The best part about life is that there’s magic in ordinary places. Sometimes it’s obvious like in the air on Christmas morning and sometimes you have to look for it. But it’s always there, every day you get a chance to find magic.

Being single and living in a new city is great. I go to every place I want to go to, I meet so many new people and I make friends and I get drunk and I have fun and I really feel like I’ve been taking advantage and not taking being young for granted. And if you’re in a relationship and spending all your time watching Netflix with someone you really care about, well I’m sure that’s fun too in a different way. I mean I know it is, because I’ve been there too. But what’s not fun is looking back after that relationship ended and thinking about all the things you could’ve been doing instead. So I guess what I’m trying to say is if you’re not completely sure of someone (or even if you are but you’re not completely ready to be), don’t stay just because it feels safe.
