thing/etc so people can use them as emergency eye-flushes.)

snacks (make sure to take into account that people have allergies of all sorts. foods will have a little label that says “may contain” and then list any potential allergens. write the allergens on the ziploc (or any container you use) in permanent marker, or better yet, write the snacks included in the pack.)

masks (don’t forget there’s still a pandemic going on. also it will aid in deterring facial recognition when the police try to track down protestors,  also part two, if the cops use tear gas, wearing a mask (with the combination of a scarf or bandana) will lessen the adverse effects. lessen, not stop.)

bandanas, scarves, etc. and goggles (ski goggles, swimming goggles, etc.) (see above for explanation on the scarves. same goes for the goggles. anti–tear gas and anti–facial recognition.)

clean shirts (for people who are heavily gassed. also helps deter recognition through clothing.)

wound care supplies (band-aids, packets of neosporin packets or a similar antibiotic, alcohol wipes, etc.; if you can, decant bactine into those little travel bottles.)

a sharpie or another type of marker (for writing bail numbers or emergency contacts on arms, hands, etc. it’s not enough to have your city’s bail fund number stored on your phone; the police won’t give it to you to look it up. give people a marker so they can write it down, preferably not washable so it isn’t easily removed.)

IMPORTANT: KNOWING FIRST AID

tear gas: if you’re hit, get out as fast and as soon as you can. take anyone you can with you. the longer you’re in the gas, the harder it will be for you to see, and it can irritate your airways, making it hard to breathe. if you’re hit, don’t run; it’ll only make things worse on your lungs. when you leave the area, take a cold shower. don’t use hot water (it will only reactivate the agent); don’t bathe (it will only spread the CS around). move them to a clean and ventilated area where it’s as safe as possible.

ask them if they’re wearing contact lenses. have them remove it. if they’re wearing glasses, rinse it with water.

solution of half liquid antacid, half water. spray from the inside going out, with the head tilted back and slightly towards the side being rinsed. if they say it’s okay, open the eye slightly while doing this. (source)

bullet wounds: the most important thing is to stop the bleeding. be sure to check for an exit wound and cover that as well. treat both wounds, but treat the worse one first.

huge masterlist of korean names

because who doesn’t love more ideas for names for korean characters! all of these names are taken from the contestants of produce 101 (that’s right 101 female names and 101 male names and their last names) and are in alphabetical order and sorted by gender! These are actual family and given names of Korean trainees (so they may be less common names), and are written in the most common form of romanization! (Note: not all trainees from Produce 101 are listed, since i omitted trainees not of Korean decent. Some had korean names and chinese names but like… i wasn’t sure so i just omitted them because they were Chinese trainees.)

as asked by anon, here’s the action that i use for my gifs. it has three versions of sharpening: soft, medium and strong. use it on timeline, it’ll end up with frames. i’ve also added an action making frames into timeline and another one making timeline into frames (without sharpening), just in case. like/reblog if you find this useful, do not repost. enjoy!

Éstas alternativas están hechas para los que quieran lograr algo que solo se puede obtener en Photoshop, pero desde la comodidad de tu móvil y/o desde un navegador web. No necesitas descargar un programa en tu pc y es totalmente gratis.

❝ ALTERNATIVA DEL PROGRAMA ❞

El nombre del programa es Photopea (clic en el nombre) permite que utilices psd colorings, templates, texturas, hagas gifs y mucho más. Acepta que guardes y abras documentos PSD, XCF, JPG, PNG y WebP. Lo mejor es que es en línea y no necesitas descargar el programa. Es muy (pero muy) similar a Photoshop. De hecho es la misma interfaz. Sirve para adaptarse al programa y para quienes no tienen suficiente espacio o no puedan darse el lujo de tener Photoshop.

Hay cuentas en tumblr que explican cómo puede ser utilizado pero lastimosamente están en portugués. Igualmente les dejo lista de sus tutoriales excepto que están traducidas desde Google Translate Site y pueden haber errores de traducción. De todos modos al ser portugués, un idioma similar al español no será tan complicado de entender:

❝ ALTERNATIVAS DE COLORINGS (FILTROS) ❞

Otras alternativas para darle filtro o color a tus fotos pueden ser tanto Photopea como Polarr y Picsart desde el móvil. Para hacerlo en Photopea simplemente debes buscar psd colorings en tumblr o incluso en deviantart y guardarlos siguiendo las instrucciones que pide el creador. O también pueden chequear el tag que provee éste tumblr para encontrarte con una gran gama de psd colorings (clic aquí). Photopea permite ser usado tanto en móviles como en pc.

Picsart y Polarr tienen la función de darle colorings a tus fotos desde la comodidad de tu móvil. Personalmente prefiero Polarr. Polarr permite escanear códigos con filtros muy bonitos para tus edits y hay más recursos con esta aplicación.

La mayoría de estos filtros puedes encontrarlos en instagram pero aquí recopilo las cuentas de instagram que crean filtros gratis para su uso. Recuerden dejar créditos y no repostear sus recursos ni nada de su pertenencia sin su autorización:
