https://youtu.be/V49RN8c-gWs. When we did “Vuelve Palomita” back in 2012 it was a hard song to perform, and especially shoot a video for. Mr Xavier Chavarrilla had a great vision and story for it . At first I was concerned, because of what the video was going to be about . Also because I had also lost a baby sister at birth , had just lost my mother in 2009, and almost lost my wife a week after losing my mother to renal failure. Xavier expressed that the lyrics to the song were special, and that shooting this video with this story line would touch many hearts. He was right, it did . I received so many messages about the video and how it touched them. That in someway it helped them. That it was their song. That to me was more special than the Video winning video of the year that year. That was the greatest gift any fan could give me. To the day when I try to sing this song it’s so difficult to get through it, because of the people I’ve lost and the people close to me that have lost children and loved ones. I hope once again this song and video can help out in someway to the people that have been affected by a tragic loss, or loss of a loved one. Right now a very close friend who very recently lost her daughter is also going through this pain. Years ago I was able to help her, but this time around God needed her more. This song is dedicated to you Amiga, the families from Uvalde, and anyone that has lost someone. Losing a Mother, father, relative , sibling, or close is so hard already. Losing a child is my worst nightmare. Once again I Offer you all my condolences and my prayers. May God place his healing hand on you and give you the strength you need right now to go through what you are going through. I promise you all that all of you will be in my prayers every day.
